This was a fast, fun read. Mallory needs a chance of pace, Rhys needs a nanny. She was not was what he was looking for but his son adores her and she quickly wins over the rest of his staff with her kindness and her cooking. Both have a lot of baggage but the chemistry is outstanding. Loved it!

Mallory Worthington has escaped her cosseted life back home to finally feel in control of her life. She has taken a nanny position as far away from home as possible. Everything’s fine until she meets her boss who is shocked to find she is much younger and more attractive than he was expecting so decides to get a much older replacement. Entertaining.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Mallory Worthington needs a change of scenery. She is tired of being labeled the sick kid or handle with care. What she needs is an escape from the stigma that a cancer diagnosis brings. She signs up with a temp agency and finds herself flying to Southern Florida to be a nanny to a Billionaire. It is a far cry from being a chef but it might be just what she needs.

Rhys Dalton is reclusive to say the least. Living in Flamingo Key with his son Oliver and a handful of trusted employees is just what he needs after losing his wife 3 years ago. He couldn’t protect Beth but he will do whatever it takes to protect Oliver including cutting them off from civilization. Hiring a nanny to help with Oliver’s needs while he works seems the perfect solution, until Mallory shows up on his doorstep. Weren’t nannies old and wrinkled with wool dresses?

Mallory and Rhys find themselves needing each other more than they are willing to admit. Together they bring out the best of each other and can offer more live lessons and love to Oliver. But Mallory is reluctant to share her past with Rhys given his personal history with cancer. That can only mean trouble ahead, right?

A Nanny for the Reclusive Billionaire is the first book I’ve read by Regina Kyle after meeting her in Cincinnati earlier this year. I am regretting now, not having known about her before because her writing style is wonderful. Believable characters with great storyline flow and humor. If you haven’t read anything by Ms. Kyle before make this a one click immediately. I voluntarily read an advance copy without expectation for review. Any and all opinions expressed are my own.

First, let me say how happy I was to find out that Mallory was self-sufficient before she met her billionaire! Many times when I read billionaire romances, whether it be in well-written fanfictions or full length novels, the character that the billionaire falls is not really self-sufficient. Even if they claim that they were fine before the billionaire came into their lives, they were really living in a barely decorated apartment, barely eating, and sometimes even being emotionally hurt by every single person in their lives. Mallory was different. She was an amazing chef who had been making a decent living at her family's restaurant, and then she just decided that she wanted to be out from under her family's name. Sure, her family had babied her ever since her bout with childhood cancer, but she wasn't incapable of functioning without Rhys. This made her fitting character for Rhys to fall in love with. He would not have fallen in love with a woman who could barely take care of herself.

My favorite part of this entire book was definitely seeing Mallory and Rhys' son get closer. Even though his son was very stubborn, like his father, Mallory was determined to find a way into his heart. She refused to let a four-year-old get the best of her, and soon, even he falls for her. It really allowed the family dynamic in this story to blossom.

During the book, I forgot that Mallory had battled cancer in childhood at one point. This book really shines a light on the issues that cancer survivors face on a daily basis. She still has to go get bloodwork done often to make sure cancer hasn't returned, even though her bout with the disease was over a decade ago. Also, some people can't get past the fact that she was so sick at one point in her life, even though that time has passed. By adding these small details, it just makes Mallory's backstory feel more unique yet realistic.

The plot of this story moves fairly quickly, but it wasn't so fast that I felt lost. It also wasn't insta-love, like many of these contemporary romance stories are. The two might have thought the other was pretty/handsome, but they weren't ready to get married in a week.

Also, these romance stories are never complete without a "damsel in distress" scene. Nevertheless, this book puts an interesting spin on this trope. I won't spoil anything, but I was definitely pleasantly surprised.

Overall, this is definitely going on my list for favorite romance novels! I read it in one sitting and was addicted from start to finish, and fell in love with the characters.

I would recommend this book to lovers of adult romance novels with realistic characters.

I received an advance copy of this book and this is my voluntary review.

"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."

Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

This was a quick and enjoyable read for me. Mallory Worthington is a cancer survivor and is trying to get away from her well meaning yet completely overbearing family. She accepts a job on a private island off the coast of Florida. Mallory becomes the nanny for Rhys Dalton, a wealthy widower. Rhys is crippled by guilt over his wife’s death in a New York City terror attack. His way of coping involves he and his son isolated on the island.

