As far as second chance romances go, this one was very good. It was exactly like I want an SCR to be. This is the second book of this genre I got to read today and I hated the first one, but I loved this. The main characters were in love with each other and they stayed celibate during the separation. I couldn't ask for anything more. The whole premise of the series is a little over the top, so I wasn't expecting much from this book, but the romance was good which was an unexpected but welcome surprise.

Nearing my 300 goals I decided on the weekend to start clearing some older titles from my devices and came across Bidding for Keeps by K. Webster and knew it would be a fun easy read as I love my college fiction and anything by K.Webster. Bidding For Keeps takes us into the world of the sorority Beta Kappa Nu. They are raising money for the local animal shelter which had burned down and hurt some of the local firemen including one of Beta Kappa Nu's own brothers Shane. The girls are trying to raise money but they can't seem to rake in the big bucks. That is until Vivi makes a suggestion on how they can earn some money but they have to be careful about it as it borders on the line of illegal. She has suggested that they run an auction and auction off their virginity. She lies on her post and says she is a virgin, yet she has slept with only one person - the person who broke her heart years ago. Vivi is bid on and ends up being brought for $20,000 which is a lot of money and she can't believe it. It is the day of meeting the buyer and she is hoping they aren't some old pervert. What happens though when the bidder turns out to be the one person she never thought she would see again and someone who ruined her? This time Vivi is holding her cards close to her chest as she vowed never to let him break her again. Can the mystery guy woo Vivi back into his heart and clutches? Can he prove to her that he has changed and that he was in a tight spot years ago and the truth is he never wanted to let her go?

3.5 stars. I love this author and this was probably the sweetest book i've read from her. Like super sugary sweet. I liked the bit of a twist regarding her virginity (or rather lack of). It was good but it didn't leave a lasting impression.
This is my favourite of this series but my least favourite from this author.

This is the beginning of a series where a sorority is auctioning their virginity for charity for a worthy cause.

The animal shelter where they volunteer caught fire and now they are trying to save the animals and to help with medical bills of one sorority's sisters brother who was injured in the fire.

Vivi is in the charity event even though she has a secret.....and when a bid comes in for her at $25,000.00, no one is more shocked than her. But she's in for a bigger surprise!! Dallas!! A blast from the past!

Like I said, I love these quick reads.......basically meet, fall for each other, f*ck, and you get an HEA or HFN!

As usual a spicy bite from K. Webster. Sexy in the right places with fantastic characters. I know this is part of the Dirty Bits line, but I can't help wishing this book was longer, so I could have had more to enjoy!

That was one dirty bite written by K. Webster. Short story with tons of naughty and a strong hint of sugary sweet.
The secret side of the sorority, when some of the girls auction off their virginities to the biggest bidder.
So the beginning was showing the heroine desperate to raise money to help her friend and turned for a surprising choice, to give her virginity to a stranger. Turning out that he wasn’t really one, more like a ghost from her past. The one who was bidding for keeps and not for a one time thing.
As a short story it was kinda difficult to really connect with the characters at some point. I had trouble with the choice of words and I felt it wasn’t really fitted.
The hero was a bit of stalker and she felt like too dependent on him, there was a lot of sex, and it didn’t give time to really enjoyed the background, the relationship between Vivienne and Dallas.
Maybe it was a choice from the author but I couldn’t get really along with it.

This story was super short and sweet. The characters were amazing. I want more, but also wouldn’t change a thing.

Bidding for Keeps is just incredible and I just couldn’t stop smiling nor reading whenever these Dirty Bits books come out I have to get my hands on these books as I absolutely love them and this one is no different. The chemistry is so electric, that it just flies off the pages as your reading. It is steamy, passionate, and full of deep love throughout the books. The characters are going to knock your socks off with there chemistry and stories. The series of books just get better and better with every book they released.

This was a really hot read but it was also a really sweet second chance romance as well. This is a really well written fast paced read and is a super addition to this multi-author series I have read several and they have not been in order and I have really enjoyed them. A really great read I would recommend it.

K Webster is so talented , her stories are fantastic.This one isn't an exception.I devour it, it was a quick and sexy read as much as I wanted to be.

