This is a sweet love story with likable characters but I have read this same trope so many times that I wished this one time, Author could have given us something new. Still a good read to pass a rainy day though....

Sharon Kendrick has brought her reader a story with a real Cinderella feel and it started out great, but as the story progressed I went from very much liking the hero to the very opposite.

“I don’t particularly want to marry anyone, the difference is that I’m prepared to marry you.”

He semi redeemed himself by the end but he wasn’t my cuppa I’m afraid. Nevertheless it wasn’t a struggle to read, this couple definitely burn the sheets and the epilogue made me smile.

I am not sure what I expected but it was a nice read. I found some things a bit unbelievable which takes away from the book.

Shy housekeeper Molly Millar always tries her best. She’s anxious to impress outrageously wealthy houseguest Salvio de Gennaro, but instead is unfairly criticized by her employer! When she’s found sobbing by Salvio, he comforts her…with the most amazing experience of her life. But when that incredible encounter costs Molly her job, Salvio rescues her with an irresistible proposition: become his temporary housekeeper—just in time for Christmas!

Love Sharon Kendrick as an author this book was a good read. Re-education for what marriage is all about for both characters. Molly wants to be wanted and Salvio not knowing what love is.

A quick Christmas read. Total enjoyable fairy tale and would recommend for those wanting simply a perfect romance with "rich handsome man and a woman with a few flaws". Would put on a Christmas romance list.

The Italian's Christmas Housekeeper told Salvio and Molly's love story. From the moment he saw the voluptuous housekeeper, Salvio was enchanted. This HEA was filled with passion, good characters and a storyline that kept a smile on my face.

Memorable Quote:

Isn't this what every woman would want to hear? Thank you, Netgalley

Usually the hero starts out bad and eventually he becomes a nice person, but in this story the hero was OK and as the story developed he started to show some really bad sides to his personality. I could not like him after he treated the heroine (who by now is his wife) as if she had no right to voice an opinion just because she came from a humble background. In my opinion, the heroine needed to make him work more for her forgiveness. He did not show any remorse. I did not like this book because the hero was a snob and the heroine did not have an idea about self-worth. I received a free copy via NetGalley.

I so very much enjoyed this book. It is a quick, sizzling hot read. Molly and Salvio have instant, electric chemistry. I very quickly fell under the spell which Sharon Kendrick wove with her book. The settings were described in such a romantic way, I must find a way to celebrate Christmas in Naples this year. The Italian's Christmas Housekeeper is a book I would recommend to anyone who adores romance or who is looking to get familiar with the genre.

3.5 stars - A good contemporary romance with a Cinderella maid-to-billionaire wife plotline. There's an unplanned pregnancy necessitating a wedding, with some small twists along the way. The ending was very sweet.
