Sinful Seduction (Red Stone Security, #8)
by Katie Reus

Katie Reus at her best - this book is romance, wrapped in scary realistic adventure. Well written, the storyline pulls you in before dragging you in to another world. An excellent romance.

If you like the sound of the books description, you'll love this story. This is the 8th Red Stone book and I have loved them all.

This is 8th from Red Stone Reduction Series. I have read the 2nd one and I did enjoy it and I dove into this book.
New member of the Red Stone Security Alexander witnesses mugging and rescues beautiful Mina. She insisted looked after his injuries since he rescued her from all those muggers.
When Alex finally sees Mina, she is beautiful artist with secrets. She lives in high end Key West condo and her security seems top of the line. When they realizes this wasn't simple mugging, Alex wants to protect her.
Mina is not simple artist, she is daughter of big pharmaceutical company's CEO. When Alex brings Mina to his work, it may conflict with work but he would do anything to protect her and Caldwell brothers would understand.
Now Red Stone and Alex needs to find out who is threatening her and tryin to kill her.

It was fast paced suspense and great addition to the series. I really enjoyed reading about all the other peoples from Red Stone Security.. I can't wait to get to the next one.
Thanks to KR press and Author for my ARC in exchange for honest review.

Title: Sinful Seduction
Series: Red Stone Security Book #8
Stand Alone Title: yes
Author: Katie Reus
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Blurb: He'll do anything to protect her....

Former Marine and newest Red Stone Security employee Alexander Blue is still adjusting to the civilian world after a decade spent at war, but when he sees someone in danger, nothing can take away that intrinsic need to protect. After stopping a would-be mugger, Blue finds himself being bandaged up by a sensual local artist in her Key West condo. He never expected to stay the night, even if it is on her couch. The mysterious Mina gets under his skin in a way he never thought possible. When it becomes clear that her mugging wasn’t random and she’s being targeted by deadly men, Blue has no problem stepping into the role of protector.

But she doesn't want to be saved

Tired of being coddled and treated like a child, Mina has tried to distance herself from her family. When danger finds her, she’s forced to turn to the sexy stranger who she feels a strong, unexpected connection with. In him she sees glimmers of herself; a little broken, withdrawn and wary of the world. Soon she learns that the biggest threat might not be from the men trying to kidnap her, but from the quiet warrior who poses an immediate risk to her heart.
Thoughts: This story is compelling from the very beginning, and I loved the two main characters. Not surprising – I love anything by Katie Reus! The Red Stone Security series is great in that they all stand alone but are also tied together without making you feel lost.
Definitely recommend all the books in the series – well, and anything by the author for that matter!

I REALLY love Katie Reus's books, but this wasn't one of my favorites. It was not consistent with this author's usual fast-paced, page-turning plotlines. I finished this book about a week before writing this review and had a really difficult time remembering what happened, or really anything about the characters as they weren't particularly memorable. That being said, let's put this review in perspective: this author never disappoints, and although I said it wasn't a favorite and it wasn't very memorable, this doesn't mean that it wasn't a good read. It's just not up there with the other books, by this author, that I have read.

Author Katie Reus' Red Stone Security series is filled with men who are very protective toward women. They come off as alpha, with the shooting the bad guys, fighting and high-speed chases but the women aren't exactly in distress. In this case, Mina knows a thing or two about protecting herself, but she also trusts Blue, realizing he knows a few more tricks than she does.

A word of warning - just when you think it's over ... wham ... Ms. Reus throws in a little twist just to keep your heart racing. As I stated earlier this was released a few years ago, if you haven't read it already it is a fascinating read.

Alex needed something in his life. He worked and had a hard time relaxing. Finally he made a decision to get some fresh air and experience Key West not knowing he would stop a wealthy heiress from being kidnapped. Being with Mina and protecting her when her life is in danger was a promise he did not take lightly. Keeping her safe is all that matters as he tries to remain strong and deny the attraction that simmers between them.

Katie Reus at her best - this book is a taste of romance, wrapped in scarily realistic adventure. Well written, the storyline pulls you in before dragging you in to another world. An excellent romance.

If you like the sound of the books description, you'll love this story. The blurb gives enough clues without giving away too much.

The Red Stone Security series is chalked full of alpha protective good guy heroes who not surprisingly win the heart of the leading lady, always while risking life and limb with skill and precision while protecting them. Sinful Seduction was no exception. You really don’t need to know a whole lot more, folks. If you find that romantic concept appealing, you’re likely all good to go with each and every one of this currently now up to 15 novellas series. This one is #8, btw. Now also sold in book bundles, you can often score multiple books for the price of one, folks.

This author’s writing seems to always flow seamlessly. She includes very steamy scenes and perilous situations, which have the main couple bonding in more ways than one. At only 140 pages, I breezed right through this sweet/smexy but relatively predictable read. Romance readers who don’t want to commit to a lengthy storyline will likely appreciate the rushed plot and rapid wrap up.

