Reality is always more difficult to deal with than our dreams. And this story explores and exploits all those points. We know what we want to happen and if we think about it long enough and hard enough, it will happen, right? That’s what the main character seems to think and, come on, he’s a guy so of course he expects it all to go his way! I just love that this author isn’t afraid to deviate from the typical storyline and make the characters sweat a bit, think a lot, and then love with everything they have!

Jaden proposes to his girlfriend, gets dumped moments before his brother’s wedding, and then proceeds to get drunk. And wakes up in the morning with the bridesmaid he escorted down the aisle. That’s not so unusual but when the woman sharing the bed start throwing things at him because he’s being a jerk, he heads for the door and falls down the stairs after being hit with a lamp.

With a broken ankle and nowhere to stay, Arsula offers to let him stay in the converted house that she uses as an office. It’s only fair since she’s the one who caused the accident.

The rest of the story you have to read – I can’t even begin to summarize it for you! Just know that you will thoroughly enjoy it!

I received an ARC from the author for an honest and unbiased review. No compensation was promised or received for the review.

This book has both cursing (including f-bombs) and on-page sex. Neither overwhelms the book, but if you find either of them off putting use your own judgment before reading. This is book four of the Wildes of Birch Bay series, and although reading at least Montana Cherries will give you a lot of meaningful background, this book can stand completely alone.

In the interest of full disclosure, I was not a fan of Arsula from the previous book. Actually, to be totally honest, I was hoping that she wouldn't wind up with any of the Wilde siblings and mentioned it in my review because I just don't care for woo woo stuff in my contemporary romance, so I found her “mystical powers” annoying rather than charming. (That's just my opinion, please don't bash me for my personal taste.) That said, I really, REALLY liked her in this book. Yeah, she still is into the woo woo and I still rolled my eyes at the cheese factor of it all, but I very much liked Arsula as a person and the way that she handled herself. I also liked how she told Jaden off every time he insulted her abilities. It's quite a statement to Ms. Law's writing skills that she could make me side with Arsula over Jaden, even when I kind of agreed with the thought behind what he was saying a lot of the times. I found myself rooting for her hardcore because Arsula was funny, likable, a little hot tempered, but also really sweet and kind. And then there was Jaden. Ah Jaden. He was prickly and a little childish at times – something that he readily admits in his own mind so this isn't me insulting him – but he was also so fragile and so incredibly good that I spent most of the book wanting to hug him because “sometimes even morons need hugs”. Knowing his background and having read the previous books, I absolutely adored Jaden and his grumpiness.

Of course, because this is a Wildes of Montana book, the Wilde family plays a huge part in this story, adding so much awesome to this already great love story. I seriously adore this family, and every scene that happened between the siblings or any scene that had Jenna and Haley in it, made me just crave more of all of them. (The stuff happening with Mr. Wilde however, was beyond heartbreaking and I am dreading that part of the future books.)

I cannot wait for Cord and Nate's books, even though it will mean an end to this series and these siblings that I love so much.

I would highly recommend this story to anyone who has read the previous books – you're going to love Jaden & Arsula – or to anyone who likes a fun opposites attract story. You cannot go wrong with a Kim Law story.

I was so excited to get to pick up another book from this series. I really enjoy the series, characters and the story. The plot was unique and interesting. Very well written. Also, you get to see your faves from the earlier books, but you won't be lost if you haven't read those yet- but you totally should :)

This is the fourth book in the series. Montana Dreams takes you on the journey of Jared Wilde and Arsula Moretti.

Jared comes home from Seattle where he is finishing his master’s degree in counseling for his brother Gabe’s wedding to Erica. (Their story is Montana Mornings.) Just before entering the church with long-time girlfriend, Megan, he asks her to marry him. Megan rejects his proposal and further wants to go their separate ways. Predictably, Jared gets drunk at the reception.

Enter Arsula Moretti. Arsula has a gift where she helps others see into themselves to become better people. She was compelled to move to Birch Bay but didn’t understand the reason why until she sees Jared. She knows he is the reason, and she must help him. The two of them continue drinking together after the reception and end up in bed together. The next morning Jared regrets his actions and is livid with Arsula, even calling her the devil. She retaliates by throwing things at him. Jared slips, goes down, and severely breaks his ankle.

