This is a really interesting and thought provoking read that helps readers consider their own preconceptions about how we deal with death in a light way. This has humour, an interesting mix of romantic and non romantic relationships and a breezy dialogue.
Thanks for the early review copy!
I recommend this novel to fans of contemporary novels. It was well-written and interesting novel.
I would like to thank both NetGalley and Troubadour Publishing Limited for giving me the opportunity to read ‘Edna’s Death Cafe’ in exchange for my honest unbiased review.
Story is lovely- Based on Edna who has lost her partner and decides to start a club where people local to the village can talk about death , and the lose of loved ones. It’s written with such beauty, tacked, softness and tastefulness.
Yet unfortunately I found difficulty in connecting to the novel. I just could not get into the flow of it. I think that was more of a personal level.
I found that it bounced around everywhere. I really wanted to like/enjoy it but just couldn’t.
