IN FULL FORCE by Kathy Altman is an exciting, twisting mystery. This story is a second chance for Charity and Grady, a high school couple that never got their ever after. It's filled with humor, intrigue and suspense. Definitely a five 🌟read!

Rating 3.5 stars

Tale of high school sweethearts who finally reunite. Both Charity and Grady came from dysfunctional families and let misunderstandings come between them. The story included the characters overcoming the challenges of the past while solving a murder.

I liked the way the author dove into the dysfunction and the imapcts on the main characters and the long lasting impacts. Charity's feelings of self-worth are wrapped in her her need to overcome her family's less than stellar repuation in the community. Grady's actions are colored by growing up with a family of addicts, who, on the outside, appear to have it all.

I was frustrated by Charity's wimpiness with Grady. She keeps telling herself to stay away from him. Her boss tells her to stay away from him. Common sense should be screaming at her to stay away from the Uncle of the main suspect in a murder. But no, Charity kisses him in her front yard. Then she invites him to participate in an ongoing investigation. Sheesh!

Overall an enjoyable read.

I received an arc from Netgalley. This story seemed to drag way on for me and it was hard to get into. Even though it wasn’t my favorite, I would read this author again.

A good read that kept me on my toes with the mystery of who killed Sarah, a real estate agent and a woman who had many secrets. The suspect pool keeps getting bigger as the story goes on, keeping me on my toes trying to figure out who dun it. Deputy Sheriff Charity Bishop is investigating the murder and is spread thin considering everything else going on her life which includes her ex from H.S. who shows up when 2 of her suspects are his sister and nephew.
After an incident in H.S. he leaves her high and dry having her defend for herself. Her homelife is nothing to be desired and vows to be a better person than her family, joining the police academy and wanting to prove to her small hometown she is better than her family and to atone for their sins. She is also running for Sheriff and has to prove that she can handle the job by finding the murderer and solving vandalism crimes plaguing the town. But Grady wants her which may jeopardize her running for Sheriff and compromise her investigation...can she handle it.
A good read with a bit of steam, some humour, suspense, mystery, secrets, lies, murder, heartache and heartbreak, rebellious teens, dysfunctional family drama and twists and turns I didn’t see coming. There were some parts I didn’t really understand such as Charity seems to be a tough, good woman but the Sheriff and her colleagues treat her like dirt at times which made me mad. The Sheriff treats her like a bully and her colleagues don’t want to support her for Sheriff, she does stick up for herself with some good comebacks but other times, keeps her mouth shut letting them walk all over her. Also, what’s with her family, why do they hate her so much, which was never explained. I also would have liked an epilogue to see how it all works out for them and I would have liked to have known does Matt finally accept her and where do they end up. Otherwise it was a good read that kept me turning the pages and when I thought I had it all figured out, the author surprises me with another twist and kept me guessing right to the end.

Charity and Grady dated in high school but events broke them apart and he left. Charity is a deputy sheriff but is planning on running for sheriff. Grady comes back home when his sister is arrested for murder. Charity is investigating the murder and trying to stay away from Grady. But Grady wants to help with the investigation and back with Charity and he’ll do anything to get his second chance.
Great story with suspense and mystery. It will leave you on the edge of your seat. I read this in one day. A little sex.

Thank you NetGalley for the copy of In Full Force by Kathy Altman that I read and reviewed.
This book was a bit slow moving for me and I just did not get into it like I was hoping I would. I found myself jumping around and trying to finish the book because I just wanted to know what was going to happen and who the killer was.
I am giving In Full Force three out of five stars.

I just love a good second chance romance! The characters in this story were dynamic and well developed. There was just enough push/pull in their romance and I was rooting for them from the beginning. I enjoyed the plot and was definitely surprised by how things played out!! I can't wait to read more from this author!

I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of In Full Force thru Netgallery . This is my honest opinion . I think this story is well written , such an amazing storyline . I was pulled in almost immediately . Charity Bishop is a strong woman , she is in law enforcement . Charity has alot of hard oppositions to overcome her entire life . Enters Grady West Charity's highschool ex boyfriend , love of her life .
Even though Grady comes from money he hasn't had an easy life . A crime brings him back to town and the feelings between Charity and Grady are still there . It's a rollercoaster ride of a story , alot of intrigue, suspense , fabulous main and secondary characters . I think this story is so worth taking the time to read . I highly recommend this book .

This is a great mystery/suspense second chance love story. Charity Bishop is a deputy in the Becker County police department. She has just arrested her brother and his buddy for drunk and disorderly when she receives a call from Dispatch about a dead body in the parking lot of the vet's office. When she arrived on scene she identified the body and scanned the area. Another deputy was talking to Justine West Langford who was was vomiting. Justine was the daughter of the prominent West family and sister of Grady West, her high school boyfriend whom she hasn't spoken to in 12 years.

This author was unknown to me but I liked her writing style transitioning smoothly from one scene to another. Her characters are well developed and made me feel as though I had known them all my life. The mystery was mind boggling. I thought it knew who did it then I didn't more than three times and then I got it wrong. Great story!
