General view: I kind of have a problem with this book. It was pretty good. I really enjoyed it. The world seems awesome. And oh god I so can see Adam and - I'm not going to say his name - as a couple and I'm all for gay characters. However, I was not exactly confused but quite confused. The first plot ended up so soon I was totally "wait what". I felt like it was supposed to be a few short stories that blended into each other - which is great, but not if it's sold as a full book. I didn't have too much time to care about the side characters, and I made me really sad because you can see they're amazing. I do wanna read the next book, even if half of me think this one was laking. I feel like this series and the author has a huge vast potential and - whilst this book was not bad - it wasn't as good as I could have been. The problem with a cover that good and a synopsis so interesting is that eventually we'll end up disappointed.