Title: Sinful Seduction, Series: Red Stone Security (Book 8), Author: Katie Reus, Pages: 140, stand-alone but part of a series, alpha protective good guy hero, damsel in distress heroine, both been celibate awhile, romance safe, very steamy scenes, short novella.

In this story Alexander, also known as Blue stops an abduction on the street of a women he later finds out is named Mina. She realizes that he has had some special training in the way he handled himself with the men that were trying to take her. She feels bad about his injuries even if he does not. She offers to at least to look after them and he agrees because he does not want her to be alone. He later finds out that she is an artist but also that her father is extremely wealthy. The last part has led her to live a very sheltered life with very few people in it. When she finds out something about her father she is happy that Blue is there and is also surprised by her attraction to him. They want to be with each other but Blue needs to work out some things before he can agree to be with her and make her feel the way she needs to. Towards the end you are routing for the two of them to be together. A good book and a very quick read.

Katie Reus’s writing and a glass of wine is what every Sunday winter afternoon needs – this offering might not be the best of her, but it’s still entertaining, steamy goodness that you absolutely need in your life!

MIna is mugged while Blue is visiting Key West and saves her. While Blue is your alpha male, Mina is not about to let him take over. I loved the chemistry between them, and the suspense is typical Katie Reus. You don’t want to miss this next book in her series.

A fast paced read fuelled with suspense and romance. Havent read mych by reus but she is definitely one to look for.
Sinful seduction is the story of Mina whom holds her own secrets and alex whom has his own issues and past.
What starts as a possibly random mugging turns into something a helluva lot more as the phrase biting off more than you can chew springs to mind.
Loved the story, kept me eager to read more.
Reus has a knack for hiving you sexy heroes and feisty heroines and delievering them to you in a way that leaps off the page and visualising it like a movie.

Great story! I enjoyed Blue and Mina’s story so much I finished it in a day. As with the rest of the series, their story is full of great characters, a good story line and much chemistry. Normally I can figure out who the bad guy is quickly, but I didn’t see this guy coming which was really nice. If you are new to the series you can read this book as a stand-alone, which I think is nice.

If you like insta-love, have I found the book for you. Sinful Seduction ended up being a fun to read, action-packed book.

At first, I was a bit worried about Mina, the heroine, heading straight to TSTL town, but she veered off fairly quickly and ended up being a surprisingly level-headed and strong heroine who could keep her wits about her in the most precarious and dangerous of situations.

Blue was one sexy, smoldering marine who knew how to take care of business, so needless to say, I liked him too. He embodied the image of a hero, going above and beyond to keep his woman safe. I do wish we’d gotten more insight into his past as to why he seemed so lost. Little nuggets were dropped here and there, but he never felt completely fleshed out as a character to me.

The heat was smoldering with lots of steamy preludes before they finally got to the big finale. As for that finale, it did not disappoint. I love how Katie Reus gives us seriously sexy scenes packed full of emotion. Those are hands down my favorite kind.

There was lots of action which made me all kinds of happy and it was a fairly quick read, which perfectly suited my day. I haven’t read all the books in this series, but Sinful Seduction has given me the perfect excuse to get caught up.

Rating: 4 I Love A Good Finale Stars

I am not a big fan of the insta-love stories, but this one was okay. Mina is a very wealthy woman and that has caused her to be a target. Alex was at the right place at the right time, and he quickly offers his protection. He is hesitant to involve himself with Mina, since he isn’t one to take her security lightly.
They have a great connection, so keeping their hands off each other doesn’t last long. It was a bit short but I enjoyed it anyways.

Stand alone. You don't need to have read the previous books to enjoy this one, but there are lots of peeps from previous books that make an appearance.

It was a very quick story. They meet after he saves her. They hook up and insta-love. Bad guys taken care of with the helps of said peeps. No angst, no extra drama just a very nice romance with nasty kidnappers to defeat.

Blue is enjoying his new career with Red Stone. But when he saves a local artist from a mugging, he opens a whole can of worms he was not expecting. Mina isn't just an artist, she is the daughter of a billionaire who has major contracts with the government. So Blue now wonders if they were after Mina herself, or using her to get leverage against her father.

Mina loved her life of semi obscurity in Key West. She was a long way from her fathers influence, she had her freedom. But she isn't stupid, she knows she could be a target because of her fathers wealth and she takes her safety seriously. Which is why she finds it strange that she feels so at ease with Blue when he rescues her.

But as the story evolves we are left trying to figure out who may be behind the mugging, it looks like it is someone very close to Mina. But Mina faces further tragedy when it is revealed just why she has been unable to contact her father.

Lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing and a really tightly crafted story. Blue and Mina were an engaging couple.

Alexander Blue rescues Mina from an apparent mugging. The two hit it off and Mina finally admits that she's convinced the mugging was really an attempted kidnapping to keep her away from her wealthy father. Blue begins protection duty.

This is the 8th book in the series, and filled with a hot alpha ex-marine, his lovely, sweet lady and lots of steam. And I mean lots! As with other books in the series, there is non-stop action. Fans of romantic suspense/romantic action novels will love this one!