I read this book in one sitting. It had all the feels---a handsome widower, a courageous cancer survivor, and a motherless little boy on a tropical island. What’s not to like? It is definitely a feel good romance with a HEA. It was fluffy but I really enjoyed it.

This was a fun contemporary romance featuring the tried and true romantic trope of the employer falling for the nanny. However, I enjoyed the fact that Rhys didn't want to hire Mallory at all because she wasn't "old and gray like Mrs. Doubtfire." Having lost his wife, Rhys didn't want any temptation in his house so he fired her on first sight. Fortunately she was able to get a one week reprieve as they looked for a replacement. nanny. Sure the outcome was predictable but the story itself was enjoyable since it was filled with likeable characters and made for a fun afternoon read.

My first read by Regina Kyle is one I can class an absolute winner and A Nanny for the Reclusive Billionaire was the perfect introduction to her writing.

“Rhys was Captain von Trapp. Cold. Impersonal. Emotionally unavailable. And she was his Fräulein Maria, the sweet, innocent maiden sent to help heal his wounds and make his family whole again.”

This story literally had it all, the sexy brooding and struggling single Dad, his cute-as-a-button little boy and the spitfire nanny who arrives and, after some initial hiccups, steals the hearts of both father and son.

“For the first time in a long time he wanted something more, a real connection with someone who shared not only his bed but his hopes, his dreams, his life.”

To get the balance right without the deceased spouse feeling like they’re a third wheel for me isn’t easy, but Kyle nailed it and whilst Rhys is filled with guilt over his loss, burying himself in his work, it never overshadows his building feelings for Mallory or rediscovering the joys of being a dad to Oliver.

“...you crashed into my life like an asteroid and changed everything.”

Another author who’s placed herself on my must-read list.

5 - He shouldn't want her... It was wrong on every level. Stars!

I love a good romance with a little of the forbidden added to the mix. Although I think the best thing about the Nanny/Single parent trope a lot of the time is the addition to kids into the mix of the story. And as much as I loved Rhys and Mallory’s story, the author absolutely nailed it Rhys’s son Oliver.

She wasn’t going to let herself become a walking cliché…

The other huge plus for me with A Nanny for the Reclusive Billionaire was that it is the first book I have read by Regina Kyle, and I knew without doubt after the first couple of chapters that she is someone I will be reading more from in the future.

The intensity of their connection shocked her. It was like for that brief slice of time they shared one breath, one pulse, one heartbeat…

Nothing massively new or unusual with the plot, this is definitely one of those stories that lives up to the blurb, but Regina gave me a great couple, an adorable little boy, a beautiful location, and some really well written sexy-times to keep me entertained. So much so, that I could have happily read a few more chapters of this couples coming together after the inevitable drama the pulled them apart, or an extended epilogue.

Nevertheless, this is an author who has stepped straight onto my auto-buy list with just this one book, I enjoyed it that much.

A man, a woman and a little boy. Three people in a love story. It doesn't get much better than this.
Mallory does a cut and run from her family after years of being treated like a fragile flower, applying for a job far away from her family, their business and her old life. She signs on to take the job as a nanny for a young boy who's father is a wealthy recluse and lives on an island in the Florida keys.
Her things are shipped ahead, she arrives with one bag and before she can even put her feet in the door, her new boss promptly fires her. Rhys lost his wife a few years ago and blames himself for her death. Pulling up stakes and moving to this island so he could keep his child in a setting he deems safe is what he does. He's too busy making money and managing his businesses so he employs a full time housekeeper and a long time friend who also serves as a driver, all hands on deck type of guy. He also doles out great advice. The nanny is in change of his son and there is a strict schedule that needs to be kept. Wow, this man was frustration in a pair of khaki's which he wore extremely well!!
After having been talked into giving her a chance and knowing they couldn't get a replacement there he agrees to let her stay. Mallory is also a premiere chef and immediately has little Oliver won over.
Oliver is a real treat in this story, such a contrast to his grouchy father. Rhys's problem was he was attracted to Mallory and felt guilty for those feelings as well. Mallory hasn't told Rhys about her past and why exactly a 5 star chef is working as a nanny. Mallory sees that Rhys's lack of involvement with his son isn't good so tries to draw him out. Risky move at times, but it starts to stick and the chemistry between the two of them was ridiculously hot. Holy steaming kindles! Paper and fire these two. Whew! Ah but is there a bump in the road for these two? Maybe so. His past, her past and nothing like the present. I love a good love story and this one tops it all!
5 humid Florida stars

