As always, I appreciate the opportunity to read and review this title.

However, I was not able to finish this as I was not able to connect with the story and the way the characters were written. I was disappointed, as I have read this author before and enjoyed the title, so I am guessing this is just a one-off.

I have chosen to mark this title as a "DNF" and I apologize for the delay in sending this response to this title.

Thank you!

I just loved this book I have enjoyed the whole series they just keep getting better and better so if you get the chance give them a go. After seeing some of the chemistry between Becca and Hale in the first book I was really looking forward to their story and it did not disappoint. These two have been friends since they were kids and as they grew their feelings changed and started to develop but before they could do anything about them her dad ruined it. Now years have gone by and when Hale needs help Becca is in a position to help clear his name. This was a terrific read and great addition to the series

After waiting to find out what was being hinted at between these two, I did not click with Hale and Becca when it came time to their story. I had too many issues with the plot points to enjoy it.

I love Cecy Robson (Crave Me is one of my favorite books) but Infinite just didn't click for me. During the first two books in the series, we see Becca and Hale having moments but we are not privy to more than we are see in the distance. We are told that Becca and Hale are such good friends but the summer after graduation, just before they are to leave for college, Becca decides she wants to have sex with Hale before they go their separate ways. Great. No problem with that, but she might have wanted to go somewhere except on the beach in front of her father's house. Who would do that? Especially when your rich, entitled and slightly crazy Daddy absolutely hates Hale.

So as you might imagine, Becca and Hale get caught half naked making out with his hand up her skirt in the sand by Becca's cousins, who will do anything to gain favor with her rich Daddy and beat the crap out of Hale. Becca calls their friends and they keep Hale from needing to be hospitalized, but at this point Becca's crazy father shows up with a shotgun threatening to shoot Hale unless Becca gets rid of the trash. Hale wants Becca to leave with him and is upset that she chooses to stay with her father. Did he not see the shotgun? If they are such good friends, he has to know about her father?  He know that her father hates him and that he is a rich, entitled bastard and crazy enough to shooth him.  Hale leaves angry and hurt that Becca chooses her father over him.  This isn't Romeo and Juliet.  Did I mention that they weren't even dating and that they were just good friends?   Then crazy Daddy takes out his anger on Becca's face and tosses her out of the house for being a dirty slut.

This group of friends really suck since Hale never tries to call Becca to make sure crazy Daddy didn't hurt her or even realize there might be a reason she stayed behind with her crazy Daddy. And Becca has to walk to her BFF's house and her family takes Becca to the hospital.  Of course, Becca doesn't want anyone to tell Hale, and they don't. Really? Whether or not they knew about Becca and Hale getting naked in the sand, why would no one let Hale know that Becca got the hell beaten out of her by her Dad?

Becca and Hale's entire non-relationship is based upon the fact that Hale is hurt that Becca didn't choose him.  At one point after graduating college, quite magnanimously, Hale decides he is going to seek out Becca at a New Year's party and move past things until he sees an engagement ring on her finger and is once again hurt by her betrayal and stomps away with no conversation.   He hasn't spoken to her in six years but she was suppose to what? wait for him.

While I admire the fact that Becca somehow attended the college that her father now refused to pay for and she has become very successful as the PR director of an NFL football team and helped turn around their reputation, but part of that included the fake engagement to the son of the owner of the team.  They faked the engagement because this guy was such a spoiled, screw up and they needed to polish his reputation.  When he screws up again, and his father wants to distract the public with a wedding, and here suddenly is another rich, entitled asshat who is trying to force Becca to do his bidding or else he will fire her.

Just for drama, since there wasn't enough for this story, Becca's rich, entitled daddy is now sick and he wants to see Becca.  Doesn't matter that he tossed out onto the street 10 years ago after beating her up, he wants to see her now.  Her Mama (who hasn't spoken to Becca either) calls and Becca actually waffles back and forth for pages and pages whether she should go.  Are you kidding me?  Screw him.  He wants to make amends, he can put me back in the Will to reimburse the medical bills.  That trip to the ER when you no longer have insurance coverage is expensive.

Then because there wasn't enough misunderstandings between Hale and Becca, we should also throw in a fiance who shows up for Hale and who Becca finds half-naked in Hale's house, but she's not really the fiance.  She just says she is because wants to be the fiance but Hale won't commit since Becca (see above) screwed with his heart.  *sigh*

Even when they got their act together and adopted some shelter dogs and made a cute little family, I just couldn't be happy for them.  They frustrated me too much and the whole thing could have been avoided if these two friends would have just picked up their cell phones and texted an "Are you alright?"

