This was so incredibly sweet and sexy. I had a lot of fun reading it and thought it was really entertaining. The Blackshaw brothers totally do it for me!

I thought Chase and Harper were great and I loved their attraction. I loved their growing feelings and their electric chemistry. I enjoyed watching Harper work through her struggles and figure out what she wants to do in life and how Chase was there for her. Chase was a total sweetheart and made me melt. He had his own dilemmas happening and I felt for him but loved that he could find comfort in Harper. Together they were super sexy. There was a whole lot of sweet happening but there was a nice mix of emotion as well. I thought it had a nice balance.

I enjoyed the secondary characters. The Blackshaw brothers are their own brand of charming. I liked the male bonding moments immensely, I'm a sucker for that. I also loved Harper’s relationship with her brother. I thought that was really sweet. There were a lot of great moments throughout that had me smiling.

I loved the story and details and thought there was good character development. I really liked that there were a few other stories woven in and thought it all worked together well. This was just sweet and fun, full of goodness and made me happy to read. There's a nice bit of light drama mixed into their growing relationship that kept things lively and moving along.

This was just a great solid read with likable characters that made me smile. It was an excellent friends to lovers story. They were just so genuine, sweet, and sexy, and I really enjoyed it.

Another great visit to the Kinky Spurs from Stacey Kennedy. If you love your cowboys sexy, sweet and a little on the dirty side, this is an absolute must read. Can’t wait for the final book in the series.

This is the 2nd book in the Kinky Spurs series. You don't have to read the first book in order to understand this one but I recommend it since it does show the different relationships and how certain things in this book come to be. This one is about Harper Mckinney and Chase Blackshaw. Chase has just opened his construction company and is building the guest cabins for his family's new venture. With everything happening in his life he doesn't really need anything else to go wrong. Harper has put her dreams on hold for years after her parents passed away unexpectedly. She came back home after culinary school and waited, thinking that with the chemistry her and Chase had that maybe something might happen. But since nothing has happened, it is time for her to move on. But when Chase finds out she is leaving, he decides that it is time to have at least this time with her before she leaves. Neither realizing how much things in their lives will change.

I absolutely loved this book!! Chase is most definitely a sweet man who always tries to do things for other people even when they don't ask for it. He always puts everyone first. Harper is awesome! She has an awesome attitude and definitely doesn't put up with amy crap from anyone. And together they are explosive and perfect. And after reading that epilogue, I need to read Nash's book now!!!

Chase is just as yummy as his brother. We all know a week was going to never be enough even though that week was HAWT! He was willing to let Harper go follow her dreams. She was willing to stay and fight for both of them.

Can't wait for the third brother to fall for his enemy...and you know he is.

Sweet Loving Cowboy continues the Blackshaw brothers’ saga as they work to turn their family ranch around from a failing ranch to a guest ranch. Although you could pick this story up on its own, events and people flow through this series, and you’ll have a better understanding of the background if you’ve read Dirty Talking Cowboy – in my opinion.

Chase and Harper’s romance has layers to it, for there is far more going on than their hot and intense week together before she leaves town for a dream mentor chance with a talented Las Vegas chef. Both have their dreams and are working toward making them a reality, perhaps not in the way they originally planned but they aren’t letting those dreams go. Add into the mix the fact that Harper’s brother, Brody is Chase’s best friend and they have that “stay away from my sister” tensions to deal with as well. Both are strong, loyal and determined, each has, in some way, set aside their dream temporarily. Although Chase has been aware of Harper’s crush for a long time, he’s stuck to that hands off deal right up until it’s obvious that Harper is about to leave town. They have about one week, why not spend that time finally seeing what they really have between them. Their chemistry burns up the pages, and yes there is some kink to their sexiness, but that’s not the while story only a part of what they are together.

I enjoyed my time in Sweet Loving Cowboy. While it’s a quick read, there is a depth to the story and characters that will draw you in to their situation and admire, even support their decisions. We’ll get a chance to catch up with old friends, maybe get a touch of what is to come in Hard Riding Cowboy. If you like your Romance intense, sexy and enjoy going deeper into the lives of characters, then you’d enjoy this story. I’d recommend Sweet Loving Cowboy without hesitation.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

Fabulous Read! Book 2 in the Kinky Spurs series, Sweet-Loving Cowboy is awesome. Chase is definitely the whole package and every woman’s cowboy and the confused, lovable Harper is the girl for him. A well written storyline with amazing character made this a pleasure to read and I look forward to reading more. If you have not read this fabulous author, make sure you look Stacey Kennedy up today!!

Life, and the choices we make, move whether we want them to or not. The things we want, the things that seem important, change and evolve as the things we encounter change and evolve.

I loved that this title addressed this, and that it allowed life to change around the characters of Chase and Harper.

