Such a fund read, if my aunt was 40 years younger, this would be her. A light, quick, well done read, definitely looking forward to more.

Witchnapped is such a fun read! I loved the mystery involved and especially loved the crazy stalker witch ! I am definitely going to continue reading the story series because it’s an easy fun read with that bit of mystery ! I was able to finish reading this is just a few hours and I could picture England just like I was there beside them, taking picture after picture of those amazing Tudor buildings !

Lily is a young photographer who's turning 24, and she's about to discover a family secret when she's asked to help look for her missing brother.

I found the story light and fun. It's quite short, it can be read in one sitting and it doesn't dissapoint. The characters are well depicted, and the plot is quite straightforward. It serves its purpose as an introduction to a series, and I'd like to see where he author plans to take Lily and James (and William, btw).

I got this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

Amateur sleuth mystery books are my go to so I was super amped when I read this synopsis and got approved for the galley as it is one of my all time favorite genres BUT throughout most of this book I was just like WHY??? Lily was depicted way too immature for a 24 year old. Rolled my eyes through most of her ‘angry’ dialogue. That being said, I still couldn’t put the book (ebook) down. It was a fun lighthearted (short!) read with a paranormal twist. Can’t wait for more in this series as long as Lily grows up a bit. I also feel like because it was a short book everything happened super quickly even though I loved the shortness of it. Despite all these quirks, I’ll still give it 4 stars from the premise alone.

Also, I know these are uncorrected proof copies but I still really hope it runs through an editor again, Spotted some grammar issues.

I received a free copy of Witchnapped in Westerham (Paranormal Investigation Bureau Book 1) by Dionne Lister in exchange for an honest review. Australian Lily Bianchi’s birthday was a bust. Lily spent the day photographing a wedding for a domineering Bridezilla; the only highlight was a cash bonus from the bride’s father. Lily was then too exhausted to celebrate with friends, and Lily’s brother, James, totally forgot to even call or text. The next day, a stranger showed up and announced that Lily’s brother did not call because he had been attacked and was missing. Also, surprise, Lily and her brother are witches! The stranger convinces Lily to travel with her to England to assist in locating her brother. However, almost as soon as Lily arrives in the country, she is hunted and persecuted by the very people who are supposed to be helping her find her brother.

This was a cute book. It was a quick and entertaining read.

What a fun book. Lily is a great character, she's just learned that her brother has been kidnapped, and that they're witches. She needs to go to London to help find him. Of course the evil is closer than you think, but she conquers all with the help of her sister-in-law, and some new friends. I'll be waiting for the next book to come out. #WitchnappedInWesterham #NetGalley

This is a poorly written book without enough editorial oversight. It reads like a first draft. I don’t think this story is ready for publication.
