In true Danielle Steel style this book pulls you right into the story . It is a heart warming story that makes you feel all sorts of emotions through out it.
Winnie gives up her dream of college when her mother falls ill and she must care for her. She is passed over for a promotion and shortly after finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her with her best friend. With nothing keeping her she decides to move to England to embark on a new journey.
I received an ARC of the book from Netgalley and the publisher for an honest review.

A quick read that's a bit different from Steel's usual but still fun. Winnie's life has crumbled. Her solace is the show Beauchamp Hall so of course she packs up and travels to the UK! She manages, amazingly, to wind her way onto the set, into the lives of the people who own the Hall, and into a new life. Some of this is completely implausible but that was ok with me because the novel had a positive message and a light tone. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

I like everything Danielle Steel but this book wasn’t what I’d imagined. I’d say it’s not the usual Danielle Steel’s stories I’m used to., though it was entertaining. Fans of Ms. Steel will enjoy this short read.

Thank you Net Galley and Random House Publishing Group for an early copy of Beauchamp Hall. I've read Danielle Steel for many decades and I was expecting a ho-hum book but this was Fascinating. It kept my interest and in her usual way, the Heroine always wins. A Great book all around. Thank you Danielle Steel for writing another blockbuster.

Beauchamp Hall is classic Danielle Steel. I fell in love with Winnie and wanting her to find the love she deserved. I can easily see this book being made in to a movie. If you are a fan on Downton Abbey you will love this book.

I received an ARC of this novel from Netgalley in exchange for my review. OK, I admit that I am a huge fan of Danielle Steel's early works, but the past few years it has felt a bit formulaic and so I stopped reading her books. When Beauchamp Hall came up for selection on Netgalley I thought I'd give it another try, and I'm pleased to say that I really liked this one!

Winona Farmington has always been a woman who takes care of everyone else and puts herself last. She dropped out of college to take care of her mom, she is in a dead end job and a dead end relationship, but she doesn't want to hurt anyone because she is so dependable. But when her love life and job are suddenly in upheaval, she decides that it is time to do what she really wants to do. On a whim, she decides to travel to England to the set of a mini-series that she loves. While she is there, an opportunity arises for her to stay and work on the set. It is time for her to decide if it is her time to do what she wants or will she give it all up to return home to those who need her? I thought this was a really positive story about chasing your dream even if you feel there is no way for them to come true!

Beauchamp Hall by Danielle Steele is another one of her trademark romantic stories with wonderful characters and life changing events.

Winona (Winnie) Farmington, our heroine, has given up her dreams to take care of her dying mother, and now lives in her Michigan home, with a boyfriend and a job that is going nowhere. When her boss passes her over for a promotion, and Winnie finds her boyfriend in bed with her best friend, she decides it’s time to change things in her docile life, and does the unexpected. Winnie had recently discovered the famous UK TV show, Beauchamp Hall (similar to Downton Abbey) and after obsessively watching all the episodes, she makes a rash decision; she quits her job, takes out some of her savings to fly to England and visit the town and the castle where Beauchamp Hall is filmed. Winnie rents a room at a B&B near the castle, and in a short time falls in love with the surrounding village, the people, and manages to get hired for a part time job as an extra for the filming at the Castle.

Winnie finds herself enjoying meeting the cast and crew, as well as the owners (brother and sister) of the castle. Even in the extra job as a gofer, her organizational ability shows, and she eventually gets a full time job working for the female star, as an assistant. She is happy, making friends and has no intention of going home. The pay has improved as an assistant, and just when things are looking up, the show decides not to renew after this current season, as they lost a number of stars to other shows.
Winnie is a wonderful heroine, and I really enjoyed how she began to explore more options using her own talents; and this would lead to a sweet fairy tale ending. It was fun to see Winnie befriend the brother and sister, and work with them to help them keep the Castle afloat with her ideas. It was such a sweet satisfying conclusion as Winnie will fulfill her dreams and find her happy ever after. I really enjoyed Beauchamp Hall, with a wonderful heroine, great secondary characters and the fun to be able to see that dreams can really come true. Once again Danielle Steele gives us an enjoyable read, which I suggest you read.

Always and forever a Danielle Steel fan! Beauchamp Hall is a fantastic story about life at a crossroad. I envy the character and her bravery in following her heart and taking a chance on herself when she thought life had already passed her by. I wish I was that brave! Thanks to Danielle Steele, her publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read Beauchamp Hall!

I have read and enjoyed Danielle Steel’s book for years. This particular story of hers really attracted me because I am a fan of the Downtown Abbey series and also because I love settings in the English countryside. I thoroughly enjoyed Beauchamp Hall! It was filled with charm and kept me engaged throughout. I vicariously followed the heroine Winne in living out a Downtown Abbey fantasy. I found it refreshing that this book was different than the typical Danielle Steele story. It was lighter and fun!

Another great read by Danielle Steel. Full of great characters and an enticing story, you know what you will get from one of her books. I don't know how she is able to continue to write stories that I want to read after all this time!

