Until We're More was such an enjoyable read. It's one of those books that makes you just want to cuddle up on the couch and read from start to finish. The characters are intriguing and you will quickly find yourself wrapped up in their banter, their deep friendship, and their attraction to one another.

Chelsea and Liam are best friends and have been for so long. Chelsea is back in town and Liam is in a place in his career where he needs to remain focuses, he doesn't need distractions like his best friend moving in with him. Then again sometimes the distractions we need the most are the ones we shouldn't have. Until We're More is the second book in the Fighting For Her series but can be read as a standalone. This is definitely a read you don't want to miss.

Can we get to the More already?

I admit it, I’m a wee bit of an impatient reader. There was a smile at the end of reading Until We’re More, and I’m happy that it all worked out hunky dory in the end. I just don’t want to wait at least half a book for things to happen. Sure, I don’t want the *I LOVE YOU* after the first meeting or hookup. But, please, don’t make me watch him contemplate a hookup to get her out of his head. Or, see her date someone else because she’s convinced he can’t look at her as anything more than a platonic friend. All the while admitting to themselves that they want More...

There was this selfish immaturity that made it hard for me to identify the age of the main characters. Chelsea is young (I’m guessing) and new in the marketing world but already thinks she should be entitled to a managerial position. Her personality alone doesn’t help her cause as she’s easily manipulated and weak at standing up for herself. She decides she needs some coaching to be stronger and with a few chats with friends…voila…she’s confident. A meeting, some steely eye-holding and one forceful speech, she’s on her way to success.

(Please give me a moment for my eyes to stop rolling...)

Then we have Liam and his quest to win a championship MMA belt. He’s completely convinced that winning will solve ALL the problems in his world. Chelsea is a distraction that he just can’t do right now, so he must push away the feelings and need for her to be in his orbit. All along I felt like Liam just needed to step back from the picture and look at everything. It wouldn’t have taken him as long as it did to work out Chelsea made him happier. As Liam's brother pointed out, he can't fight without a heart.

I would have liked Until We’re More a lot more if it didn’t take these knuckleheads more than half the book to admit to their feelings. It wasn’t like they were teenagers (I’m guessing) and navigating their first romances, they were adults (I’m guessing) and had some (admittedly, only a little) experience.

This was my first story by Cindi Madsen and it wasn’t bad. Yes, I’m not a fan of the drawn-out start to a relationship but I know a lot of other readers thrive on the angst. Don’t judge by my review alone, you may find out that Until We’re More is the perfect angsty love story for you. I’m sure there are plenty of readers who will love meeting the hot fighter and his sweet and nerdy book-lover.

Book 2 in the Fighting for Her series, Until We're More is a friend to lovers romance. Liam and Chelsea are great characters and the interaction is engaging. This is my first read by this author and I only wish I had realised it was book 2 but alas it means I get hopefully another fabulous read when I read book 1 in the series

This is a must read for anyone who enjoys contemporary romances where the couple have been best friends and daren’t spoil that relationship despite being secretly attracted to each other. In this story, the couple grew up as neighbours, went to school together and he’s always been protective of her. He’s a MMA fighter training to win an important competition and needs no distractions. They’re best friends. She’s returning after moving away to work - and to get away from the pressure and demands of living with her family. Will they feel any different after the time apart? Will time have put a dampener on their potential romance or will absence make their hearts grow fonder? Can they spend time exploring the possibilities or will training, her new job role and family demands force them apart?

This is a lovely, sweet friends to more romance with plenty of angst and turmoil en route as both characters value their friendship and are wary of spoiling it by becoming more. The characters are brilliantly portrayed as is both their personal and relationship development. There’s plenty of angst and turmoil as these two are so determined not to ruin their friendship by acknowledging their feelings for each other. It is told from their alternating points of view so it is easy to relate to how each of the main characters are feeling and what they are experiencing. There are laugh out loud moments, parts where you feel like figuratively shaking them in frustration and other swoon worthy incidents. It is another great read by this talented author.