This is my second time reading a book written by Cecy Robson and both times, I enjoyed every moment.

Infinite is the third book in the Carolina Beach series; however, it can be read as a stand-alone. This installment introduces Hale and Becca good friends since high school. Her father deemed their friendship unworthy as Hale's family did not come from money. However, despite this their friendship grew stronger eventually evolving into a love which would face not only the test of her family's disapproval but also of time.

Unforeseen circumstances tore them apart leaving them both alone and brokenhearted. Distance and time, however did not diminish or put an end to the love that had for each other. The love they had for each other was so strong that ten years later when Becca found out Hale was in trouble she dropped everything and came running to his rescue. Even though they had not been in communication with each other in a long time.

Infinite is a story about love, healing, self -discovery and forgiveness. It featured two characters who had their share of pain and emotional upheavals. I found myself caught up in their lives from the moment they were introduced. One of the things I appreciated was the lack of unnecessary drama. There were misunderstandings, but they did not allow them to derail their relationship.

Becca and Hale were perfect for each other. Becca is warm and friendly, which is good given what she endured during her childhood into her teen years. Hale became a successful and ethical businessman. He avoided commitment, but he is not the type to sleep around.

I enjoyed watching them find their way back to each other and overcoming obstacles that shadowed their every turn. Theirs was a journey riddled with emotions that would make you cry, laugh and swoon.

I enjoyed spending time with their friends, especially Sean. He is the friend who provides comic relief during the stressful moments and although he may annoy you, you cannot help but appreciate his efforts.

Conclusion /Recommendation
I enjoyed this story from start to finish. I had a hard time putting this one down. If you enjoy feel good second chance romances, then you need to get a copy of this book. I will be adding Cecy Robson to my list of must read authors. One of my favourites for 2018

4 stars

Infinite by Cecy Robson is an enjoyable read.
I liked the storyline, it was well written, well paced and the plot held my interest from start to end.
I enjoyed watching the relationship between Becca and Hale unfold and I was happy they were able to get their second chance at love.

Overall a very good read and I highly recommend it.

I've loved this series from the start. Cecy just takes me and wraps me in friendship and the family we choose not the blood we're born into.
From Inseverable (Callahan and Trinity) to Eternal (Luci and Landon) I quickly formed attachments to each character in this series. Becca and Hale were characters that I wanted to shake and push together from the start. You know their past has some kind of defining point that pushed them into life choices worlds away from each other. The why and the how is finally brought to focus in Infinite.
Love for me is something you've gotta nurture and feed. These two pushed a childhood /young adult love to the back burner after one night that changed everyone's lives. They both tried moving on and it just did not work.
Becca loved a false picture of settling down and Hale became this force of nature on Wallstreet.
Then when betrayal comes knocking Becca answers with fists raised ready to battle for Hale.
I will say there's drama coming from every direction, secrets brought to light and I simply had moments where I didn't know if this couple would make it through. But I had faith because this author just pushes you high, breaks you hard and heals you with the sweetest landing.

Passion was strong, love was enough and I just feel like these two deserved to finally find peace in each other.

I loved the addition of their doggie babies.
Oh where will you go next Cecy? Is it over or more to come for this group of friends?
I mean even silly and funny Sean needs his HEA and I really need more of a story for sexy strong Mason. I loved his heroine here but give me their full story please or even a novella !

4 soul healing stars ✨

I LOVE Cecy's books. More specifically her writing. This book is no different from any of her others for me. It was enjoyable and realistic. Maybe not too relatable for many, at least I hope not.

Becca and Hale have a long past. They loved each other and everything just went to crap for them. From their families to their lack of communication. So many things could have been said and done but then they wouldn't have gone through the life they have to find each other again and appreciate everything that they have and want.

While there were parts I felt myself skimming through I enjoyed the play of events. I could have used more of them explaining their feelings about their past though. They just seemed to forgive each other, which is fine, but I would have liked more. Also, I could have done without the "y'all's". I'm from Texas but that annoyed me for some reason.

Here the third volume of the Carolina Beach series is and I was curious to discover the new characters put forward this time.

