This is book 8 in the Redstone Security series and it can absolutely be read as a stand alone. I would still read the previous books just because it introduces not only the series but the characters that you see in the next books including this one. This one is about Alexander Blue (Blue) who is one of the newer employees. He saves Mina from an attack on the street never imagining how much his life will be changing. Mina is a local artist who has been distancing herself from her family in the hopes that they will stop treating her like a child. What she doesn't know or expect is that there is a bigger threat coming for her and she will need the help of the man who saved her in order to be safe.

This is another really good installment in this series. Blue is definitely a protective man but he has issues of his own that he still deals with. It all makes you love him more. Mina is a strong woman who isn't afraid to fight for what she not only wants but what she needs. And even when they are both fighting to stay safe, they manage to understand that the things they feel for each other are exactly right for them. Another hot suspenseful read and I couldn't put it down!

I'm really enjoying the Red Stone Security series. The series is pretty action packed with a bit of danger in each book.

In Sinful Seduction, Mina and Alexander (Blue) meet when he intercepts a kidnapping attempt made on Mina. When Alex finds out her father is extremely wealthy and the reason for the attempt, he offers to protect her.

Blue is a bit of a brooder and not really a people person. Mina is an artist who is trying to live a low key life away from her paranoid father. She is a bit socially awkward herself. They are both hesitant with each other at first but their attraction quickly escalates to make for a very fast and hot read.

I absolutely love Katie Reus. She writes great books from the heart. This is another book in the Red Stone Security series. Mia is a heiress living in Key West painting while trying to keep a low profile. Her father is well known in the scientific circles for funding research projects for cures of different diseases. While leaving an art gallery, she is surrounded by several men who are trying to do more than mug her. Suddenly, someone comes to her aid and they leave. Not just someone, but Blue, who is a former football player, military and is now working for Red Stone Security. Mia takes Blue back to her house to treat his wounds. There is an immediate attraction, but there is too much danger to risk a relationship at this time. Blue calls in help because he knows this is more serious than a mugging. Someone is watching Mia, Her father is very ill and wants to see her before he dies, They go to his well secured house and get there in time for her to talk to him. There is a traitor in her father's security team . Is it Ivan who has headed up security for her father for many years? Mia cannot believe it, but several phone calls point in his direction. When the man who wants to hurt her shows up while they are asleep, will both survive? Loved this book. I received this book from Net Galley and KR Pres, LLC for an honest review and no compensation otherwise.

I really liked this book!!! This story was much better than First Surrender from the Wicked Firsts anthology. I really liked both Blue and Mina. I also liked how both admitted it was happening really fast, but sometimes it just does. I liked how strong Mina was. She didn't want to lose what she had built, but she also didn't ignore or totally downplay the situation. I liked Blue. He was a gentleman and a professional. I also liked the tension created as they got to know each other throughout the story. I want to go back and read the rest of the books in this series.

Mina is an artist and has a very wealthy father whom she has distanced herself from to try and make it on her own. On her way home, there is an attempted kidnapping but a man intervened and saves her. Blue is former military and works for Red Stone Security firm and when he sees a woman in trouble, he charges in and fights them off. Mina is shaken up and Blue goes back to her place. She hires Red Stone and Blue is her main bodyguard. As the team looks for the men who attempted to kidnap her, they find out some of the calls the kidnapper made were from her father’s head of security phone. He comes to tell her her father is dying and he’s taken into custody immediately. She rushes to where her father is and after he passes away, someone breaks into their room and demands money. Can they save themselves or will Blue lose the woman he has fallen in love with?
Short review because didn’t want to give any of it away. Action, steamy and mystery. The book is not very long but keeps you turning the page. I always read Katie’s stories and can’t wait for her next book.

Blue is a caring guy, “You’ve been through a lot. Your body needs the fuel now. And you’ll sleep better.” Blue likes to make sure others know his woman is spoken for, “hey, sweetheart,” he murmured, covering the distance across the hardwood floor in seconds . Before she could rise, he’d taken his place next to her, brushing his lips over hers in a way he meant to be possessive because Ivan was there." I liked this book, I fell in love with Blue and Mina.