I requested and was given a copy of this book, via NetGalley. This is my honest review of the book after choosing to read it.

4 1/2 Stars

Chelsea and Liam have been best friends ever since she moved in next door to him when they were teenagers. But now she lives in Denver to pursue her dream career, get away from her leaching mother and to get over the crush she has on Liam. But when she returns home for a 6 week job to train new employees for her company, instead of moving in with her mother, Liam talks her into moving in with him. She knows moving in with him will eventually break her heart because she knows he doesn't feel the same way about her that she does about him.

The last time Liam let a distraction get in the way of his winning a MMA fight, he lost and it took him a long time to come back. He knows he shouldn't have asked Chelsea to move in with him while she's home for the 6 weeks, but the words were out of his mouth before he knew it. And once again, she becomes a distraction he doesn't need right before a big fight.

This is just one of those feel good books. Liam is the kinda guy everyone wants to be with. He's kind, hot, sweet ... did I mention HOT! And I couldn't help but fall in love with Chelsea ... she just wanted to be loved by someone. This book made me swoon, laugh and down right feel good. And the sex scenes ... absolutely no words. Not only do I recommend this book, but you also have to read the first book - Brooklyn and Shane's book.

4.5 Stars

new I would love this one just based on what we see of Liam in the first book. Brooding, stubborn and snarky --all of those traits worse since his 'best friend" Chelsea moved to Colorado. This book picks up with Chelsea having moved back home temporarily to help set up a new branch for the company she works for.

The have both agreed to friend zone but neither Liam or Chelsea really feels that deep down. Best friends to lovers is one of the best tropes and this one is no different. Loved their inner monologues as well as the back and forth ease between the two. Great humor and touching moments between them. Great to see Liam's family and more of the fighters in the gym as well.

Great read!

Chelsea has had feelings for her best friend, Liam, for quite some time. She went as far as to move away and take a job in another state to get over him. Unfortunately, that hasn't worked out so well. When Chelsea learns there is a job opening back home, she decides to take a chance on it. What will Liam think when she tells him that she may be moving back for good?

Liam loves Chelsea. They have been best friends since they were twelve. Liam is ecstatic to have her back home, but the more time he spends around her, the more that friendship starts to change into something else. Liam has got a gym to run and a lot is running on his upcoming MMA fight. He doesn't need any distractions, but Chelsea cannot be ignored. What's a guy to do?

***SPOILERS***
I give author Cindi Madsen's UNTIL WE'RE MORE a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars! Honestly, it was very close to a 5 for me. UNTIL WE'RE MORE had me in it's grip from page one. I am a huge fan of the friends falling for each other theme. There's always this line you don't want to cross because it could change things, but you just never know unless you're gutsy enough to take the leap. Chelsea really comes out of her shell around Liam and things really start to heat up when she gets more assertive. She finally pushes Liam over the edge when she enters the cage as a ring girl. Talk about an explosive reaction! Although the HOT factor is a 10, I cannot leave out the funny factor. Chelsea's cat, George, steals some of the scenes with his snarkiness and feline sass. I loved the interaction between George and Liam as much as I loved the interaction between Chelsea and Liam. Just two guys trying to share their girl! I cannot wait to read Ms. Madsen's next novel.