Chase and Harper have chemistry...and very different paths for their lives. Chase has built his dream in their small town, and Harper has life plans that take her out of Colorado to Las Vegas. Add in a promise not to take her dreams from her, and a short term week-long relationship before she leaves (that, of course, won't complicate anything) and you have an interesting and enjoyable story about 2 people who are taking a chance on something life handed them, that they think is going to be temporary.

And, then they have to deal with it when they find out that maybe it's not temporary. And, that maybe neither of them want it to be. In a lot of ways, dealing with the changing of their dreams, and the new things they want, is even harder than dealing with the idea that their time together is limited.

The emotions in this book, the pull of the things you think you want vs. the things that appear in life and change your perception, were interesting and I was engaged the entire time.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

I've got to say with every book I read by Stacey Kennedy . I’m turning into a bigger fan of hers.

This story has everything one wants in a book; a strong and hot cowboy who only wants to make his woman happy and not stand in the way of her dreams. On the other side there is a woman who just wants the love of a very special cowboy. I loved how they tackled their relationship and all the obstacles that were in their way. My good how much I loved Chase. That man is everything and then some.
“Chase’s honesty was love. His respect for her was love. His wanting her to be happy was love. His heated touch was love.” Que the swoon :)

This story was fun, sweet and sexy as hell. After finishing this book and reading what comes next I’m more than ready for the next Blackshaw brother.

Overall rating: 4/5

Heroine (Harper): 4/5 She’s just gotten back from the city returning to her small hometown with a degree in culinary arts. She wants to open a restaurant in Vegas but her heart may have other ideas.

Hero (Chase): 5/5 He’s a gentle, single minded cowboy. He’s lived in his small hometown his whole life and runs a small construction company, currently working to build a guest ranch on his family's farm.

Plot: 4/5 When Cowboy turned construction foreman Chase finally takes notice of his best friends little chef sister, it couldn’t be at a worse time. She leaves Colorado for an internship in Vegas in eight days and the pair plan to make the most of what little time they have left together.

Personal Review: The characters feel like real people, the choices they make, make sense for that character. I really liked Chase, he just wants Harper to be happy, whether that be with him or in Vegas following her dreams. I’m not entirely sure they weren’t down for giving a long distance relationship a try, like it didn’t have to be a ‘it’s me or Vegas’ kind of vibe but everyone, especially Harper’s brother Brody certainly treats it like it is. Other than that I did enjoy the story.

Chase and Harper just work so well together. The tension in the beginning of the story was really well done.

I love the set up for Nash and Megan’s story coming out next year. Can’t wait to read it!

One note about veterinary care for a diabetic dog. They receive insulin twice daily after each meal, not the once daily dosing that Houdini gets in the story. Insulin only lasts in a dog’s system for 12 hours and not giving him a dose after dinner could have had negative effects on the dog.

Harper McKinney is made for more than working at Kinky Spurs, the local watering hole in River Rock. She's had her dreams put on hold long enough. The big city is calling and her dreams of being a chef are so close. Only one major issue, she’s in love with her brother’s best friend, Chase Blackshaw.
Chase is trying to make a name for himself and save the family cattle business by created a tourist ranch. But when issues creep up on the build time is working against him. And he only wants to spend his time with Harper. If their time is limited then every minute had to be lived to the fullest.

Chase Blackshaw has been working toward his ultimate goal which is owning his own construction company. That dream has finally come true in his hometown of River Rock Colorado. His life has been planned out and has gone according to the plan. That is until Harper comes back to town.

Harper McKinney has always been known for her cooking. She has always had big dreams of being a chef in Las Vegas. After working hard for many years, that dream is coming true. In a few days she leaves for Vegas and her new life.

Until then, her and Chase plan to use every second getting to know each others bodies in every way imaginable. Add in a cute puppy, a meddling older brother and a small town and you have this story.

I cannot rate this book higher. I only got to roughly 45%. I couldn't go further. Getting to that point took me several days instead of a few short hours. It was only mediocre sex scenes strung together in the loosest possible way. I never cared about the characters. I gave up and moved on.

Smoking hot cowboys. Sinfully sexy young ladies. An adorable puppy and one who needs to be sent to obedience school. The writer explores all the relationship complexities that occur between families, friends and lovers. Chase and Harper try to fight that magnetic sexual attraction between them until they are no longer able to. Once they own it it explodes like wildfire. You will always want to turn the next page to see what position they are going to be in next time.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by Netgalley)...

This is Chase’s story.

Chase has it really bad for his best friend’s, Brody’s, baby sister, Harper, but unfortunately for Chase, Brody is not to happy with his sudden interest towards his sister. Brody wants his sister to achieve her dreams and thinks if Chase gets involved, Harper will stay just to be with him.

I absolutely loved Chase and his feelings for Harper and how he put her needs before his own made, it him totally swoon worthy. Harper had a hard time with her brother’s well meaning overprotectiveness but she didn’t let him over power her own desires. Houdini is absolutely the cutest dog ever :)

I need Nash and Megan’s ASAP, the chemistry between those two is crazy hot and hilarious.

