Sexual frustration had turned Meri into a perv. Cameron Moore/Cam was an ever present fantasy. But he was her brother Dane’s lifelong best friend her been the permanent fixture further back then Neri could remember. But she didn't; want to think about Cameron This was supposed to be a fun filled friend-packed vacation on the beach. But Meri felt melancholy. Insomnia was a familiar if unwelcome companion of hers. Despite not wanting to think about Cam, he invaded Mari's thoughts. He was always there , in just about every conversation, at every get together , he was on this vacation also. Cam was a personal trainer he all but lived in the gym. Tattoos were on his arms and torso. Then she realized the guy having sex above her was Cam. Meredith wished she wasn’t the kind of person whose emotions were on her face. Alyssa was Meri’s best friend. Beside friendship there had never been anything between them. But that didn’t matter she had always wanted Cam, but she was afraid later when she seen him,he’d see the heartache. Cam couldn’t keep going on like this hurting himself and hurting others. Meredith was the reason he drunkenly sought relief as it was her he really wanted. Dane;s little sister ad he would lose Dane who he loved as a brother.
I loved this book. I loved Cam and Meri together. I loved how much of a friend Alyssa was to Meri and always had her back and gave her the strength to go after what she wanted . I loved the ending . I happily found nothing to criticize in this book. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book. I highly recommend it.

Every carrier of a secret crush or bearer of the burden of unrequited love would cheer for Meri and the way she put herself "out there", making it impossible for Cameron to ignore her or their attraction to each other.

A quick, sexy read from Cherrie Lynn. Despite the short length, I did not feel cheated at all. There was a whole story to enjoy. I definitely got a feel for both Meredith's and Cameron's personality. The only issue i had was a completely personal thing. It was the next day! Maybe not even 24 hours after she heard him with his one night stand. I think my age is showing! Apparently I am a bit uptight!

I've enjoyed other Cherrie Lynn books and I love a good younger sister with the older brother's best friend romance. Putting them together in Shameless had me ready to pick up and read.

Shameless is a quick, steamy read. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. I loved that Meredith was finally going to take action on her feelings for Cameron, her brother's best friend. While I think there definitely could have been more told of their story, I wasn't left feeling I was missing major elements.

This was a quick, hot (and sweet) brother's best-friend story. I generally don't gravitate towards shorter stories (hey, what can I say? I like big books and I cannot lie) but I didn't feel shortchanged with this story. It was well-written and I felt that I got to know the characters despite the length. There was no real drama, which suited me just fine for a quick evening's read. This was the first I've read by this author, but I'll definitely be looking at her other work!

Cam and Meri have been in each others lives for a long time. They're friends and he's been her brother's best friend for forever. But they both have been hiding their feelings for each other. A vacation is all it takes to get the ball rolling on their relationship blossoming to more.

This book was super quick. Based on the blurb, I thought I would love this book but it just didn't hit the mark for me. I didn't enjoy the way that things went down and Meri's brother kinda just made me mad. I thought that the characters were good and I did like them.

This was a short story about the older brothers best friend and the torch she has held all these years, but little did she know, he has held the same love for her. But a "no dating the best friends little sister" pact kept him from acting upon it. Cute and to the point with lots of sexy times.

Meredith had been in love with Cameron since they met, but he is her brother's best friend and her friend and she doesn't want to wreck that. But when a group of them are on a weekend vacation, in the middle of the night Cameron can't sleep so she's out on the balcony and hears a couple making out on one of the other balconies. She can't help but be attracted to the male's voice, but when the female screams out the name Cameron ... she shatters. But the next day, she picks up her heart and goes after him ... Cam never knew what hit him!

This is a very quick, very steamy read. WOW! Ms. Lynn sure know how to write a sex scene. The only thing that I didn't like was that it was too short! I would have liked to see more of Meredith and Cameron's relationship.

