A big thank you to NetGalley and Hocus Pocus Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is book 6 in the series. I have not read them all. This reads well as a stand alone. I really liked this book. The characters were engaging and strong. This is the story of Savannah a kidnapped senator's daughter, and Jett a decorated Seal super soldier. Wow. The story is an intrigueing, complex, convoluted, intense, sensual story with a hint of paranormal.. The twists and turns will keep you wondering! Great read A solid 4 stars. I think most romance readers who enjoy a little intrigue will enjoy this book.

Hold On Tight is book six of the Lazarus Rising Series by Cynthia Eden. Told in two parts, the past when Jett is part of Lazarus, then it moves to a period three months later when life for him has drastically changed. The characters are flawed but better than they believe themselves to be. Jett is alpha strong, but the emphasis is not on that so much in this book, which I approve. Savannah is gullible but not stupid. There is nothing wrong in thinking the best of others. Then it has just the right blend of suspense, danger and romance.

Hold On Tight reads well as a stand-alone which is not what I would say for all the books in the series. The first three are tied together closely with this story having a connection to the fifth book where Jett plays a big supporting role. However, it is not necessary to have read that book to thoroughly enjoy Hold on Tight. Also, some of the characters from the first three books have a minor role in Jett’s and Savannah’s story. A couple of new characters come into the story, so it will be interesting to see if more about them come in future books.

The big question is - Can you read this one only and not want to go straight out and get the entire series. No, I think this one will hook you into the near future science fiction romance series.

Jett just can't help humself at times, “Baby, you have got one killer ***.” She slammed the door shut behind her. He probably should have kept that last comment to himself. But her *** truly was stellar." Jett is an honest man, “actually, when I just see you, I want to eff you.” Now he was staring straight at her. “It’s pretty much a constant situation for me, whenever you’re around..." I loved this book, I adored Jett.

ANOTHER THRILL RACING, PASSIONATE, SIZZLING HOT ROMANCE IN THE LAZARUS RISING SERIES BY CYNTHIA EDEN THAT HAD ME BLOWING MY MIND!

I am ADDICTED, OBSESSED, SHAKING WITH THE NEED TO READ ALL THE BOOKS IN THIS SERIES. And Hold Me Tight was the most action packed as of yet in this series. I liked Jett a LOT and Savannah, she is also incredible and so very special. This particular book was full of excitement and there was a TON of seat-of-your-pants-action and some sweet surprises and heart melting scenes. These Lazarus men and women are incredible and the men make my mouth water and give me ALL the happy sighs. I recommend this book, heck the WHOLE series for a thrilling, action-packed ride!

Hold On Tight gets a MARVELOUS FIVE BIG GOLDEN SPARKLING STARS!

For having the same theme in each book of the Lazarus Rising series, the author is doing a very good job of changing things around to keep this story line fresh.

We have already met Maddox, Luna and Jett in book 5. In book 6 the author stepped it back a bit to see these three in an earlier time frame. By doing this, we were able to see Jett and Savannah meet, what brought them together and why.

I'm a big fan of this series because it has a lot of what I enjoy. It's heavy on the romantic suspense.
The heroes are very protective and have jealous/possessive tendencies towards the heroines.

Due to the nature of the storyline, each hero is enhanced. They are all ex-military who have been killed in the line of duty and given a drug that brings them back to life. This drug also enhances their senses, strength and gives them a paranormal gift. The government is trying to keep them contained but they are finding that isn't possible.

I find it a pretty exciting series. I love the idea of enhanced soldiers and I love that these men basically recognize their mates and will do everything they can to protect them. If you are into that kind of thing, this is the series for you. ARC provided by NetGalley.