Becca really did not have an easy childhood. It’s even more than that when we see her family. I felt sick when I saw everything she had suffered and how proud I was when I saw the woman she had managed to become despite all that. However, the young woman did not expect to confront her past one day and even less her old crush: Hale. Yes, because as soon as she learns that he is in trouble, she rushes to help him. But meeting again will also push them to face the feelings they thought were buried.

The romance between the two characters was touching. They both know that they are made to be together, but that life did not fit it. They must both manage their own demons and it will not be easy. Yet, each one of them will get there and I found these events very touching. Cecy Robson presents us a pretty little romance, a story of second chance that our two heroes will seize. I had a great time and I think this novel will please the fans of the series!

A little more? We even see characters from previous series, so what more can we ask for?

Hale Wilder and Becca Shields have carried strong feelings for each other for a long time but when Hale's entire life and reputation is at stake and Becca comes to his help.
While I've enjoyed this author before, this one didn't quite did it for me.
The book is enjoyable and it's told from both PoVs, so you get a glimpse on what both characters were feelings.
I felt the author opened several fronts that she really didn't treated in depth (abuse from her family, the background on his family) and were only glimpsed superficially.
I really think Hale and Becca are wonderful, but I also feel they were not given enough depth for me to really dive into their story,
Overall, it was an entertaining read, but it didn't left me dazzled

This third book of the Carolina Beach series is the best one yet. Ms Robson wrote a book about two people who had a difficult past, yet they did not allow it to define them. This story is full of hope and second chances that will warm your heart.

Hale and Becca are at the peak of their successful careers with Hale a Wall Street tycoon, and Becca in public relations. Though it’s been years since Hale and Becca had ended their relationship, when things go south, one would help the other. In this case, Hale is in trouble and Becca will come to his aid. They have a rough start but the reconnection was sweet

I will be honest, though I have loved Ms Robson’s work, this series has not been my favorite from her work. However, Robson has won my heart in this installment. I love that despite Hale and Becca’s past, they’ve made something of themselves. It was satisfying to see them get exactly what they have earned and deserved. That includes friends that care, and a second chance at love. The best part of the story is the delivery. Robson did a good job building up the characters, their feelings, and timing of their reconnection. It made me believe that the second chance Hale and Becca are getting is genuinely real. It’s sounds cliche, but I connected with them and their story.

When I first read the book description of ‘Infinite’ I knew this was a book I wanted to read. I love romance stories and this one just sounded so good. So I requested an ARC as soon as I could and I was super excited when I got approved to read this one. Although ‘Infinite’ is the third book in the Carolina Beach series, it can be read as a standalone.

In ‘Infinite’ we follow Hale Wilder and Becca Shields. Hale and Becca both had a pretty hard childhood but they always had each other. But years ago their friendship changed drastically and they lost touch. Now Hale is big guy on Wall Street, and Becca is the best in her field of public relations. When Hale finds himself in trouble, Becca is determined to help him. But will Hale be able to trust the one woman who broke his heart.

‘Infinity’ is my first Cecy Robson book and I must say I really enjoyed it. I love a good romance story and this story is definitely filled with lots of romance and chemistry. Hale and Becca are both very interesting characters to read about. I especially loved that they weren’t only romantically involved, but they were friends too. It was definitely so much fun to read about. And I soon felt like I’ve known these characters a lot longer than only from this read.

There were moments in this book were I thought time went way to fast. For example the moment Hale and Becca finally came together. The next moment it was several weeks later. But this wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. I just enjoyed this book so much I wouldn’t have mind reading more and longer about these characters. It did feel a little sudden to me at times.

If you like romantic stories with a lot of chemistry than this book is definitely for you. From the very first chapter the moments between Hale and Becca are filled with chemistry. And Cecy Robson definitely gave us some very hot and sexy moments.

Having read and enjoyed books 1, 2, and 4 of this author’s “The O’Brien’s” series, Ms. Robson’s name now tends to catch my eye. In particular, I’d love to backtrack and read the rest of that particular series.

Infinite, Book 3 of her Carolina Beach series, is what’s on the table of discussion now. Becca and Hale, the main couple, go way back, but it’s implied they were mostly just friends crushing on each other until a fleeting opening scene. Just when they were about to take their relationship down a whole new direction, they were stopped dead in their tracks.

