This is the latest in the downward dog series . Kate and Michael are trying to conceive a child and are having a hard time with it. She is asked to start a yoga class at a youth center for homeless teens. When one of the employees is murdered Kate decides to look into the case because she doesn't believe that the person the police suspect is the true culprit.

I liked this book. It was a bit different from her other books in the series. Kate is helping a homeless teen who ran away from her stepfather. The only thing I didn't like was how Kate was pushing away her best friend Renee. I am glad they made up by the end of the book .

I received this book from net galley in exchange for a honest review .

It always makes me sad to come to the end of a Tracy Weber book. I hate having to leave these characters as I’ve come to love them and feel like I have to say goodbye to my friends (at least until the next books comes out). Murder Likes It Hot has a great murder mystery storyline, amazing characters that continue to grow and evolve with depth and richness, and who doesn’t like some furry friends added into the mix? Some scenes make you laugh, make you cry, and make you go, “Darn, I didn’t see that coming.”

I have read every one of Tracy Weber’s book, and they continue to keep me entertained and provide a suspenseful escape. You can read this book as a stand-alone, but I highly recommend starting at book 1. All her books are great reads.

I enjoyed the well thought out characters and especially the topic and storyline in Murder Likes It Hot book, and I am anxiously waiting for the next one. Please keep the books coming.

I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

MURDER LIKESIT HOT By Tracy Weber

This is a great story with a very likeable protagonist. Dealing with issues that we t nd to not talk about in our daily lives, it also has a great plot. Kate Davidson has just gotten married and is dealing with infertility. She has a great yoga studio but unfortunately, a ne lower cost studio has just opened up across the street from her. She is also starting a yoga class for homeless teenagers. Then something tragic happens. An employee from the Some like it hot yoga studio turns up dead. So Kate decides that she and her German Shepherd are going to investigate and put her issues on hold. This deals with everyday issues and not so everyday issues. The author Dora’s a great job in. Making sure that it is believable and understood. The reader is gripped from the beginning and goes on an emotional roller coaster with the writer. I love this book and I believe that this would be another great book to movie.

Thank you to the author and publisher for allowing me the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

This is a fantastic read. While it's the first I've read in the series, it certainly won't be the last. It's a little dark as cozies go, but oh, so good. Kate, the main character, is a captivating character. The story revolves around the brokenness in today's society; the heartbreak of infertility, the tragic reality of runaways, the sadness of the homeless, the fragility of marriages, and the battle of depression in everyday lives. On the upside, the storyline also focuses on the some of the efforts to help with these unpleasant realities of life. The plot is wonderful, the mystery outstanding, and the author does a great job of concealing the guilty party until the end. Overall great read!!!
