4 But I don’t know better Stars
Our main character still suffers from very low self-esteem and is trampled on dramatically in this book and she just rolls over and takes it. This book really makes you ensure you hate her daughter Abby and if it was my daughter she would be getting some spankings and sent to reform school. This book was FILLED with plot twists so much so it gave me a bit of whiplash. I don’t think I need the amount of twists that was given. I think the final plot twist was a bit too easy but after the amount I survived to get to it I think it was worth it because I have an angst hangover
But the book is original and it reads really well. You grew so much is this duet with these characters but I wish the characters grew as well. None of our characters were without sin.
I hated most of the characters in almost a high five to the author way they were all completely horrible and all deserved misery

I enjoyed this far more than Book 1 (and I really enjoyed that!). The story follows Brian and Jane through some lifechanging events and keeps the reader guessing until the very end. A great conclusion to a compelling read, highly recommended.

I also received an ARC from NetGalley and I can say this was just as good as book 1. I read it a few weeks ago and forgot to review it. Sorry. This is a really good series. (well, 2 books might not constitute a series) but I LOVED THEM! storyline completely believable and I just loved the characters.

I read the first book in this duet, and gave it what I felt was 5 well-deserved stars. Then I read the conclusion of the story. I wish I could take back one of those stars, because while Young Enough is very good, Old Enough is truly worth of a 5 star review.
Have you seen The Pursuit of Happyness? or Pearl Harbor? or Saving Private Ryan? You know that moment when it just seems like the main character/s get no relief from all of the bad things that are happening? There are times in Old Enough when it feels just like that. It gets pretty heavy, but it sure keeps your interest because you want to see if Jane and Brian overcome.
I can't say enough about this set of books. They are well-written, and sexy, and interesting, and keep you on the edge of your seat. They delve a bit into some proclivities that I haven't read too much in other books, and I felt that it was really well done.
This is the first time I've read a story that takes place in South Africa. Often, the author uses words or phrases that we don't usually use, and it takes me out of the story briefly. But reading about a different culture made it worth it.

This book is 5 ++++ incredible Stars !! Combined with Old Enough together they are 10 Star reads & make by favorite list of 2018
I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
This is book two in The Age Between Us series so you do need to read Old Enough before reading this book....
Some spoilers so I can elaborate on the storyline ....
In Young Enough we find Jane facing more losses- she is struggling to keep things amicable in her divorce but she looses her home to her ex & his ready made family with a baby on the way - her daughter has chosen to live with her Dad & one really big issue is her daughter wrongfully accusing Brian of molesting her ..... I was often thinking how much more is this character going to have to endure....
There is more she looses her job & has to move from the cottage she loves but ultimately & most costly is making the choice to leave Brian as she finds herself making choices that seem best for her daughter but necessarily for her ....
Brian is devestated he has done things that Jane needs to hopefully forgive him for - but nothing will change the love he feels for her .....
I am not sure I can do justice to how this series touched me & that is due in part to this extremely talented author - I actually felt such heartache for both characters !
There is a HEA but there are plenty of plot twists before you get there ... I am so proud of Jane who chose to move away to find herself again - change a career doing something she loved & in finding a way to foregive Brian found her true love again.
Excellent books do not miss this series !! This is the best “age difference romance I have ever read - & it’s really refreshing that the male chacter is younger!! These books do not disappoint in any facet of an awesome romance ❤️ Great characters ❤️ sizzling sexy chemistry ❤️ Very well written storyline & plot !!!!!
Happy reading & I also suggest adding Charmaine Pauls to your TBR author list

So many unexpected twists and turns that I couldn't put it down!! This is my genre all the way and this was, without a doubt, one of the most well-written and well thought out story lines I have read. Sexy and suspenseful and so intense!! 5 starts all the way!

Again .. perfection for me. This duet is one of my top reads for 2018. The story was super sexy and erotic but it was also more than just a romance journey. It was a growth journey and Charmaine Pauls executed it perfectly! Well done.

I thought Jane and Brian had a tough time in book 1, I was so wrong. All the angst, injustice and betrayal that I can and cannot think of had happened in book 2. I was so heart-broken for Jane. She has been through hell; her life was filled with betrayal and abused from everyone in her life. No wonder she was so accepting in any injustice that was handed to her. Brian has also been through a lot in his short life. I admired how he dealt with his misfortunate positively and became the man he was. Things were happening and building so fast to a point I had no idea how anyone could come out unscathed. I was immensely invested in the story and I didn’t even realized that I was holding my breath while reading. Charmaine did an excellent job in wrapping everything up so expertly and realistically.
I truly loved and enjoyed this well-written and plotted age-gap romance. It’s gut-wrenching and angst yet sweet and heartwarming. I urge everyone to give this beautiful story a chance and read it with an open mind.

Good book. I enjoyed both in the series. Charmaine is an exceptional author who weaves a wonderful story.

In true Charmaine Pauls fashion, she pulled the rug right out from under us with this one!
I think I’m still recovering! Just when you think you had it all worked out.. Think again!
Hooked me from start to finish, and still has its hooks in me now, not willing to let go!
I can’t wait to see what’s next from this author. Her writing and stories grow from strength to strength, even when you think it’s no possible!!
**copy received via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**

Wow, this book did not disapoint at all. It was full of tension, revenge, betrayal and love. Such a good read and I’m now sad the series is over. Will explore the authors other books now.

