I was super excited when I I saw that this book on NetGalley! I was super intrigued by it being referred to as a sci-fi reimagining of Les Mis. I wasn’t expecting how fantastic this book would be! The world building was so well done that I felt that I was transported to Laterre with its smoggy clouds and dingy Frets. I completely loved the characters and can’t wait for book two so I can see how their stories progress.