As a sucker for romance and hot stuff (I mean: look at the cover), I requested the arc from Cindi Madsen. The story of Liam and Chelsea turning from friends to lovers is a cute one. And did a mention hot and steamy?
Liam and Chelsea have been growing up together as neighbours. With Chelsea having a very troubled family, she spend a lot of time at Liam's home.
Liam, the ever grouchy and gruff hot guy, doesn't do emotions. Or so he thinks. But beneath all that grumpy exterior is a very loving guy with a heart of gold. When Chelsea had the chance to get a nice job at another part of the country, he urged her to go. Not because he wanted to see her leave, but because he wanted her to have a life far away from her family. After she left, he realized just how much he missed her. When an assignment brings her back in her hometown for a few weeks, he offers her his place to stay.
The tension between both of them is off the charts. They try to stick in the just-friends-zone... While the rest of their friends see the sparks flying, they stay in denial. Just how long will it last until they are more???
Find out for yourself in this funny and heartwarming story. Three and a half star from me and a thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Let me start by saying; This book was so incredibly sweet, funny, romantic, heart-warming - don't forget SEXY AF - and ADDICTIVE. The friends-to-lovers trope is so well written and developed and combined with these amazing main characters, minor characters and the awesome writing this was just a really fantastic read! I didn't really know what to expect though, but right from that very first page I just had this feeling you know? That feeling that means that this book is going to be a huge HIT. And that feeling turned out to be right.

Character Talk
Chelsea was such a recognizable character I think and I loved her character development so incredibly much in this book! It was truly amazing! I loved how she was struggling about being more assertive at the beginning of the book on different levels - it's definitely something I connected over about this character - and then seeing how she progressed during the book, was just a really beautiful development I think.

I love her cat, George, and especially his relationship with Liam, because that was sooo much fun to read about haha!! Liam felt like he had a competitor in George when it comes to Chelsea love and attention and that made for the best scenes I think!

and Liam. where to start? Be still, my beating heart, sigh. He is a-ma-zing, just a-maaaaa-zing. It's so frigging obvious that he has loved Chelsea for quite a while now and when she gets back into his life after being away for a while, the truth of it hits him so hard and he's struggling because he doesn't want her to get involved in his intense lifestyle. He doesn't want to end up like his mom and dad who made each other miserable because they couldn't handle the MMA-fighter life-style. But boy, did I love seeing this MMA-fighter with this beautiful loving heart, getting riled up when it came to him fighting his attraction and trying to not act upon it. I just loved how obvious his love was for Chelsea. It showed in EVERYTHING he said and did and those are the kinds of love that last forever and make my heart explode with feels. Doesn't mean he doesn't screw up though because just as Chelsea, he can be a stubborn mule and it doesn't always work in their favor.

Romance Talk
But really, this friends-to-lovers-romance was such a joy to read. It felt so palpable and real. These characters are just amazing and I loved how realistic they felt and their relationship and developments. This romance is going to make you swoon, struggle, laugh, cry and fall in love. You're hooked before you know it and the emotion-train won't stop anymore once you become part of it.

Minor Remark
I only felt, at the first 40% or so in, that the story and relationship progress dragged on a bit though. These two, despite their efforts of being assertive in real life, remained so closed off to one another about their feels and I just wanted them to be open about it and ACT a bit sooner haha. Maybe it's something more readers will experience or maybe it was just me being greedy, lol, because the pent-up chemistry and sexual attraction were slowly killing me - in a good way of course ;).

Conclusion
I had such a wonderful time reading this book, experiencing ALL THE FEELS from beginning till end. It made me laugh so many times, it made me swoon, it made me tear up, it made me achy and needy and I was just addicted to this story right from the very first page and I'm really sad it had to end. I loooved reading about this sexy MMA-fighter and his best friend the booknerd a.k.a Chelsea. I can't wait to go back and read the first book in the series and to also read the books that are yet to come! This is definitely a series I'll be purchasing in printed editions so I can get them signed next year!!

A compelling novel showing the benefits of a relationship based on log term friendship and trust. Liam and Chelsea built a solid friendship and when it crossed the line into lovers they had less issues to deal with. Chelsea’s inner monologues were a fascinating part of getting know her character and was a great tool to be used by the author.

I haven't had such a good time reading a romance in a long time. Snark, spark, history, lust, and true friendship between two fantastic likable characters makes this story rock. I was cheering on one page, sniffling the next, snorting and spitting my coffee all over on the third. What a ride.