After a very physical and emotional, painful parting, we are fast forwarded several years. Hale now harbors quite a bit of hate towards Becca at the same time a flicker of lost, unrequited love is still burning and torturing his soul. Not enough to keep him from bed hopping with other women, mind you. For me, it wasn’t such a good idea for this author to try to endear a hero to me that has been jumping in the sack with random women, including a boat load of crazy woman he’s been regularly intimate with for two years that he knows is giving it up to lots of other guys on the side. She rich and convenient, but, really? He should expect better of himself, folks.

Poor Becca is all I can say. Her heart and body has taken many a beating from those who should have cared for her. What didn’t kill her certainly did seem to make her stronger. One major plot hole though was she still traveled in the same circle of friends as Hale, yet he somehow never found out what happened to her after he left. I just couldn’t see this whole bunch of besties keeping that under wraps and not trying to help set things right. Also, why didn’t she contact him herself and fess up to the truth? Or at least reach out to him in regret. Throw in the fact they did run into each other under different circumstances over the years but still left things the way they were. Even worse, jumped to even more wrong conclusions.

Don’t even get me started on Becca giving a second thought to caring what happened to her rich but loser family, especially her parents. Having to have surgeries to correct damage inflicted should have been the a wake up call to all of them on just how seriously dysfunctional they were. To continue to manipulate others into believing their lies should have had her completely distancing herself from them altogether. Therefore, I didn’t like or buy into Becca’s reasoning to keep opening herself up to more painful drama from them.

I really was intrigued how this main couple would finally reconcile and move towards their long overdue, belated HEA. Unfortunately, they would make progress then unnecessary, drawn out material/dialogue would pop up. Seriously, I did not care or want to hear the verbose, meaningless conversation about how Becca and her bestie’s love of America’s Top Model TV series inspired them. The PR photo shoot that had Hale and Becca naked in bed posing beneath the sheets while a highly paid photographer named Toodles (I kid you..not) touted off instructions felt odd, to say the least. It had me questioning the direction this book was headed. The final last straw was them deciding to go visit her family because one of them was very sick. I didn’t agree with the reasoning behind that at all. They should have stayed dead to her, every single last one of them.

So, folks, along with the fact about midway through I realized the author was taking too long to tell this tale, by 70% into it, I didn’t want to stick around for the undeserving, worthless family drama, which was about to be dredged up all over again. All in all, I think this storyline could have been so much more than it was. The writing needed to stay more focused on plot progress between the main couple. Because it didn’t, I don’t feel the book itself lived up to what was promised in the synopsis.

Book 1 - Inseverable (Trinity & Callahan)
Book 2 - Eternal (Luci & Landon)
Book 3 - Infinite (Becca & Hale)

Title: Infinite, Series: Carolina Beach (Book 3), Author: Cecy Robson, Pages: 365, stand-alone but part of a series, strong heroine but didn’t agree with her logic at times, verbal and physically abusive parents, rags to riches hero whose in trouble, very steamy scenes, taking too long to tell the tale.

4.5 Stars!

Infinite by Cecy Robson is not your typical friends to lovers romance. It is chock-full of meaningful discoveries, loyal friendships and demoralizing family members. The two main characters, public relations guru Becca Shields, and Wall Street notable Hale Wilder, were best friends for years before parting ways to pursue their respective careers after college. Instead of a passionate unveiling of their true feelings for each other, their last night together was a horrific nightmare.

Becca and Hale have not been friendly for a long time. Yet when Hale gets falsely accused of securities fraud, Becca immediately volunteers her services. While the attorneys find evidence of Hale's innocence, Becca works on rebuilding his reputation and company. Their time together evolves into a loving and lustful relationship.

Infinite is truly an amazing and heartrending novel. It is well-written, and Becca and Hale are interesting, complex and genuine. They have undeniable chemistry, and their romance is replete with emotion, sadness and love. If you enjoy a novel with a strong heroine, an eclectic group of caring friends, and an unsung hero, then read this book. This is the third book from the author's Carolina Beach series and it can be enjoyed as a standalone.

I loved this book, it was about time Becca & Hale got their HEA! I could have slapped Becca`s dad for how he treated her and her mother & cousin's too! Becca & Hale had me in tears talking about the bad times they'd been through but they also had me laughing at the banter between them and their friends!

I hate the thought that this is the last in the series though! I know Sean, bless him, wouldn't necessarily warrant a book, but I'd hoped Mason would maybe get one.

