The Rancher's Fake Fiancee by Amy Vastine is a great read. I loved this visit with the Blackwell Brother's. Tyler and Hadley enter into a fake arrangement for mutual beneficial reasons. Yet somehow along the way the feelings grew real. I absolutely adored this but it could be because I adore the Blackwell Clan.

Main characters Tyler (another brother and twin to Chase) and Hadley (Tyler’s work assistant and pretend fiancee) travel to the Montana ranch to help with an advertising plan as the brothers decide whether to sell or keep the ranch. No one knows what has happened to Big E, especially after his latest ex-wife shows up back into town.

I loved the character Hadley and how fast she blended in with the family and how she tried to help the brothers see what a blessing and asset the ranch can be to them.

I have really enjoyed the character development in this series since the brothers, couples, and towns people are all mentioned in every book so readers can continue to find out about their lives and romances. I can’t wait to read the final book (book #5) in this series and hope to find out what has happened to Big E and the final decision about the Ranch.

I enjoyed this one. Loved both Tyler & Hadley. They had to learn some truths to reach their HEA and while, it was a bit "insta" love type romance for me as they said their ILY's when it was only a week they were together, I still liked it nonetheless.

A fast paced, beautiful story of finding love when you least expect it! A new to me author and one I won't miss again! Four stars worthy and highest of recommendations to all book lovers.

Life for the all work no play Tyler Blackwell just got complicated. You see his business partner of five years, in advertising, is requiring he take a two-week vacation. The staff needs a break from him.

Tyler doesn’t know what it means to have normal business hours or boundaries. While his partner was away he sent thirty plus email after business hours well into the wee hours of the morning. Kellen, when they started, was gun ho but now he is enjoying the fruits of their labor. Not Tyler.

At the same time, Tyler was getting endless phone calls from three of his brothers from the family ranch in Montana. Letting him know it was urgent that he come home. After three months, of no returned calls it had hit emergency status and they were taking a subpoena out if they had to.

Hedley one of the nine employees who are not afraid to tell Tyler anything or his growl tells him to call his brothers. Before his employees decide to do a strike because they are all fielding his calls. Because his family had resorted to calling them and his brothers knew his staff better than him now.

When he finally does call he lies and tries to say that he can’t come due to all the work obligations and his pending wedding plans to Hedley. She gasps when he says that. When he gets off the phone he explains that he’s going and he needs her to go with because he couldn’t be progressed enough to have a fiancé or a wife like all his siblings so he just used her name.

He said he would give her anything if she would go with him. She says yes for the promotion that should have been hers in the first place as the lead brand strategist. She not happy doing this to his family but if it gets her the title and pays for the job she is already doing on top of her own job, well…

He convinces Hellen that she needs to go do research on a client in person for the two weeks and Kellen agrees. Things are freeing at the ranch when it is just the two of them in between doing the marketing, branding, and selling of the ranch. Good memories surface along with those that have kept Tyler frozen and so far away from the ranch.

Hadley though has this way of challenging Ty yet, not pushing him to help him walk. Little by little through some of those feelings. Now the issue with his brothers not as easy. Keeping the secret from them is even harder since they are ruthless with questions and totally not trusting like Ty.

Hadley had her work cut out for her. The first kiss from Ty as a reward at his brother’s house when they were there for dinner the first night undid her. New rule: NO KISSING. Gives her mixed messages. It’s to mainly keep her in check. She surmises by the looks since he doesn’t seem to react. Not knowing he loved it.

This is a funny and yet heart-breaking piece about a family who had fallen apart after the death of their parents. With only an unqualified grandfather to raise five young rambunctious growing boys who most needed love and his attention. Not four new step grandmothers each worse than the next. Coming away with issues of only bad and feeling of hate for not only their family home, the land it was on, but for the man that was their caretaker. It’s never easy to face death but it’s even worse to have to relive it over and over when you never faced it in the first place. Or with those you loved the most. As Ty is learning now. I give this: 5 stars. Provided by netgalley.com.

The Rancher's Fake Fiancee is one of those fun reads. You start it going in knowing there will be a HEA but how they get there is so much fun. I loved taking this trip with these characters. THE RANCHER'S FAKE FIANCEE is part of the Return of the Blackwell Brothers series and while it can be read as a stand alone I do feel like you'll better understand these characters and their situations if you read the series in order. The story is fast paced, well written, and engaging. The characters are well developed, realistic and just plan fun. I so want to visit the Blackwell Ranch! Fans of the heartwarming line knows that these stories are always "sweet" in nature and very entertaining. I recommend you pick up this story today and be prepared to buy the whole series!

Falcon Creek, Montana – The Present

Tyler Blackwell’s brothers Ethan, Jon, and Ben have been contacting his office with hundreds of telephone calls. His assistant, Hadley Sullivan, is infuriated that Tyler hasn’t answered any of them. He has also been working far beyond overtime, and his employees are also upset with him. His partner in 2K Marketing, Kellen, tells him he has to take a vacation. His lawyer brother Ben calls Hadley and tells her Tyler will be served with a subpoena if he doesn’t come home. Tyler inveigles Hadley to go to the Blackwell Family Ranch in Montana as his fiancée, promising her the position of brand strategist that Kellen had given to his inept nephew, whose work Hadley already does. She agrees. On the ranch with its awe-inspiring views, Tyler works on a marketing plan to sell the ranch as Jon and Ben want. Hadley works with Ethan to come up with winning strategies to create a profitable guest ranch.

Tyler feels like he is the ‘unseen’ child in his family, the ignored and unloved one. He knows each of his parents, who died in an accident when he was a child, had one favorite son from among their five boys. So did each grandparent. Tyler believes himself to be the left over, not-good-enough son. He wouldn’t let his brothers see him as a failure in life now, or as a man unable to attract a wife when he knew they had all found their love partners. At least he doesn’t have to face his judgmental and harsh grandfather. ‘Big E’ left the ranch without notice several weeks before Tyler arrived back.

All her mother ever talks about when she calls Hadley is her famous brother. Asher Sullivan is an actor in a popular TV series, and Hadley knows nothing she does compares to his accomplishments. Now he might even win a major award. Just once she would like her parents to notice her for what she has accomplished.

Tyler and Hadley will both endure conflict, doubt, and guilt over their lies while an unsought and impossible attraction between boss and employee develops. A major clash will confront the two, and the question emerges how can they repair such a broken, unsought, and problem-plagued relationship.

Each of the five books in the series are by different authors and I’ve already reviewed the third and fifth volumes. All the characters’ personalities remain consistent throughout the stories I’ve read, and each author has developed beguiling plots sure to engage readers.
