If you like sewing or just want to see how crafty you are this book is for you. There are several sewing projects with step by step directions and pictures of the finished project in this book. There are projects for everyone from beginners to Old Pro's. These projects will make great items to set around your house or even to give as gifts. There are patterns for every projects. The instructions are easy to follow and the pictures are awesome.

Another fun and interesting craft book from Tone Finnanger. Love her use of whimsical fabrics and patterns. With a wide range from quilts to little birds there are plenty to see and do here. I have made some of the apples and small squash, now I want to make a bowl to put them in. Fun book, and one I highly recommend.

Tilda’s Hot Chocolate Sewing is the perfect book to get ready to sew for Fall. This charming book has twenty projects with patterns for quilts, a stuffed doll and stuffed animals, bags, bracelets and bowls, plus others. The photographs are enticing as are the presentations for different areas of one’s home from Entrance to Living Room, Kitchen, Bedroom and Playroom. All materials needed are included along with fabric requirements, diagrams and creative ideas. There is something for everyone here. I highly recommend this book for sewers of all skill levels.

Tilda Hot Chocolate Sewing is a new quilting and decor book by Tone Finnanger published by F+W Media. Due out 11 Sept, 2018, it's 144 pages packed full of small and large sewing and quilting projects. I have loved Tilda's coordinated fabrics and whimsical design aesthetic for a long time, but one thing that struck me about this book in particular was the attention to detail and exquisite finishing and quilting. The projects are all beautiful, and the coordinating fabrics and well curated room photography show them off at their best, but I can really see most of these being usable and well loved in almost all homes.

The book is set up as a tutorial book, with coordinating projects grouped together. There are small soft furnishing projects (fabric bowls, decor, pillows), along with coordinating large projects (table runners, full sized- and lap-quilts, wall hangings).

One of the really nifty things about the Tilda books is that they showcase a coordinating fabric collection along with well designed and curated items which fit together well and produce beautiful results. If one wishes to have exactly what's pictured in the book, it's possible by acquiring the pictured fabrics, but it's not a requirement of course, and the tutorials serve very well as a 'jumping off' point to whet the reader's creativity.

One other super nice feature in this book particularly is the quilting on the projects. Really perfect and top notch; the quilting enhances and supports the designs without completely stealing the show. Gorgeous!

Absolutely love all of Tone Finnanger's books, this one certainly does not disappoint, but reaches a higher level with the wonderful modern items and fabulous Tilda fabric. There are quilts, some traditional with a twist and others just novel, such as the coffee cup design and the very intriguing deer quilt. There are soft toys and other household and personal items, but for me, I just could not go past the three soft ducks, they are just adorable and I'm going to make some!! Take a look the book will not disappoint.

This was an enjoyable and easy to follow sewing guide. Lots of interesting ideas and a variety of projects to suit all.

This book is my all time favorite sewing book year to date as of now! This book is packed full of beautiful patterns like stuffed animals, dolls, quilts, bags, and more! I had a hard time picking a few pictures from the book of some of my favorite items lol. I am a beginner sewer and I want to make just about everything out of here! My oldest daughter is taking Quilting for the 2019 and we might use something out of this book for her project. Please enjoy the pictures I am about to share with you and I hope you enjoy them as much as I have!

Tilda Hot Chocolate Sewing is a very well-rounded collection of decor patterns to sew with some nice offerings at various skill levels. Included within are patterns for several very sweet stuffed toys, a few quilts, a tote bag, toiletry bags, and quite a few whimsical little items that would be very quick to put together. There are quite a few suggestions for making some of the items more practical (e.g. some of the small stuffed items would make good pin cushions), and tips for using little scraps of fabric in crafty ways requiring no sewing at all.

This would be a great addition to any sewing shelf. Strongly recommend!

Another charming book from Tone Finnanger! This one has winter-themed projects, ranging from small and simple ones such as patchwork coasters, baskets and bracelets, to stuffed birds, geese, ducks and fruit, to the most gorgeous quilts with wintery designs. There is certainly something for sewers of all levels. The sweet tiny reindeer and mouse toys would make the most adorable Christmas gifts .... better start sewing!

The only way to describe this book is breathtaking. I loved each and every beautiful project and can’t wait to try some out!

The photographs which go with each project are truly inspiring and I was itching to get some free time to buy fabric and start a project.

The patterns and instructions are clear and comprehensive with the cute Little Bird being one of my favourites.

This is a book every craft enthusiast should purchase . A book I shall go to again and again !! Loved it !!

I am very pleased to receive this review copy of Tone's new book..
As with her past books, this one has certainly exceeded my expectations, Full of over 20 projects, which include so ideas for upcoming autumn such as: a baby reindeer, a mouse, a rag doll, pears and apples, coasters, delicate mugs and bowls, bracelets, quilts, bags, ducks and birds. The little birds are just so adorable, and with Tone's great knack for easy pattern writing, I am eager to sit down and get started on my first project out of the book.
The projects are all made using Tone's Bird Pond fabric collection, which is so sweet and very "Tilda". But any fabric design would make up these projects just a beautifully.

With great pattern design and instructions, I give this book a 100% for quality and quantity and look forward to using it many times in the future.

I only wish my home was filled with these beautiful furnishings. The projects in this book are simple to follow and I’m itching to make a start with the Little Bird pin cushion. There are a number of beautiful project to make with patterns included.

It's great for everyone who enjoyed previous books like 'Tilda Toy Box' or 'Sunshine Sewing'. You don't need to be great at sewing to make these projects. The book if full of ideas for upcoming autumn such as: a baby reindeer, a mouse, a rag doll, pears and apples, coasters, delicate mugs and bowls, bracelets, quilts, bags, ducks and birds. It's one of the most fun books by Finnanger. Worth every penny. I strongly recommend it!
