This was a good exploration of queer identities, but I don't think it will go out much in a public library.

I really enjoyed this book! I wasn't quite sure what to expect but the author's calm and reflective way of narrating her youth drew me in immediately. The book is a rumination on the author's upbringing in the late 70s in Germany. She does a wonderful job of describing what it was like and reflecting on her experiences which eventually lead to shape her sexuality and desire. A really interesting look into the meaning of personal desire. Definitely would recommend.
