Holiday Amnesia is an enjoyable story with tons of action. Robin, who works in a lab, has amnesia after an explosion destroys where she works. Toby is the man who she thinks betrayed her, but she is forced to rely on him for her safety.

The amnesia trope is a plot device that I dislike (too soap opera-ish), but it worked for this story. I enjoyed it despite the contrivances that amnesia brings to a story.

Toby and Robin's relationship added to the story in a good way.

A fast ride! Each page is filled with adventure and mystery, bombs, fires, kidnapping and even cold blooded murder. What's not to love! I loved it and I'm positive you will too!

Holiday Amnesia by Lynette Eason part of the Wrangler’s Corner series however it can be read alone. The story does take place during the holidays but there are only a few references to Christmas so you could enjoy it anytime of the year.
Robin sees something in her lab and as a result of them trying to kill her she ends up with a concussion and amnesia. She cannot remember anything from the last 6 months. Her memory starts coming back in snippets. Robin made smart decisions and I was thrilled that she didn’t act stubborn and stupid.

Toby is previous CIA now working as a professor. Because of his background he is asked to help on a case at Robin’s lab.

This is a good story, lots of action, and some romance. I realized the plot twist which is unusual for a Lynette Eason story. If this is your first book by her, keep reading.

This is not a Christmas book, it rarely mentions anything about Christmas. The mystery was good and I did enjoy the book. There is very little romance in this book as she had amnesia and did not even remember him for most of the book

I really enjoyed this book! I started it last night when I went to bed, next thing I knew it was 4 hours later (1AM) and hubby was asking me why I was still up LOL Oppsy!

The characters grabbed me right from the start. The suspense and mystery was wonderful! This wasn't really a "Christmas" read so if you are waiting for the holidays to read it, don't! This can be read all year long and enjoyed just the same!

A woman gets attacked at her workplace after witnessing a crime, and though she manages to escape, her injuries leave her with amnesia that erases the previous six months of her life. A man who deceived her in the course of her FBI job is the first to find her, and even though she has no memory of him (or of the fact that she's mad at him) she lets him try to protect her from the people who are trying to finish killing her.

The story is, frankly, 1 - not holiday related, it just occasionally mentions Christmas decorations and 2 - not much of a romance? There's a lot of action, so much of it that our two leads barely ever have a quiet moment to spend together. Since he is already in love with her before the start and she doesn't even remember him for most of the book, there's no development or romance going on. They're just two people continually (and I do mean continually) on the run. Most of the page time is devoted to the characters discussing plans in excruciating detail, down to tracking each and every one of the 42398742 side characters who drop in to help, even if they're only there for a second. Talk about plan -> conduct plan -> bad guys screw up the plan -> talk about a new plan. Repeat ad nauseam for 288 pages. It was at least a quick read, and the action pretty fun.

Eason's latest is part of a series, but it can be read as a standalone. There is enough suspense to keep the reader engaged and guessing. Scenes were believable. There was a bit of romance thrown in, but it was just the right amount. The character development was quite as much as in other books I've read by this author, but this book is a quick, enjoyable read overall.

I really liked this book. Robin doesn't remember Toby, but he seems to be the only one trying to keep her alive instead of kill her. I love their interactions and the extra sense that Robin gets about their relationship. There is plenty of action and difficulty to stay safe throughout the story.

Toby really was a good guy and I felt bad that he got put into the situation he did. I felt even worse with who the bad guy turned out to be. I was sure that was who it was going to be but hoped not. The author did a good job with the storyline.

It was a 5/5 for me.

A high-action, fast-paced story. Sometimes too fast-paced. At times the character development felt glossed over and the main plot twist was immediately obvious from the moment the protagonist was introduced. Still, an enjoyable read, if not the best.

"Holiday Amnesia" is a romantic suspense novel. Though a part of a series, it worked as a standalone. The hero and heroine knew each other before the story began and basically were already in love. Then the heroine witnesses a crime and gets a blow to the head when her lab is blown up. She can't remember that she really liked him or that she was angry at him. He's afraid she'll reject his protection if she remembers their argument. He wants her forgiveness, and having people repeatedly try to kill you helps put things in perspective.

The suspense came from the constant physical danger to the heroine and those protecting her while she struggled to remember who attacked her and also from her uncertainty about whom she should trust. The characters were likable and acted realistically. There was no bad language or sex. Overall, I'd recommend this enjoyable novel.
