I have loved the Sinclair family ever since Dante and Sarah’s story in No Ordinary Billionaire. So when I saw this book was the beginning of the West Coast Sinclairs, I snapped it up. This story is about Jade Sinclair and Eli Stone. Jade is the twin sister of Brooke from Only a Millionaire. We last heard the West Coast Sinclair siblings had just became overnight billionaires. Jade is actually not taking this change too well, she is feeling out of sorts in this new world of the wealthy and actually feeling a bit guilty. So when the opportunity to learn from Eli, who was born wealthy, she reluctantly decided to go for it. Eli has not made it a secret that he wants Jade in his bed so he will do whatever he can to get her there. Unfortunately he does not believe in commitment and Jade is not willing to be another notch on his bedpost.

I am not quite sure how I felt about their story. Eli has most of the qualities I love in an alpha, he’s determined, he is possessive, and very protective but the problem I had was we really didn’t know what the reasons for his not wanting to commit until really late in the book. Even if he kept saying all he wanted was sex, but his actions showed that was not completely true, he was considerate and very sweet to Jade and when the opportunity came, he didn’t take it. I just wanted to know what his issues were sooner.

As for Jade, I loved her passion for wildlife conservation and that she was the kick-ass survivalist. I felt sad for the way she felt about herself but as the story went on and she started to take charge of her new circumstances, she grew to see her worth.

There was some conflict that separated the couple for a couple weeks and I was frustrated with how they got there but I was happy it got resolved. So all in all this was a good story, I am actually looking forward to Jade and Brooke’s brothers stories, especially Aiden and Skye,

I had a hard time with how many stars to give, I finally settled at 3.5 and rounded up to 4. I did have a hard time with Eli and his commitment issues and not knowing why and even though they got their HEA I wasn’t really sold on how they got there, Even with all this, I did like Eli’s reaction to Jade when he wasn’t being a jerk and I did love the relationships between the siblings.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read this advanced copy. All opinions are my own.
