To me A. L. Long has not produced a mere erotic story, no this is powerful and compelling. A dramatic and deeply psychological character portrait. I hope someday she produces something of a longer and more developed narrative on a larger theme. .

This is the second book in the series. The story is fast-paced and steamy with characters and an excellent story. I loved the intensity of this read and how the characters and the story really drew me in. A good read.

I received an arc from Netgalley. This book has some very uncomfortable topics and felt disconnected to me. The beginning was very confusing as it states she called Mr. Londen to rescue her and then the next thing you know she is leaving Him. It felt like there was a piece missing.