Jared does not want to stay with his family while recuperating. He prefers to stay with Arsula. Thus begins the journey between Jared and Arsula. I know your main characters must in any good story change, but I had a hard time with Jared. I didn’t like him at the beginning, middle, and only a little better at the end. I felt he was selfish, which Arsula also observes. Jared’s growth as a person didn’t seem to go deep enough. The end of the book also seemed rushed.

I think this was the weakest book of the series. That being said, I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I received a free, advance copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my unbiased review.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book!
It is a captivating, intensely emotional
& heartfelt story. It really pulled all my heartstrings. It's truly a beautiful
written story.
If you've read the Wildes of Birch Bay
from the beginning, you have an understanding of the back storyline.
If you haven't, I would really recommend
to start with Montana Cherries.
Jaden is the youngest of the siblings.
Right before his brother's wedding,
Jaden girlfriend of three years broke up with him. It started an intense chain of events in his life.
Arsula has a special gift. She woke up one morning from a dream, not knowing who or where, but that someone needed
her. The where was Birch Bay. It wasn't
till the night of the wedding, that Arsula's
intuition's told who she was here for.
I loved everything about the book!
Jaden & Arsula steal your heart from
the very first pages to the last.
Highly Recommend!!

We are back in Montana and the Wilde siblings. Siblings that suffered in their childhood due to a narcissist mother and a weak father. Those childhood experiences affected them very much and as adults , still have residual effects.
This time the story belongs to the youngest, Jaden, a young man about to get his master’s in counseling. He’s in town for his brother’s wedding and to propose to his girlfriend. But things don’t go as expected .
Arsula is an intuitive and as far as Jaden is concerned , the one to blame for his girlfriend’s decision to turn down his proposal.
As we read the story, we are reminded that the experiences of our childhood will affect us as adults. Especially when the people that are to suppose to love us and care for us , really don’t.
Though not my favorite in the series, it was still a good story.
I was entrusted this copy by Netgalley and Montlake Romance. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I usually love Kim Law’s books, but I just really struggled with this one and didn’t enjoy it as much as 8 hoped I would. The writing was strong, but Jaden just absolutely drove me crazy. I couldn’t get past his selfishness.

This is a story of growth, acceptance, love & family. Jaden is set in his ways & is selfish. Subconsciously, he has issues stemming from his narcissistic mother & his “absent” father. He’s never really felt loved. His girlfriend even refused to marry him because of a dream & the person that helped her figure out what it meant.

Arsula has a gift. She helps people interpret their dreams. It makes some people look at her oddly. Her father is making her miserable because he doesn’t feel she is living up to her potential. Arsula feels she has been brought to town to “heal” Jaden.

What fireworks! Arsula seems so calm & loving but boy can Jaden make her furious. Their chemistry is intense from the beginning but when they open their mouths, they really provoke reactions from each other. Jaden becomes furious & attacks when ever Arsula gets too close to the truth. His comments are designed to hurt Arsula’s soul when said. Her character is more forgiving than I would be. Arsula is more intelligent than people give her credit for but she needs to trust in herself & be brave about trying something new. This was not a relationship I would have seen but they pull each other out of their comfort zones & compliment each other.

I really liked the general vibe of this book and loved Arsula, but I found Jaden a bit of an annoying whinging character and had trouble warming to him. I know he had issues from his childhood but he really acted like a spoilt brat a lot of the time - although he did really redeem himself by the end of the book but it took him most of the book to get there!

Arsula has moved to town fairly recently and settled in well, helping people interpret their dreams. I really liked Arsula's character, she was very warm and friendly, always helping people, and yet really fiery as well!

Jaden is back in town for a wedding, and whilst in town proposes to his long-term girlfriend, Megan, who turns him down as she had been having doubts and, after having her dream read by Arsula, decides it's time for them to part. Jaden can't believe it and ends up getting very drunk at the wedding, with Arsula, ends up at her apartment, throws a hissy fit the next morning and ends up falling down a flight of stairs (aided by a lamp Arsula threw at him!), breaking his ankle and staying in Birch Bay in a room just off his sister's office, looked after in part by Arsula.

The rest of the book is about the love/hate relationship going on with Arsula and Jaden, with Jaden slowly (very!) mellowing towards Arsula's 'gift', especially as towards the end of the book she really helped his family out with a premonition.

The ending was really, really lovely and Jaden finally redeemed himself, which made me feel much better towards the whole story. The Birch Bay series itself sounds really interesting, and I really like Kim Law's style of writing, so I will definitely be looking into reading books about the other members of the family.