I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Danielle Steel is one of my favorite authors and she definitely does not disappoint in this engaging story of forgotten dreams and betrayal. Very well written with interesting, intense characters along with an absolutely awesome plot line. This is a must read. Enjoy!

I've always been a fan of Danielle Steel's books. Beauchamp Hall didn't disappoint me. With it's settings, plot and characters. A heart-warming story with it's ups and downs. A sure recommend.

I used to be a big Danielle Steele fan but after binge reading her books one after another after another, I took a break and this is the first one of hers I have read in quite a few years. It is very different than the previous novels of hers that I have read and I loved it! It was a sweet and refreshing modern day fairy tale, and I fell in love with all of it! I wish it were based on real life TV shows and real life characters, I would absolutely watch the shows and follow the people on social media! Is it possible that this could turn into a series? I don’t think Danielle Steele has ever traveled that route but I think this would be a great novel to try it out!

Thank you for this ARC!

I never read Danielle Steel books, well, I start and then I never finish them. Unfortunately, it was the same for this. While it seemed like such a nice story line, the writing is so very flat. Almost abrupt, no imagination.

I am a fan of Danielle Steele, yet it has been quite some time that I have picked up one of her books,
and quite frankly I am glad I did, she did not disappoint. This book was warm, comfy, and a quick read for me.

Like Danielle Steele's true nature, a life-changing event that brings the "characters world crumbling down and then the desire to rise again

Winnie returns home to her small town to take care of her ailing mother, she returns home and feels as though she is a time warp, and time is passing her by, friends are married, have children, she does not fit in and misses the life she once had and wanted.
Chance happens and Winnie receives the opportunity of a lifetime to chase her dreams, she leaves for England and takes the reader with her
I really enjoyed reading this book and following Winnie’s journey. Her willingness to take chances.

#BeauchampHall#NetGalley. Was so excited to have a chance to read Danielle Steel’s new book, Beauchamp Hall. It’s such a warm and fuzzy read although it starts out bleek and sad. Winnie must leave college, goes back to a small Illinois town, has a boss who doesn’t recognize her worth and a boyfriend who is only interested in using her.
And then, as a gift, she gets DVD’S of a series filmed at a castle in England, reminiscent of Downtown Abbey!
This is Danielle Steel doing what she does best!

I was pleasantly surprised by this book for a number of reasons, mainly in that it didn't feel like a typical Danielle Steel book. I come from the era of "old school" Danielle Steel - Accident, Malice, Star, Family Album. And I loved them all. But they're full of some serious drama and tragedy. Beauchamp Hall had the required damsel in distress, but it leaned far more toward chick lit than drama. Lighter, less tragic, "easier." I liked Winnie's character, and while her journey bordered on unrealistic, it was still fun to read and follow her life adventures.

Where this book died for me was the end. The lead-in to the ending was virtually non-existent, and while I pretty much knew how it would end, it never actually developed to that point; it just happened, and then boom, The End. There was almost zero character development for Beatrice and Freddie, the ending was rushed, and I'm not sure why. This was a relatively short book by Danielle Steel standards, so there was plenty of room to delay the ending and really work the details as they should have been. Missed opportunity. This would have been a 4-star read for me if not for that.

Winona is just existing and not really living, although she doesn’t realize this. I’m a dead end job and relationship and just being ok is not the life she planned. Until she starts binge watching a TV show and she begins to want more, crave move out of life and love.
A never give up on your dreams or happiness book.
I enjoyed this book as I have been a long time fan of Danielle Steel!

In Beauchamp Hall Danielle Steel once again shows us that life doesn’t always follow a preplanned path. The main character, Winona, came home from college to care for her ailing mother and never returns to her formal education. She ends up binge watching a British tv series. Following huge job and relationship disappointments she heads to England where the tv series in filmed. She fits right in and immerses herself in this new life. The story line, although simple, held my interest.

This book grabs you and pulls you into the plot. I honestly feel that this book was one of Danielle Steel's finest. It really hit a nerve with me, also having lived in Michigan, and in Southern California around the movie studios. - Not aware of all the hard work and emotions, that go into a production.

When Winnie's life literally falls apart at the seams, with a redundant long term boyfriend, betrayal by her best friend, and loss of a unappreciated job, Winnie sinks into watching a DVD about a period drama set in a castle in England. The drama gets into her head and she feels mesmerized. by the people and their manners.

She realizes that she has nothing to lose, so she takes off for England to visit the town and the castle where the filming of Beauchamp Hall actually takes place and falls in love with the village, its people, and actually gets hired by the filming crew, starting as an extra.

She feels like this is where she belongs, and after the series comes to an abrupt end Winnie decides to stay in the village and re-invents herself, and to save the aristocrats from losing their castle.

This is a spellbinding book that is hard to put down, it proves you can follow your dreams.

This would be a great book to purchase as a gift for family or friends.

I did not want this book to ever. end. (sigh)

READ it, enjoy it and pass along the good review!