Great book and well worth reading

I found this to be a very entertaining story. It begins as two young people who have grown up together and after many years of being together they are hoping to take it to the next step. This does happen because Becca’s cousins find them and proceed to bet up the guy she is with Hale Wilder. After some of Hale’s friends show up it becomes a matter of words and her father then arrives and she tells Hale to leave. Her father treats her beyond words and she eventually leaves as well. The story then takes you to ten years later. Both are successful in their fields he is a Wall Street broker, she is a PR person for a pro football. Their two lives come back together when he is accused, arrested, of insider trading. Wanting to help and not believing the charges against him she along with some other friends bring him back to his home town to sort out the charges, and more importantly their past. It is then when they go back to that night and what happened after he left that they slowly begin to heal. It is only when he reveals his secret from his family after his father died that they truly start to become a couple, but there is still work to be done. A very good story with many good characters and even the ones you don’t like help make the story. Overall a very good book.

Becca and Hale grew up as friends but the night their friendship takes a turn ends up a nightmare that separates them from years. After both succeeding in their chosen careers, they are reunited when Hale is brought up on charges of insider trading. Becca is just the person to help him recover his reputation despite Hale not wanting her there. But Hale can’t hold out long because Becca has always held his heart and he’s realizing that she always will.

I enjoyed getting to know this couple. Becca was strong and feisty as well as independent and nothing slowed her down. Hale had felt the hole left behind by her and could never fill it, dating women he would never fall for. They are both sweet characters that belonged together. The drama in this story comes from both outside forces as well as relationship issues and yet it never felt really angsty except near the end when they both have to face their pasts.

This is a relatively fast read with some wonderful secondary characters that gave me some laugh out loud moments, as well as a couple of villains that I wanted to rage at. I was never really sold on this couple’s chemistry, even though I liked them both separately and together, and despite the explicit scenes between them I would label this as medium heat due to that lack of connection. However, I was still engaged and never skimmed and I would definitely read other books in this series.

I love second chance romances and having seen a little of the obvious chemistry between Becca and Hale in Inseverable I was really looking forward to reading their story and finding out exactly what had happened between them. These two have been friends for most of their lives but those feelings grew much stronger when they were teenagers and they finally came close to acting on them the summer after they finished college, just before all their friends went in their separate directions to start their careers. Unfortunately what should have been a perfect night was ruined by Becca's controlling and abusive father and although they've seen each other occasionally since that night ten years ago things have never been the same.

Now Hale is in trouble, he's been falsely accused of fraud and the investigation has put him in the middle of a media storm that is ruining his reputation and about to destroy his business. Becca is a public relations expert and she will do whatever it takes to help Hale fight his corner, even if spending time working closely with him is going to be hell on her emotions. Both of these characters have never really gotten over each other but life got in the way and pulled them in opposite directions. There have been misunderstandings but I was really pleased with the way they discussed things like adults and were willing to listen to each other's points of view. They've both had it tough but have found their own ways to survive and make a life for themselves.

I really loved these two together, Becca is the kind of girl you could easily be friends with, she's sweet, funny and will do anything for her friends. Hale is just as nice, he has made a name for himself in business but he's not ruthless and for once we get to read about a rich, successful business man who doesn't just sleep around with anyone who takes his fancy. It was really nice to catch up with Trinity, Callahan and some of the other members of their friendship group too. Although this story can be read as a standalone fans of the series will definitely appreciate the appearance of those familiar characters.

Infinite was a sweet romance with a really great couple but like with all of Cecy Robson's contemporary romances she's not afraid to touch on difficult subjects so there were some really quite painful scenes with Becca's family in particular. I think this story is all about showing that your family isn't just the group of people you were born into but also the people you choose, the friends that will stick by you through thick and thin, and that's a reminder most of us could use at one point in our lives.

This book is filled with all the feels and so much more. Hale is the known as the Anaconda of Wall Street but when the FBI suddenly storms his office and arrests him his world is thrown upside down. Becca is the PR powerhouse for the Carolina Cougars who brought the football team from the brink of destruction to practically do no wrong with the media but when she finds out Hale is in trouble she is on the next plane to New York to help. Ten years after "the incident" that broke them apart and all the near misses in the years in between cannot keep them apart. Hale and Becca were meant for each other from the beginning and working together to clear his name and restore his reputation brings them closer. Great characters and wonderful settings. This can be read as a standalone.

I loved being able to finally see Hale and Becca’s final journey. I’ve been looking forward to it ever since the first book in the series. I also loved getting to catch up with the whole gang. I’m not ready to let go though. Hopefully Mason and Sean’s will get their happily ever afters too!
