Bidding for Keeps is a bit different from what I'm used to from K. Webster (the most taboo aspect is the auction), but I still enjoyed it. Quick and hot (what I've come to love and expect from Dirty Bits) and oddly sweet - then again I'm a sucker for second chance romances. I think I'm going to enjoy the Sorority Secrets series. I'm really starting to wish that this imprint came in paperback because then I'd be compelled to collect them all! 3.5 out 5 wine glasses.

Bidding for Keeps is part of the ‘Dirty Bits’ series from Carina Press, they are super short, and might I add, super steamy. This is the second ‘Sorority Secrets’ I’ve had the pleasure of reading. So far, both following the would be auctioning of The Beta Kappa Nu girls’ virginity. All with a little twist, and all for a very worthy cause. Bidding for Keeps follows Vivi Prescott and Dallas Monroe, two strong, emotional characters, who I have to say I would have loved to have learned more about. I loved the premise behind the story, a story that’s been told many a time, and one I could have quite happily read in a full length novel. Wonderful writing, a predictable and extremely sexy storyline, and a very quick read. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

As always K did not disappoint. The story was a fun short read but very steamy. This book sucked me in and I found myself saying just one more chapter until I reached the end.

Not gonna lie. I am slightly obsessed with these Dirty Bits! ALL OF THEM. This story was equal parts sweet and dirty. Just the perfect blend. A short second chance romance that will warm your heart ♥️ and make your girlie parts tingle all at the same time :)

I'm fairly new when it comes to K. Webster's novels so I had no idea what to expect from Bidding For Keeps. Honestly, when I first read the blurb to this novel, I knew I needed to request a copy. I was so damn intrigued by this plot and even though it seems like it would be a popular subject in the romance world, I have never read a novel like this before. A girl auctioning off her fake virginity to the highest bidder in order to help pay for her sorority sister's brothers hospital bills...hell yeah, I'm all in! But then things quickly get even more interesting. The winner of the bid happens to be a man from Vivi's past... and the plot thickens.

I loved Dallas, I thought he was the perfect male specimen. I love my male hero's to be swoony with a villainous side and Dallas did not disappoint! he's kind of a perfect mixture of the devil and an angel...it was slightly confusing but in a good way. K. Webster sure knows how to light a kindle on fire with all that sexyness! I honestly had to fan myself a couple of times. Dallas is sexy as sin!

I was a little disappointed with how short this novel was. 54 pages, it only took me an hour and a half to read. But throughout the novel there was enough substance that by the end I didn't feel like I was missing anything or like I wanted more.

Overall, Bidding For Keeps is a great short but sexy read. If you're looking for something outside of the box, this is the novel to pick up.

Well this was 30 minutes of fun. They really mean quick and dirty. It was nice to read something light by this author. I’ve only ever read her darker books, so this one was cute. Short and sweet.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by Netgalley)...

This is a second chance romance.

This is a very short novella about Vivi and Dallas, her older brother’s best friend. I really liked the idea of the story but the flow was very fast paced. I did enjoy seeing some flashbacks between Vivi, Dallas and Nolan. However, the resolution was very quick and felt rushed but again this is a very short read.

I could understand why Dallas did what he did but that really wasn’t the best reason to leave the only girl he ever loved. As for Vivi, she did somewhat come off as a sad little rich girl who’s whole being revolved around Dallas; which showed in her actions when Dallas reappeared in her life.

I did like the story but I wanted more than just instant forgiveness followed by an obsessive love (ex. Major crying because she had to leave him to go to class).

This was probably the sweetest (and shortest) book I have ever read by K. Webster. In fact, it was so short I don't even know what to say about other than I enjoyed it. *shrug* It was sugary sweet. There wasn't a drop of angst or OW/OM drama. It wasn't particularly spicy, and it was undoubtedly underdeveloped. That said, these books aren't meant to be anything more than quick fun reads. So I won't complain too much. I am looking forward to checking out the other books coming up in the series.

A little surreal but exciting romantic and very steamy. She never thought she will get another chance with the love of her life, The same one that broke her heart. But she also didn’t know that he kept an eye on her. Extreme measures end up giving her a surprise and a chance for them to re-connect, a chance that he will not waste. And in the meantime with every page you read you will be fanning yourself. This short story is just sexy and super romantic.

Vivi Prescott loves Beta Kappa Nu. It’s her escape after a lifetime of living under her wealthy father’s overbearing thumb. She’ll do anything to help her sisters, including auction off her virginity to the highest bidder. She gave that up three and a half years ago. Right there in the back of her brother’s best friend’s pickup truck. Dallas Monroe was a smug country boy with a dirty ball cap, torn jeans and a perpetual smirk. He showed her what pleasure could be, then let her go without a fight. When I started reading I couldn't put it down.K Webster is magnifysent writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can't wait for the next book.

Dallas tries to do things the right way, "his darkened eyes rake over my dress and he rubs at the back of his neck. “We’re going to have ***, beautiful. But I’ve effin’ missed you like crazy. I thought we could catch up first.” Dallas would give his woman the world if she wanted, “if that’s what you want, that’s what I’ll give you.” I liked this book, I loved Dallas.

3,5 stars.

This is the second ‘Dirty Bits’ I read and I still don’t like the whole virginity auction-thing as the idea just puts me off. However, I always like the ‘little sister of best friend’/ ‘brother’s best friend’ trope so I couldn’t resist.

The story is very short so quite condensed. In short: the man who won the auction of Vivi is her brother’s best friend and love of her life Dallas. It is not really erotica, just a short novella with some sex.

Written quite well but indeed just a ‘Dirty Bit’ :-)

When I started this read I never realized how short it would be. With that being said, this was such a great read with no dull moments. I enjoyed Dallas and Vivi's characters. Their friendship and the connection they had was undeniable from the very beginning. This is a great story for readers looking for a short, steamy and funny romance read that will make you laugh out loud, roll your eyes at the corny but sweet lines, and keep you entertained until the very end.

Vivi is auctioning off her “virginity” through her sorority for a good cause, and an old flame of hers is more than eager to claim what he knows has always been his. Even though he left his chance behind long ago one hot country summer night.

A surprisingly sweet second chance romance from K Webster. Don’t get me wrong Bidding for Keeps still has a hot alpha, a feisty heroine, and is a quick and smutty read, but this one also has a second chance romance that will make you say, “aww!”

If you’re looking for a quick, smutty, and sweet, second chance romance, then you need to read Bidding for Keeps!
