This was just barely a passable read. There were numerous times that I almost gave up on it. Way too unbelievable. I can't see myself reading anything else by this author.

Full of suspense and drama, Ancestral is the second book in this series from Nathan Field. The Many was creepy in the perfect way that thrillers are and Ancestral is even better.

Dawn Flint was abducted in the middle of the night. Three months of torturous flashback and visions have plagued her ever since. Karl Morgan's sisters suffered a similar attack. Working together, they find the address of Dawn's attacker.

I finished this book in a single day, because there was no way for me to stop. The tension is high and just trying to find out exactly what was going on was so, so important.

This is going to be an amazing series and I can't wait to read the next installment.

Overall I enjoyed this book and the storyline and characters within it. I found some of it a bit short on detail and found the ending rushed and like not enough of the story was tied up and settled but overall it was a good, easy read. I wasn't gripped but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Interesting themes and ideas!