Having read The Billionaire in her Bed about Brooke Worthington, I received an arc about Brooke's sister Mallory. And guess what? She also lands a billionaire... What are the odds?? However, I think I liked Brooke's story better than Mallory's.
Mallory is trying to escape her overbearing parents after having survived cancer at an early age. She is being smothered by her mother and she desperately wants to start over somewhere, where she isn't 'the survivor' or 'the patient'. So she signs up at an agency, which gives her an assignment as a nanny for a reclusive billionaire. Rhys is living on a desolated island with his son Oliver. He moved him there after the murder of his wife, because he wants to shelter his son from the outside world.
When Mallory arrives at the island, Rhys takes one look at her and decides to fire her on the spot (because she is not gray, old and wrinkled, just like Mrs. Doubtfire). However, Mallory really doesn't want to go home, so she is not about to leave. Urged by his other staff, Rhys promises to give Mallory one week to show her worth.
And what do you know: Rhys and Mallory are attracted to each other and they have a lovely week....
So, in all, a sugary sweet story. But since I'm more into sassy girls and bad mouthed guys, I tend to like Brooke better. However, still three out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Mallory Worthington is a chef who's in desperate need for a change, and so she finds herself a Nanny/Chef for Rhys Dalton, a tech billionaire who lives on a private island with his 4 year old son. Rhys' wife died a few years prior and he's now doing everything he can to keep his son safe.

This is your typical billionaire falling for the nanny romance. Naturally at first the MC is very much against going there with his nanny, but his kid changes his mind. But it's written well, it flows and it's a genuinely fun read, so I had a blast gulping it down during one leg of my flight.

This was fun, and I might just check more of Kyle's titles.

Mallory has come to Rhys' private island in the Florida Keys to watch over his son Oliver.

She trained and worked as a chef at her family's hotel in New York, but took the nanny job as a way to get out on her own.

He moved to the island to keep himself and Oliver safe after his wife is killed, but has been able to run his business from there.

Mallory is willing to stand up to Rhys and has strong convictions about life. It was nice that she wasn't just saying yes or telling him he's right. If she thinks things she need to change she tells him.

The best part of this book is definitely Oliver! He is an adorable and sweet little boy. He added a lot of humor and sweetness to the story.

This is a quick but fun read. There is a book that comes before this one featuring Mallory's sister, but it can be read as a standalone.

I really enjoyed this book. It's sexy, funny and endearing. I can't wait for her next book in this series.

Rhys likes to be somewhat of a gentleman, “not here,” he growled, moving toward the one hall in the house she’d never gone down—the one that led to the master bedroom. “Our first time is not going to be on my godda*n living room couch.” Rhys is always thinking ahead, “then I thought we’d follow that up with a walk on the beach and a night in my bed.” I liked this book, I loved Rhys.

I received an arc from Netgalley. I thoroughly enjoyed this romance. Mallory has felt sheltered for so long after a diagnosis and when she goes to work for Rhys and his adoring son both find Love is the recipe for a happy life.

Great read and definitely 5 stars.

This one is a little predicatble but then not really. Rhys needs a nanny after losing his wife. He doesnt have time for everything. With the help of his assistant Collins they find Mallory. Thanks to Rhys not paying attention when she shows up on the island his life is gonna get messed up.

This is a quicker read but still packs a punch. Mallory is one atrong woman. Especially with everything she has gone through, i feel like shes the perfect fit for this family. Just what they need. It was pulling and engaging and seriously enjoyed it.

Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC. So here is my honest review. I really enjoyed the book, and it an easy and fast read. The storyline is a little far fetched with the hiring of a nanny with no experience. The billionaire Rhys relies on his staff to bring him a candidate which he briefly interviews by phone. The candidate Mallory is a beautiful young cancer survivor and wants to leave who overbearing family to find her wings. When Mallory does arrive on the island Rhys wants to send her packing because he does not want to dishonor his late wife, who died years ago. The book is somewhat predictable but again a fun romantic read for the summer...