This book was ok...didn't knock my socks off but didn't really hate it either. When I requested this from NetGalley I didn't know it was such a short story...I don't love short stories in general. I found that I wasn't connected to the characters or the plot because it was over too soon after it began. If you're into fast easy spicy reads, this book is for you.

3.5 stars - I enjoyed this quick read, but did feel a bit let down too. This is a friends to lovers erotic romance. I love friends to lovers stories, usually. I think it’s because through the friendship you see love already, so the leap to lovers feels right and like the obvious next step. In this read, the opening scene is the hero having sex with someone who is not the heroine. The writer explains things and has the hero successfully not seem like a creep who bed hops. However, with such a beginning I definitely need a few, if not several, chapters that show the close friendship and obvious affection. We don't get that here. Instead, the very next morning the H and h spend the day together and end up in bed (that night!). I'm no prude, but can the other girl's scent have at least dissipated before the heroine lets him into her pants. Even still, if there were those chapters showing the friendship, longing and right fit, somewhere before the sex, I would’ve been a believer. Alas, there weren't and while the sex scenes are steamy, I'm not really feeling the love.

It gets 3 1/2 stars because the writing is good and the characters are very likeable. I just needed a bit more story to sell it.

I loved this story, I loved the characters, I loved the plot, I loved the romance, I loved everything about this story. When I was reading it I had thought I had read it before, but I hadn't. It was just that the writing was familiar to me, I forgot I had read the Ross Sibling series a long time ago, and I adored them a lot too. I think this authors writing is wonderful.

This book was well written, flirty, and fun.  It started of with a bang and I was instantly hooked.  Being that it is only a novella I read it quickly and enjoyed the banter and laid-back nature of the book.  As fun as the book was I needed a little more drama, the storyline was wrapped up in a nice little bow that didn't quite do it for me.

This book is the perfect summer read for those that are looking for something sweet and fun.

A bite sized morsel of steamy romance. Something you can read in one sitting that will make you smile and give you joy. The girl gets her guy and they get their happily ever after.

Meredith has had a huge crush on Cameron for as long as she has known him. Unbeknownst to her, Cameron has dealt with similar feelings to Meredith but has had to push them aside for the sake of his close friendship with her older brother. After a rather embarrassing encounter for Meredith that takes place at the beginning of the book she begins to become honest with her attraction to him; she decides to do something about. I am very grateful for receiving this arc, unfortunately, this story was not to my taste. It is a novella and I didn't know that going to it, so we didn't get a great amount of time to come to care for the characters. The story is not really plot or character driven it's focus is really about one thing. Thanks again for this opportunity.

This reads more like a short story... I really can't even call it a novella, it's just SO short. It really has the potential to be a great book, but since it's SO short it moves really fast. The entire story takes place over the span of about 2-3 days while Meri and Cameron are on vacation with their friends/family. Since it's so short there really isn't any time to give to the side characters, who seem like they'd have been pretty awesome if there was more, you know, time. That being said, for what there was the writing was AWESOME. There is so much potential there to be a great full length novel, and I just wanted MORE of this book, MORE Meri and Cam. Their chemistry is great, the sex scenes are EXPLOSIVE, and they have a lot of really cute moments in addition to the brain melting ones. My main gripe is really that it's just too dang short, which really is a sort of backhanded compliment in a way? I was not fully prepared for this to be a short story and had gone in expected a full length best friend's sister / big brother's best friend romance, so was a little blind-sided by the rather wham-bam-thank you ma'am pace of this one. That being said, I loved it, now GIVE ME MORE, DAMMIT.

This was s sexy, short beach novella originally part of the Some Like It Hot anthology. It’s a fantastic brothers best friend romance. I really enjoyed it!

Was a great quick read. I loved the friends/younger sister & brother's friend to lovers aspect of it. Great fluidity and I adored the banter of these two characters. I also loved the fact the brother did not freak out. Such a refreshing change to the brother getting all pissy at both of them! Overall, really good read!
