Excellent tarot guide using Rider Waite cards explaining each card in both the upright and reversed position plus showing a selection of layouts. But in a concise and easy to read format. Highly recommended.

Tarot Made Simple is one of the best books on understanding and reading Tarot cards that I have ever seen. The spreads are so much easier than most that and what the cards mean is explained in simple terms that anyone can understand. I have already ordered my own copy. I really love this book. I received this book from Net Galley and Quarto Publishing-Fair Winds Press for a honest review and no compensation otherwise.

This is a brilliant starter book for anyone interested in tarot cards. The layout goes through the basics and the explainations of individual cards.
There are step by step instructions for the care, use and upkeep of the cards. Ideal for anyone spiritually inclined.

If you are drawn to the Rider-Waite Smith system(RWS) of tarot cards and are looking for a good introduction, then this will be a book to consider.
I am reminded of a very detailed version of the Little White Book (LWB) that comes with every tarot deck, but this one has an expanded collection of spreads, tarot care and meanings for you to follow. An experienced tarot reader will tell you, though, that there is no set rules for tarot reading. If you need hand-holding, RWS is often recommended for beginners and I feel that the book excels in making things bite-sized.

Ok, that was great! It's more than just the cards, is how to deal with them. How to store and how important is having a good clean space to read it; Suffling, cutting, turning over. Kinds of reading and which is the ideal (for the moment). Every page was a card at the bottom, with the different meanings for each one. It so much more than I would ever think. It's a step-to-step guide. If you know nothing, this is the right book for you. If you do know something, it will still be an amazing guide.

If I need a rating, it would be 4/5, but I don't like the idea of rating a non-fiction book. Which is actually funny, bc I don't ever read non-fiction. But this - and a few others - really picked my interest.
On a side note, the absence of a kindle edition really annoyed me, since I had to read it on my laptop, instead of my kindle

I like reading about Tarots and this book was a really pleasant and interesting read.
Even though I read a lot on this topic this book showed something new and new ways to understand the card meaning and new spreads.
Recommended!
Many thanks to Quarto Publishing and Netgalley for this ARC

This was an excellent book for someone just starting to read tarot.  The explanations were easy to read and understand.  Tthe author went into details about how to care for cards, different kinds of readings, and encouraged journaling your readings.  I don't think this is a book for someone very experienced with tarot, as it is very simplistic and doesn't go into great detail about the meaning of each card. But, for someone just starting to read tarot, this book is perfect. I also think for the average user who doesn't want to get really in-depth with this book, this book is great as it doesn't get weighed down with deep analysis of things, but it keeps it simple and straightforward.