And here marks the next series in Carina Press' Dirty Bits. This one is all about a sorority who are a bunch of good and caring girls, only wanting to help one of their sisters as her brother, a fire fighter, was burned in a fire at an animal shelter. To help pay his medical bills as well as help the shelter, these girls are going to auction off their virginity. Yeah, that's right. THEIR VIRGINITY.

Is that even legal? Who cares, right? It's for charity! After I stopped rolling my eyes at the story prompt for these few books, I dug in and read them all in a day. Some better than others. Some of these girls aren't actually virgins, and some of the stories had me cringing. What they didn't have me doing was putting them down.

Yes, they're silly and sort of ridiculous, but I needed the escape they granted me so, here's to Carina Press and their Dirty Bits books. I will always pick them up, no matter what.

A second chance romance about a girl trying to sell her (non-existant) virginity in order to help pay for her friend's brother medical bills. Little that she knows, someone from her past has seen her add and is about to collect his beloved prize!! OMG, I just love this short, quick but fascinating read so freaking much!!

The story is very sweet and nothing like I have read before from this author, and let me tell you, is just absolutely amazing! Author K Webster has a gift, and whether is dark romance, contemporary romance, suspenseful romance, taboo, or any other genre, she always delivers her best work and never disappoints her fans.

I loved Vivi and Dallas. A little bit of the forbidden love type thing going on for them, given that Dallas was the best friend of Vivi's older brother..... That made things a little difficult for these two to fully confess their feelings to the world and be able to have the relationship that they should have. So, after finally confessing their feelings to one another, they had one glorious night, and then they were robbed of what could have been- for years.
I have to say that I adored Vivi's dedication to her friends, and to the cause when she decided to participate in the "virginity" auction, even if it was a direct threat to her safety. Not knowing who could have "won" her was a really stupid and naive move on her part, in my opinion. That part did rub me the wrong way and put me in the mindset of Vivi being one of the clueless heroines in the horror movies you see on TV.
That said, at least it all worked out in the end for her, even if she didn't quite agree at the time.
I loved the naughty deliciousness that K Webster gives us when Dallas and Vivi are finally reunited and can finally let their love and passion be explored to its full extent, because it is Kindle melting- that's for sure. This one is a definite 5 star for me, and I'd love to get more little bites like this from Kristy in the future!!

I enjoyed this one. It was sweet, it was short. Like super short that it’s hard to say much more except Dallas & Vivi are perfect together.

Who doesn't dream about true love? Well this is a cute short read that will deliver just that.

Vivi is the daughter of a very wealthy man, but after he refuses to help her sorority pay for a sister's brothers medical care, she's left with no choice but to help come up with the funds herself. But the way in which she intends to raise the money isn't exactly...PC. Nope, they're auctioning off their virginity. One problem though, she's not a virgin. She lost that to her childhood crush, who then crushed her emotionally.

Dallas was stuck between a rock and a hard place. More specifically, love and his best friend. He thought he was doing the right thing by walking away from the one person he truly felt for, but there was no way he was giving up. And when he sees that she's auctioning off the virginity he took, he finally steps back in to her life. Only will she take him back after he crushed her?

Such a cute short read with a HEA. Although I don't agree with what the sorority sisters are doing, the purpose behind it is heart felt. Thankfully someone was looking out for Vivi or it could have gone really wrong. That being said, super cute HEA that literally took less than two hours to read.

Bidding for Keeps is the first in the Dirty Bits' Sorority Secrets series. Vivi participates in a virginity auction to raise money for a good cause, however she's not prepared for who gets the winning bid! This is a short novella you can read in one sitting. It's equal parts hot and erotic and sweet second chance romance.

This was such a cute brother's best friend slash second chance romance. Vivi was worried about the person bidding on her virginity finding out she was no longer a virgin, never imagining that the man she gave it away to would be the won to win her. I loved how she and Dallas still wanted each other after almost four years apart. Dallas wasn't allowing anyone to get their hands on his woman. He gave her up once, but now he was ready to lay his claim on her forever. This was one hot and sweet novella!

Very short read but I enjoyed this one. I think I would have enjoyed it way more though as a full fleshed novel. But this is my first K. Webster book and I really enjoyed her writing style. Also this is a friends to lovers story and that is one of my favourite tropes after enemies to lovers!

Knwebster has done it again. Her books always seem to be fresh and drawn me in. This was a cute little read that I was drawn into from the start.