Sexy MMA fighter Liam, is training to get the belt title that will make his business a solid thing when his BFF Chelsea comes back in town for work. Chelsea is a distraction and he needs this belt. Chelsea needs to stay focused too, she's desperate to make it in her field of work and this job might be the way to a promotion. Both need to be a success, both have hormones/feelings/history that mess with their focus. The Chelsea moves in with Liam and brings George. Who is George ? George is the one throwing up on the carpet. Read the book, he's fantastic. Living together makes for some interesting moments. That's all you'll get out of me, read it if you want more.

Thank you NetGalley and publishers for this review copy and an unbiased opinion

I read Until You're Mine by Cindi and really enjoyed it, so I knew I needed to read Until We're More.
I love a great friends to lovers romance.
First off, I loved Chelsea. She was so chatty and just not your typical female. Not all perfection to everyone. Also, I loved Liam. He so broody and quiet. Chelsea returns after being gone 6 months. 6 months of trying to forget how she feels about her best friend. She thinks she's over it and then it's all back full force. Liam is her everything and Chelsea is his. Their time apart has proven this now will they act on it?
I loved the cat George. I always love those extra funny scenes.
What I love most about this book is it being realistic. They aren't millionaires. They are actually struggling for themselves and their families.
Cindi is definitely a top author for me.

invoking my 24 hour rule before I review. And yes this is a must read. I just have to tone down my desire to use too many expletives. needing a new kindle after I threw mine.
Loved this book. Cindi Madsen you are the best.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Ignore me I was venting. Review below.

Armed and ready. The perfect slow burn that made you want to put your hand right back on that hot stove one more time. I had a serious book hangover after reading this, it pushed every single button I have and some I didn't know I had. The expletives flew like magic carpets around the kitchen as I was finishing the book. Sailing merrily along and someone lets the air of out my tires and I sink right into a pit. Damn I hate that. I want to lop off Liam's private parts, discard and throat punch for good measure. I'm getting ahead of myself.
Chelsea is back from Denver for 6 weeks to help start a new office in San Diego. It's her chance to prove that she can be management material. She has a problem asserting herself. With her history it's pretty obvious why. She's spend the last x number of years mooning over Liam Roth and Liam and Chelsea are best friends since they were kids. Grew up next store to each other. His sister is her best friend. She's part of their family. Liam was always her protector. They really are good friends.
Chelsea wants more. When Liam suggests she stay with him while she's here she agrees abut only if she can help out or pay, he'll hear nothing of the sort. Chelsea cannot cook. She's a smoke alarm away from disaster in the kitchen. Liam is busy helping his brother get ready for a fight and spends a lot of time at the gym. Chelsea brings them all food. Liam is helping her work on her assertiveness as well. Everyone knows that Liam and Chelsea belong together, except Liam. Liam knows but refuses to disrupt their friendship, his dedication to the gym and the family business and he's seen what happens when marriages take a dive, as evidenced by his own parents. Once they get over their little but of uneasiness loving together and the romance heats up it makes 5 minutes inside the cage look like kindergarten. These two are smoking hot. The usual broody Liam is now happy and more easy going. Problem is he thinks about Chelsea all the time. I have to give Liam his due when he keeps Chelsea from running overboard with her mother and even though she does do something, he doesn't throw it in her face, he's there to comfort her. Her mother is one lazy @#$%^&* and the sister is no better and let's just say her family is and always was one big #$%^&*((*%$. EOS. Liam has a little jealous streak, Alex asks for help with PR and that's right up her alley and she is more than happy to help. She is getting better at work and even handles a difficult employee. When she decided she wants to stay in San Diego, she talks to her boss and the boss offers her his job in Denver, which is a huge step up for her, a promotion and all the perks. Something she's been wanting since she left. She needed to prove to herself she could do this. When she comes home to talk to Liam, Liam .. lets just say doesn't respond the way he's been responding the past 6 weeks and Chelsea leaves. She disappears for a few days. This is where I wanted to drop kick Liam. Honestly, I have never read a better jackass written like Cindi pulled off with Liam. Let me add stupid to the jackass part.
So what happens with these two? Good question right? Chelsea will take that job back in Denver? It's her dream come true. Even though she gets another job offer in Cali, does she really want to stay?
This one will light your torch and keep fanning the flame. It's an absolute must read and it's stellar writing as always from Ms Madsen. Could not have been better and it deserves more than 5 stars without a doubt.

