This was a guide to help you practice gratitude in your everyday life. I thought it was helpful, though not all of the tips were helpful to me at this time. But was able to focus on gratitude even more!

This book was simple but to the point and at some parts repetitive, but I think that was kind of the point so that you could really focus on bringing gratitude into your life and build the life you want to.

Only through practicing we wil reach the gift

As a workbook, from the first pages it is about putting hands to work to transform our attitude towards what happens to us in life; and also towards ourselves, the way we think, feel and act. As the author says "Find gratitude in the darkest of places"
There are no explanations, it is not an informative book, it is only the warm invitation to transform yourself proactively and through the same experience of practicing Gratitude every day. The author is wise and knows that only through practicing and having direct personal experience we will reach the gift.

Gratitude is a coherent emotional state of high vibrational frequency, denotes developed intelligence and requires complex psychological processes. In my own experience, practicing it has given a deep edified meaning to my daily life, of spiritual connection in my social relationships and interaction with the natural world that surrounds me. Likewise, my perspective and perception of my life are beautified, even in the face of problems, because I can find the positive aspects within the adverse circumstances, therefore it has helped me to overcome my challenges and improve my relationships. I have also acquired more sensitivity, for example to the beneficial service that the tiny insects that live in my house, to my plants, to the seeds and vegetables when I take their life to nourish myself and my family. It humbles me because it helps me to recognize that we are interconnected, and therefore it helps me to further develop my ethic of cooperation and solidarity, as well as my generosity. And all this together, seeing the best in life and people, makes me have more moments of happiness.

My appreciation to the Publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to review the book

A nice book but sadly i don't think it is necessary overall since it doesn't really offer a new view or great inspirations how to be more grateful or see things differently in my option.
Its still a good book if you need direct guidance on how to be grateful.

It is nice to remember to be grateful and this book has a nice way of reminding me of different areas to be grateful in. I have been working on the ideas already of this book - trying to forgive and manifesting and being grateful . I would have liked it more if I had this in workbook paper format so I could write my responses in it and work it the way it was meant to be used.

Thank you to by Shilamida, BooksGoSocial, and NetGalley for allowing me the extreme pleasure of access to an advanced reader copy of “31 Days of Gratitude: Create the Life you Desire” for an honest review.

I found this book a bit briefer than I expected, but it was filled with a lot of helpful information. I love to read more about universal fate, the law of attraction, and self-actualizing both yourself presently and that which you draw into your life for your future.

I love that it has one starting a gratitude journal and using it often. Reminding us to be more thoughtful, more grateful, more even simply aware of all the blessings that are overlooked in a life. I have a copy for myself and I’m definitely getting a few as Christmas gifts.

It is ok, but kind of repetitive. It is short but can be helpful. I love the gratitude exercise and I apply it daily so it is nice to read motives to be grateful for.

I keep a Journal. I write in it almost daily.

almost

I try to be grateful every day, but sometimes it's hard.

Sometimes we have very bad days and it's hard to appreciate anything.

I'm not big on self-help books, but this one attracted my attention on #NetGalley, so I requested it.

Remember, November is when people start posting what they are grateful for.

This book is a great place to start!

Not exactly what I was hoping for. This is more of a beginner's journal to mindful journaling than an actual book.

This really should be described more as a workbook, because that is truly what it is. To get the benefits from this book, you need to treat it as a workbook and work through as a workbook. For each day, the author provides a number of gratitude statements that you should read and then say, aloud. And then she asks you to add your own gratitude statements. The book is intended to be followed, one day at a time, for thirty one day. If you do follow through, follow along and say the gratitude statements aloud each day and add your own, every day, you will feel more gratitude and appreciation for what you have in your life, no matter the situation you are in. When you focus on positive things, you naturally gravitate to more positive thinking and feelings and energy. This is not magic, it is science, to a certain extent. By looking for reasons to be grateful, we learn to appreciate what we have and notice the things that are good, and we focus less on what we lack or what is missing or bad. There is not much content in the book beyond the gratitude statements each day and some brief instructions, but over all it is a good value for the price. A little bit of editing in the introductions and instructions would have made it better, but the ideas presented are strong and the gratitude statements and guidance are meaningful and helpful.

Not appropriately titled, 31 Days of Gratitude by Shilamida is a small, micro book that wants to inspire a sense of gratitude among the reader. I got interested in this book because of the title and thought there might a new way to remind oneself how grateful one can be.

The motive behind this book is to offer wisdom on the concept of being grateful for things in an individual's life but I found this book to be more of a workbook. After almost, every two or three pages, this book has an exercise where you have to fill in the blanks for the things you are grateful for. This is what put me off and reminded me that why this book is not properly marketed.

2 out of 5! There is not much else to discuss.

31 days of Gratitude: Create the Life you Desire by Shilamida is one of the most exciting self-help books that you can find around and I highly suggest you to buying it, if you need to develop some aspects of your existence, and if you search for...more gratitude.
Gratitude to give, gratitude to receive.
It's a great self-help book, but also a workbook and journal, you mustn't never forget this: the author doesn't want your passivity, while you are reading it, but enthusiastically wants to stimulate you to write down what you feel, going deep in the profundity of your soul for searching the good that there is in yourself. The gratitude you feel.
Writing down your gratitude will be a first step for understand yourself if discomforted by some situations that you are living; if you are discouraged.
Shilamida will be in grade not just to add that spark in your life that you deserve so badly, but also to propose you of discovering by yourself why you should be grateful in this life.
Shilamida examines all the possible areas of your existence where maybe there are problems, shadows, worries offering answers, suggesting of being positive, thinking positive, because there won't be abundance if you complain; there won't be success if you don't believe in yourself, there won't be harmony if you don't live in peace.
Gratitude is important because it is the first step for let you appreciate life, people close to you and your life itself.

Highly recommended.

I thank NetGalley for this ebook.

This tiny book hopes to inspire in us a sense of gratitude.... to the universe, and for many specific things. Although I did connect with it on a certain level, it seemed very repetitious. I enjoyed the time spent thinking about what I’m thankful for. But I didn’t read anything new here.

Thanks to NetGalley and publishers for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
