I did not get this book at all, except as a fictional guide to self-insight and the peace that can come from meditation. And I’ve read a lot of books and guides on that subject and there is no need, in my opinion, to craft a genuinely ludicrous fiction around that. I read more than half the book and gave up.

I received this book as an ARC from the publisher and NetGalley.

I love the swift reflections on reality and what's beyond it in this book and I know there's got to be some reader out there who's asked if there's going to be a sequel to this, but for the sake of emphasis I'll ask "are there any thoughts of writing a sequel?"
Thanks Netgalley for the eARC.

On the fifth night. ⭐️

The descriptive writing drew me but lost me almost instantly. We follow a man that loses his wife to huntingtons disease and his grief over takes him and he goes a but crazy.
He is dealig with real life, his sanity, or lack of sanity, and it got a bit confusing.
Since we are dealing with what hebelueves is real and what really is the lines blur and it got confusing.

Thank you so much to Mindmark via netgalley for sending me an ARC copy of on the fifth night by Michael Howard . This will be released on may 30,2016

This book was right up my alley. Really enjoyed the writing style and the way it goes in and out of reality, its hard at times to understand but stick with it and it really becomes very gripping. Really look forward to a possible sequel or more from the author too.

This book switches between real and imagined worlds and life and death. It was a bit hard to follow at times, but when I was invested, I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Interesting narrative of the physical and metaphysical world, the consciousness between life and death . Jacket cover description gives adequate detail of story. Storyline bobs between real and imagined and sometimes difficult to follow. Thought provoking book.