Kindle Copy from NetGalley

The Wilde boys are back once again, We are focus on Jaden whose girlfriend recently declined his proposal due to a new age dream reader. He thinks it just cold feet but Arsula ends up in town to guide him but he does not trust her.

As the two of them spend time together there is a growing attraction but neither trusts each other. She is afraid that she is just the rebound girl and does not trust her feelings. Each of them coming from less than ideal backgrounds, will they give love a chance?

Once again the author brings romance to Birch Bay. A good addition in the series

Author Kim Law surprised me with this one! Do you believe in intuition, or dream reading, or following your gut? If you do, this story will be right up your alley. And if not, this story will make a believer out of you!

Jaden Wilde is home in Montana for his brother’s wedding. Things happen that break or break up things (read the story, lots of fun and feels here!). And Arsula is there doing what she does. She’s awesome, even if I do mispronounce her name Every Time in my head.

If you’ve been to Montana with this author before, you know the Wilde family and their story. If this is your first visit, you are in for a treat - and after you’re done with this one, you’ll want to go back and start the series from the beginning, just because it’s so good! Enjoy this story, have some cherries (or a cupcake), and remember to follow your gut!

Montana Dreams is a sweet love story. Poor Jaden has some major demons he is battling and his world implodes in a heartbreaking way, making him forced to face those demons. My heart broke for him and I was upset that no one ever acknowledges his birthday at the beginning. It's so sad. As the story goes on we learn a lot of interesting things about Arsula and he helps Jaden face those demons in a surprising way. So far each story about the siblings of a narcissist mother has been an interesting read. I have learned a lot about the psychology behind the personality disorder and how it effects the entire family. It is very real and I look forward to reading Nate and Cord's stories. I am betting that Nate's is next. I'll be looking for his book!

This is the fourth book of the Wilde’s of Birch Bay. The Wilde’s are a large family with six kids. While their mother isn’t in the book, her abusive behavior has shaped all her children’s lives. This book centers around Jaden, the youngest in the family. Jaden comes home from Seattle, where he is finishing his Masters in counseling, to attend he brothers wedding. Right before the wedding, he proposes to his girlfriend Megan, who dumps him. Arsula has a gift, she is able to interpret dreams and help people make positive life decisions. She helped Megan realize that Jaden wasn’t the man for her. After a series of events, Jaden and Arsula are thrown together (drunken almost hookup, Jaden’s compound fracture of the ankle). I have read all the books in the series and enjoyed this one. I really liked Arsula, and enjoyed catching up with the rest of the family. Jaden was harder to like. He was whiny, condescending and cruel to Arsula at times. He did come around in the end, but i just didn’t warm up to him. That is what kept this from being a five star review. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

The Wildes, I love this family! We get Jaden's story and it begins with a bang when his longtime girlfriend turns down his proposal because she dreams don't have the two of them together. Jaden is devastated. He's close to earning his master's in counseling and is convinced he can get her back- she has cold feet.

Arsula has been in town for several months and has quickly become highly respected by the community with her charming personality and her ability to read her intuitions and dreams. She's in town knowing she is to help someone- for a specific purpose- but hasn't been showed whom that is yet. Meeting Jaden at his brother's wedding, Arsula knows he is heartbroken over being dumped and commiserates with Jaden- getting too drunk. I love the next morning when Jaden "gets the boot" so to speak.

Jaden comes to realize Arsula is the one who interpreted his girlfriend's dreams that ended his relationship and therefore has it in for Arsula. On the other hand, Arsula realizes Jaden is why she come to town and now needs to figure out what he needs help from her with. Obviously with the Wilde chlidren history it will inevitably go back to his mother, and perhaps even his father.

Arsula ends up taking care of Jaden and the two are like night and day- fight like cats and dogs- and are both stubborn to boot. On top of all that, they find that they share a mutual attraction for one another that neither want. Jaden has no respect for Arsula and has no qualms in telling her he thinks she's a phony. Arsula has grown up being treated that way and dreams of having the strength to pursue her passion rather than being called a quack.

This story has some hilarious times, then some that are of great reflection into the trauma a child can suffer from being raised by a narcissistic witch! I enjoyed reading about the Wilde's, the exploration of Arsula's gift and the acceptance she desires from not only Jaden, but her father.