Harper and Chase have always known that going after what they both want, each other, would cause serious problems between chase and her brother, Brody. Harper is in the process of making her dream come true and moving to Vegas to mentor a chef and, hopefully, start her own restaurant. Brody wants nothing to stand in Harper's way and basically forbids both Chase and Harper from pursuing their feelings. Chase gets where Brody is coming from and tries to stay strong and not let Harper know that he is more than interested in her. Harper waits 9 months for Chase to make a move and then decides she is going to move on and see if she can make her dream become a reality..

Chase is busy chasing his own dream and has started his own construction company. His first job is getting the cabins built and ready for his new endeavor with his brothers. Things get even more complicated in his life when he realizes that he needs to man-up and go after what he has wanted with Harper before she leaves, even if it only leaves them with 8 days. Their solidification over taking care of the new puppy, Houdini, that Harper found in a dumpster is the catalyst for Chase making his move.

Although both know that their relationship could become more, neither one is willing at first to make that happen. Their chemistry was off the charts and it only clouds both of their minds. Harper was so caught up in her mother's dream that it took her quite a bit to finally see clearly. Chase was raised by his father to put everyone else's needs first so he is not about to stand in the way of Harper's happiness. Brody decides to interject himself into their relationship at every turn and I thought both of them should have given him more than a piece of their mind. He seemed determined to have Harper leave that he lost sight of trying to listen to what she really wanted to make her happy. I liked how Chase, Harper and Brody all had to realize that life is what you make it, not what you want ti to be all of the time. Their road to happiness , although not smooth, was a good story. I liked how it was all wrapped up in the end.
I received an ARC from NetGalley for my honest review.

4.5⭐
Sweet-Loving Cowboy was such a great read. As it was sexy, entertaining, sweet, light-hearted and fun. And the two main characters Chase and Harper were not only likable, but very charming and engaging. As were the secondary characters, including Chase's two brothers Shep and Nash. As well as Harper's brother Brody.
As for the storyline, it may have been a little slow to start. But it soon picked up and really pulled me in, and in the end I couldn't put it down.
Plus, there was no real drama or angst. Not to mention it was well paced and full of chemistry. And I'm really looking forward to reading more from this series when Nash's story is released in 2019. And I would happily recommend this story to others.

Oh my goodness! This is one sweet, hot, dirty-talking, alpha, kinky when he wants to be, and all around too good to be true (and for his own sake) cowboy who has finally stopped waiting for what (or should I say who) he wants. Did he really think only a week would ever be enough and he would be able to let her go? Harper has waited for 9 months for Chase to make his move since she came back to town and now she has a week left before she is moving to Vegas and all bets are off. Even her brother cannot keep them apart. Add in an abandoned puppy and watch everything twist and turn. This was one wild ride watching them come to grips but was so much fun. When these cowboys fall, they fall hard! I cannot wait to see Nash get his come to Jesus moment in the next installment! Definitely a recommendation from me!

Harper is about to leave for Vegas to start working under a famous chef. After her parents were killed, her brother raised her and her dream has been to open a restaurant in Vegas. Chase has just started a construction company and his first job was to build cabins on their farm to make it a working ranch. He and Harper’s brother have been best friends, when he realizes she’s leaving in eight days he decides to spend as much time with Harper before she leaves. But are the dreams she have are hers or her late mother’s?

Chase is really a sweet, loving cowboy. Harper is a great chef and warm woman. Funny, sexy, and a cute puppy.

Before you can follow your dreams, you have to figure out what they really are.

Harper is at a crossroads. She's back in town and getting ready for the next big step in her career. The plan is to go to Vegas in a week for a coveted mentorship that will lead to her owning her own restaurant. The wrench in the plan is one sexy cowboy who is finally seeing her the way she's always seen him.

Chase made a promise to his best friend (and Harper's brother), Brody, not to interfere in any way with Harper's Vegas plans. But Chase just can't let his one chance with her go by, so he offers Harper a one-week fling, after which they'll part friends and she'll head off to Vegas. Neither of them was prepared for what the coming week would bring.

This was a beautifully written romance, full of heart, humor, and hot sexy times. There's a bit of drama at every turn, encompassing every facet of both Chase's and Harper's lives. It's a truly transformative journey for both of them.

The thing that causes Harper to rethink her plans isn't what everyone thought it would be, and the solution lights up a whole new path for her. I was completely captivated by this story right from the start, and couldn't put it down until I got to the beautiful HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

She dreams of working under a famous mento in Las vegas and it is within her grasp, but he is starting to rethink her plans. She is attracted to Chance and the feeling is mutual but he won't make a move and take her dreams from her but when he finds she has bought her ticket to leave he decides that maybe they should have a few days to remember one another by and that's when things go off the rails he fails a building inspection they inherit a special needs pup and he finds he can't let Harper go Will they have any chance or are they destined for heartbreak you will need to read to see what happens to this star crossed pair
