Finally got a chance to read this book! Another great story by Hendricks and Pekkanen! I've now read all of their books and they still keep me guessing until the end! My new favorite authors!

Jessica is just trying to earn some extra cash when she becomes part of a study. As the study progresses, she realizes that this is not just a study. Can she survie?

Again, predictable plot followed by a predictable ending. I really wish I could read something totally original, but i feel like some of these authors just borrow from one another.

This book is an absorbing psychological thriller that begins with an ethics “study” and quickly descends from moral grey area into complete midnight. It has become such a popular book and I can absolutely understand why. Sarah and Greer did such an amazing job writing this book and I cannot wait to read more from them both.

This writing duo is a match made in heaven! Every single release is better than the last. I cannot wait to continue reading this pair's books and I hope their collaboration continues for many more years

So excited to read this book. Greer Hendricks is one of my favorite authors and I love when I see their name on anything! I know I'm going to be in for a wild ride.

This was exactly what I expected. I was on teetering on hysteria wanting the protagonist to be okay but still not entirely sure if she was going to be a victim or victim turn villain. The turns in this one come out of nowhere and are delightful and nerve-wracking.

I love being able to guess what is going to happen but this book was not what I imagined. It was fantastic and I can't wait to read it again to be able to see all of the hints and red herrings that I couldn't see the first read.

Oh my god, this book was so good. I loved every second of it. I haven't read these authors' other book/s so I didn't quite have as high of expectations as others but I now need to pick them all up. So good!

Is Jessica caught in a web of carefully constructed manipulation or simply a volunteer test subject?

Jessica Farris finds herself wondering this very thing after signing up to join a psychological experiment. She believes this to be a simple answer and question survey with a quick cash payout. The questions soon become that of very personal experiences known only to Jessica. Feeling that something isn't quite what it was advertised, she begins a spiral into paranoia. Who can she trust? Can she trust even herself? and just what is this mysterious doctor out for and what does he have in store for Jessica next?

A heart stopping, thrill ride of a book, Anonymous Girl is NOT one to miss!

Thank you to Netgalley for the invitation to read and give an honest review on this book.

An Anonymous Girl was an enjoyable read; it had a great dual narration that kept me on my toes while reading. The premise was excellent but for me there was just no “Ah ha” moment that made it into what we usually get from these authors. It was interesting and enjoyable, but definitely not their best work. I would recommend to anyone who likes thrillers, but read this before you read their other novels. 2/5 stars.

I was gripped from the very beginning until the end of this book! Jessica Farris is a 28 year old struggling makeup artist in New York. Chance provides her a way into a psychological study on ethics and morality run by a mysterious Dr. Shields for some extra cash. Turns out this study opens the door for a lot more than Jessica bargained for. There were a lot of twists and turns to this novel that had me on edge a lot of the time. I enjoyed the characters and their backgrounds were believable/fleshed out. All in all, it was quite a chilling read!

I finished the ARC of Greer Hendricks (The Wife Between Us) new book yesterday, The Anonymous Girl. In the same fashion of The Wife Between Us, I actually never knew what was coming. For fans of psychological thrillers, give this a whirl.

What a fascinating book. I was impressed by the storyline and the characters were all well written and complex. Where there are complex storylines combined with intriguing characters the reader experience is magnified tremendously. To have a book that is well written as well as entertaining is a delight. Reading is about escaping your world and entering another one. The word building was phenomenal in this book. Here I forgot about my own life and was immersed in the world created by the author. I would recommend this book.

Quite an interesting book/premise - very twisty and hard to predict. Though there weren't many characters, I still kept going back and forth on who was being honest and who was collaborating with whom. I wouldn't say it was a jaw dropping conclusion, but it was well-written and unpredictable. My only qualm is that at times it was hard to figure out who Dr. Shields was talking about in her journal entries since she oftentimes didn't use the subject's name - it became a little exhausting trying to figure out if I needed to go back or if we were meant to not really know. All in all it was a solid psychological thriller, though I didn't like it as much as The Wife Between Us.

Another great read from powerhouse duo Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkenen. An Anonymous Girl is not quite as shocking and twisty as The Wife Between us, but it's a great read that will keep you turning pages nonetheless.

An Anonymous Girl is a great "light" mystery thriller read. For me, it was engaging and well written and I can't wait to get my hands on forthcoming titles by these authors.

This book was incredible, there were perfect levels of suspense and anticipation. Although I thought I had figured out some of the twists, even the ones I was right about were only a small angle in the whole story and the biggest reveals still came as a huge shock to me. I loved all of the characters, even the worst personalities I found myself so invested in.

I struggled with this book as I had a hard time connecting with the charters. I enjoyed the storyline and felt it was a good premise. I've always enjoyed Greer Hendricks novels, so I was probably just having an off day. I would recommend this read to others.

Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen are now an auto-buy author duo for me! They are masters in suspense, misdirection, and really intriguing stories. An Anonymous Girl is no different.

Jessica Farris decides to sign up for a anonymous psychology study on ethics and morality with a mysterious doctor. It sounds easy enough, with a decent monetary incentive, which definitely motivates Jess. At first, she thinks she'll just have to answer a few simple questions, but the questions take a dark and mysterious turn. Pretty soon, it seems like the study is infiltrating every aspect of her life. Is she just paranoid? Is it worth possibly risking her life to stick with it?

Hendricks and Pekkanen will have you guessing through twists and turns until the very end! I'd definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys fast-paced thrillers with inventive storylines.

The premise for this is great. I dove in expecting a lot and got... most of it. The dual point of view was okay for this one. I typically love multiple points of view, but this one felt off in places. It moves very, very slowly. Dr. Sheilds is definaly a mess, but poor Jess. She's been through the wringer and it's not over yet. So what is this man actually looking for? A person who will do what? Kill? Have no regrets? Does he need a sociopath, or is this even deeper than that? You wind up reading even when it's s-l-o-w, because you need ot know what is happening to and with Jess.

Thanks to Net Galley for my copy of this book. This review is my own, left freely.

Normally, this author's books are good. This book was not. Very boring and just not something that was able to hold my interest. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book in return for my honest review. Receiving the book in this manner had no bearing on my review.
