In an exhilarating story that has the feel of a ‘Beauty and the Beast’ type tale, Saint or Sinner the eighth novel in the Bad Things series, Josephine Saint and the fallen angel Malik wreaks havoc among Las Vegas, heaven and hell and even into the realm of the Fae.

Josephine and Malik are two very strong characters with lots of charisma, attitude and electrical chemistry that easily draws readers into their story and keeps their entire focus until the very end. The relationship is one rocky road with lots of exciting events and sizzling sparks that captures attention and has readers wondering if this couple will have a happily ever after, a super-hot affair or a knock down drag out fight at any given moment. And that is not to mention the issues and abilities that both characters have that makes them likeable, memorable and in some instances a bit remarkable. Josephine and Malik could set the pages on fire with their passion and enthusiasm for each other and their missions.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on the edge of their seat with lots of thrills, intrigue and surprising twists that no one sees coming including the characters themselves. The past throws a couple of wrenches into the present and with Luke and Leo adding their own brand of tension and fire on an already intense series of events, there is no way for anyone to have a dull moment, in fact, I would say that the excitement never ends in this story.

Bad Things is one series with lots of unsuspecting and unique twists that ensures that every story is fun, interesting and packed full of a whole of enjoyment. Then there are the fascinating characters that add unique elements as well as ensuring that I can never get enough of them, so I can’t wait to read the next one.

Saint or Sinner is a wonderfully written supernatural romance, with vampires, werewolves, angels, witches and fey, mix with kick a** vampire assassin Josephine and you have a story full of action and wonder. Josephine is sent by the devil to bring back Malik a fallen angel, if she fails to 'persuade' him to return she is to kill him, doing this would free Josephine from her servitude to the devil.
Malik has been watching over Josephine for centuries and has fallen hard for her. Their interaction is thrilling, funny tender and passionate...very passionate! Both are hiding secrets from each other so have a lot to work through.
A great read.....brilliant.
My thanks to net galley and publisher for opportunity to review this book.

Everyone knows if Josephine Saint is looking for you, you better hide. Many years ago Josephine made a pact with Luke who was the ruler of the dark at the time. Every ten years she must hunt and kill someone of Luke's choosing. On her last mission and for the first time ever, Luke wants Josephine to retrieve someone alive.

Malik is a fallen angel and Josephine's next target. Angels are not meant to stay on earth. When they do, they begin to change into something dangerous. Josephine needs to bring Malik to Luke within 48 hours or it will be too late to send Malik back and she will have no choice but to kill him. What Luke fails to tell Josephine is that Malik has an obsession and that obsession is her.

I don't think I can say enough about how much I am enjoying this series. Based off titles and description you might think this is a dark series. It's actually on a low scale of dark. There is violence but no cheating or mistreatment between the main characters. In fact, the heroes are pretty protective of the heroines and display jealousy and possessiveness.

There are returning characters in each book but I think the author does a good job of making each one able to stand on their own. I'm looking forward to the next one in the series. ARC provided by NetGalley.

Such a great love story! Malik is every girls dream. He’s an angel willing to move heaven and Earth for the woman he loves. This book has great characters, an inventive plot, action and romance. I devoured this book in a day. I hope there will be another book in this series.

Saint or Sinner is the eighth novel in Cynthia Eden’s Bad Things series featuring badass vampire Josephine and fallen angel Malik. Being a long-time huge fan of both author and this series especially, I’ve had really high hopes for this book and I must say, Cynthia Eden has once again exceeded my expectations.

Josephine has had centuries of experience being a skilled vampire assassin, courtesy of a deal she made with the devil and all she needs is to fulfil her last mission before she is finally free. However her task of finding a fallen angel isn’t as easy it had seemed, especially when said angel is hell bent on making Josephine his. Malik has watched over Josephine for centuries and now that he’s fallen, he is changing into something dark and deadly, threatening to wreak havoc and tear the world apart. Too bad the one woman who can perhaps keep him sane is the very same one hunting him.

Their chemistry is explosive and I especially love Malik’s possessive and protective alpha male moments. It was really fun watching Josephine’s feelings for Malik develop and there’s definitely many “aww” instances when she makes her own sacrifices to ensure Malik’s wellbeing. That being said, their journey is not an easy one, especially with the deep secrets each of them carry.

Besides the wonderfully written romance, the plot progresses with a perfect blend of action and suspenseful moments with Cynthia Eden’s trademark twists that will definitely leave you on the edge of your seats. I also really enjoyed the different realm for a change and the cameos by Luke and Leo as well as Valerie and Griffin. Saint and Sinner is unquestionably one of my 2018 favourites (together with Wicked and Wild of course) and I can’t wait for the next instalment of the Bad Things series.

Malik really doesn't like others touching what's his, “you figured wrong, Larry.” Terror flashed on Lawrence’s face. “No one hurts my vampire,” Malik growled. No one." Malik really sees no fault in his woman, "but you can always touch me, my Josephine. I like having your hands on me." Malik is a jealous man, "the ***l she would bite another. “No.” His denial came out as a dark, hard rumble. “You drink from me. Only me.” This is actuallymy favorite series by Cynthia I love these characters I love catching up with old ones and meeting the new ones.
