Things Your Dog Doesn’t Want You to Know is a delightful and humorous take on the quirky behaviors of our canine companions. In this cleverly written gift book, Jeff Johnson presents the unfiltered thoughts of eleven "courageous" dogs, revealing the truth behind their bizarre habits—from why they dash to rugs during moments of distress to their unrelenting appetite for furniture.
The book is filled with witty narratives, relatable dog-owner anecdotes, and charming photos that will have you laughing out loud. Each section offers a playful exploration of what dogs might be thinking but are too “polite” to express. Whether you're a dog owner or simply a dog lover, this book provides a lighthearted and entertaining glimpse into the often baffling world of man's best friend.
The only drawback is that some of the humor may feel a bit repetitive at times, but overall, Things Your Dog Doesn’t Want You to Know is a fun, feel-good read that any dog enthusiast will enjoy.

The title sounds so intriguing! What secrets does my dog want to keep from me? We meet eleven dogs who tell about their lives.
I would have enjoyed more photos instead of the thumbnail sized head shots. The book was rather wordy. I think I'll let my dog keep his own secrets.
