Height of danger by Nancy Radke and Nolan Radke.
CIA operative Owen Putman is sent into a Central American country to discover who is sabotaging a dam being built there by a Texan, Chris Galbec. Galbec's daughter comes to visit him and is promptly kidnapped. Owen must rescue her while maintaining his cover story, but Laura will not stay where he leaves her, putting them both into danger.
A good read with likeable characters. Little slow but readable. 3*.

This was a pretty good read with lots of action and suspense it held my interest all the way through I really liked the storyline it is the first book I have read in this series and will be keeping an eye out for more.

Owen has been sent on a routine fact finding mission by the CIa but someone is trying to derail the construction of a dam in Central America When he survives two murder attempts he knows that there is far more going on than he realises When the construction manager's daughter arrives to visit and is kidnapped within hours he has to not only solve the case but rescue Laura as well. When Owen rescues Laura the life and death situation brings emotions to the surface now she is no longer just a client but is the woman he loves and when the enemy rears his head they realise danger is much closer than they expected