Book 2 in the Fighting For Her series and so far I think this one has been my favorite! I loved the friends to lovers romance between Liam and Chelsea, they were incredibly cute together but also the chemistry between them was intense!!

As the blurb says Liam and Chelsea had been friends forever, since they were kids and nothing ever happened between them, despite something always being there, so there are definitely some pent up feelings and sexual attraction going around and ready to burst. Another thing I loved is how different these characters are from each other and yet together they just click. While Liam is broody and serious, almost communicating more with growls than words; Chelsea is nerdy and chatty but they accept themselves and their friendship is great.
Of course both are afraid that acting on their feelings and attractions can hurt their friendship, but this is bound to happpen and I loved reading how the story unfolds.
You can expect some sexiness but also a bit of drama, romance and laughter too. Once again I can't wait to read what comes next!

As soon as I read the last word of Brooklyn and Shane's book, Until You're Mine, I had super grabby hands for Liam and Chelsea's story!!

Liam and Chelsea have been best friends since they were little but couldn't be more different. He's an athlete, she's a book nerd; she's really chatty, he barely talks. When she comes back home for a work assignment, it seems like everything is right in the world. Except there's feelings and the potential to cross a line that shouldn't be crossed. What could go wrong with that?

OMG!!!! I loved Liam and Chelsea so much!! Beck and Lyla from Lucky Number Seven have always been my favorite CM couple but Liam and Chelsea may have just stolen the top spot!! As per usual with this author, I finished the book in one sitting but I never wanted the story to end. I am so in love with this series and I am really looking forward to what comes next!

Liam and Chelsea are best friends who love each other, are attracted towards each other but don’t want to jeopardize their friendship so keep quiet.
But now that Chelsea is living with Liam, she is tired of fighting this attraction all the time and decides to test if Liam is also interested in her or not.
I loved reading Until we’re more. It was funny, sexy, sweet, romantic and oh so cute. I loved Liam and Chelsea and can’t wait to read Liam’s story.

Going into this book, I didn't realize that it was the 2nd book in the series. So, I put this one down for a bit and read book one- Until you're Mine. I am glad I did because I really enjoyed that book- but I will say I don't think you have to read the first book in order to enjoy Until We're More! They can be read as standalones.

I love friends to lovers storyline because it gives the readers so much more connection to the characters and we don't have to deal with the insta-love that some books have! I also loved the slow burn of Liam and Chelsea's relationship.

I would definitely recommend this book to our followers.

Liam and Chelsea have been best friends since they were 12 years old, and it is evident from the very beginning of this book how both of them feel about the other. She is afraid he isn't interested in her like that, and he's afraid they'll ruin their friendship. Watching their relationship unfold is fun and feels very real, and I rooted for them and cheered them both on. Another very enjoyable book from Cindi Madsen with really likable characters. Looking forward to the last book of the series!

Until We're More is an incredible best friends to lovers read. Liam and Chelsea have been friends for years. And if you've read Until You're Mine then you know a little more about Liam and Chelsea going in. Note you don't really need to read the book before but why wouldn't you it is amazing. Anyways Chelsea is back in town for her job and living with Liam. Both are fighting their mutual attraction. Can you see where I'm going with this one. Why yes there is beauty in this one as well as a little angst. Chelsea is so much stronger then anyone gives her credit for. Liam is and amazing MMA fighter and working to get the family business back on track. Once he learns a few thing along the way there will be no stopping Chelsea and Liam. Really this is a sweet yet smoking hot friends to lovers read. I can't wait for more.