I have never been so grateful to receive a free copy of a book in exchange for an honest review.
This is a two book series that needs to be read in sequence. I thought the first book was great, but I was frustrated that I had to wait for the sequel.
Hiwever it was worth the wait. The plot was fantastic, and I am going on three hours of sleep, because I just couldn't put the book down. There were several plot twists that were clevery introduced.
I seriously can't say enough good things about this series and Charmaine Pauls. I've been searching for this kind of book for eons and it was well worth the wait.
I would definitely buy this book for friends and family, and I can't wait to see what comes next for this author!

I can't even tell you how much this book will age you. The stress, strain, and crazed situations will give you grey hairs and possibly a heart condition.
Young Enough gives you hope but man do you have to hold on with both hands kicking and screaming. Charmaine Pauls does not, I repeat does not, take it easy on the reader. This isn't a slightly bumpy road this is a freaking volcano dumped in the middle of your backyard. It's rough and you can't run from it. You will be burned. Your only saving grace is if you catch the warning signals.

The conclusion to the 'The Age Between Us' series that I have been anxiously waiting for. Brian and Jane's taboo relationship is out in the open and everyone in their life has an opinion, mostly negative. Will their love conquer these obstacles or will someone succeed in tearing their relationship apart?
I really loved this duet, but I have some grievances to share about Jane and Brian. First of all, this story completely changed my love for Brian. He has went from sweet (but dirty) to wicked in a heartbeat. His obsession with Jane completely changes the sweet Brian that we meet in the first book into a devious Brian that is willing to take dangerous risk that ultimately hurts someone he loves the most.
Now Jane is still the strongest, but also the most abused character that I have ever read about. The things she goes through is too much for one person to bear. Does Brian deserve her love and absolution? I'm not so sure.
I received a free copy of this book for my honest review.

This bittersweet duet will be hard to forget because Jane and Brian's attraction to one another is undeniable from the very beginning, their chemistry explosive, which only intensifies in this concluding book. Such an emotional journey of passion, drama, love, pain, betrayal, loss, loyally and ultimately growth with memorable secondary characters too. Young Enough was an absolutely beautiful, heartfelt book. A real rollercoaster of ride, that I TRULY, MADLY, DEEPLY LOVED. I'm REALLY going to miss this verse, these characters so much. Definitely one of my all-time favourites.

Amazing book! I couldn’t read fast enough to see if they would get their happily ever after!! Count me as the author’s number one fan!!

After reading Old Enough I was left with a feeling of satisfaction because the story ended in a good place, with an amazing hook to wait for the next book in this duet, but without the frustration of a cliffhanger. Now that I've read Young Enough I have no doubts left that Charmaine Pauls is a step away from being a genius when it comes to writing these duets.
Jane is a strong woman. I've said it before and I'll say it again. She's one heck of a strong woman. Not only she gets divorced because her husband left her, she moves out of the house, her daughter is going back and forward between the houses, but she also has to deal with being Brian's secret. Mind you, she's not upset she's a secret at first but that can get old pretty fast.
Brian is trying to correct his mistakes and his making a poor job at it. I think this guy should be smack some to see if he can actually wake up. He's a good guy but he made a lot of bad decisions in the past and they all catch up to him at the end. What's worst, they spill over onto Jane.
The ending was so satisfying for me. I know it's an HEA but Jane did what she had to do and she did not give him the easy way in when he came back to her. I love it and the age difference was a phenomenal aspect. I've seen books about older guys with younger woman A LOT, and I've seen a few younger guys with older women but those... the age difference it's minimal. In here Jane has more than 20 years over Brian and LOVE IT.
You can't imagine how many amazing quotes I got from this duet. Just like with Old Enough, this book gave me so many that I could fill a small notebook with them. Well, not THAT many but I swear the little nuggets of wisdom and love that I got were so worth it.
I'm a fan of Charmaine Pauls and now I want to read all of her books, current (that I haven't yet) and future. I would recommend you to dive head first because you won't regret it.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book provided by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are my own.

Jane’s world is still getting blown apart. And the one person she thought had her back has betrayed her. Or has he Brian has known from the beginning that being with Jane was going to be hard. Almost impossible but for him, there is no end to this where he and Jane are not together. Life is destroying Jane piece by piece and Brain can't help her. She no longer trusts him and throws him out of her life. That decision almost cost her her life. Her daughter has moved in with he ex, she lost her job to Brian and she lost her house again. This is the best follow up I did not expect to enjoy it more than the first one but it is fast-paced. Intrigue is everywhere nothing is what it seems and the ending is just unbelievable. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. I read it twice it was that good. And the first time I read it I was afraid I missed something I was reading so fast. All I can say is enjoy the ride.

Young Enough is book Two in the The Age Between Us by Charmaine Pauls. This continues the story of Brian and Jane. I do strongly feel you should read the previous book 'Old Enough' before reading this one. f
Jane has suffered through so much. Jane was a strong women that did have weak moments as anyone would in her shoes. Although Brian was young in physical age he was a older sole who had to fight to get what he wanted. For so much of their difference there so much that they were as one.
Really enjoyed reading their story.

This is the follow up to Jane and Brian's story from the first book. I felt so many emotions while reading this book. The twists and turns just keep coming in this story. How will Jane and Brian deal with the judgment, secrets, and lies without losing their relationship? A stunning conclusion to the duet.
I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.
