I received an ARC of this from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was a was a really interesting story however I felt it was a bit rushed and there wasn't really enough of it. I think I would have liked more build up and a bit more mystery. The characters were interesting though, the story flowed and the dialogue was well done.

I'd pick up another book by this author, perhaps a longer one.

A Gothic Romance that is spooky and sexy! Sometimes I was a little confused, but it was enjoyable. It was pretty funny watching Renata having lusty dreams about Kenrick and then seeing him the next day. I feel like this book was trying to give off a Witching Hour vibe by, but it didn't reach it.

I received this book as an advanced readers copy,I loved this book so much. I could not help but to be hooked and there is a new plot in every chapter which made it such an enjoyable read.

In all honesty, I couldn't finish this book. I wanted to love it. The cover drew me in and it sounded like it had a great premise.
But I found the writing style stilted, Kendrick's manner of speaking wasn't consistent and neither of the main characters had any depth at all. By the first third of the book, I had been pulled out of the story so often, I couldn't care less what happened to the characters or what the mystery of the place was.
Sadly, this one is in my DNF file.

I loved this book. Even though I thought I knew what was going to happen, it still surprised me. I love Kendrick!
