I really enjoyed this Regency Hearts book by Ava Stone!!! Her humor is fantastic!!

Book 4 gives us Caitlin's story! She is in London with Corinna, for their sister's wedding, but also, to search for her friend's sister. She hasn't written to him in some time and he's worried. Finding out the return address is a brothel is one thing, but getting locked into one of their rooms is too much!

While trying to escape, Cait meets our hero, Lord Daniel Westham. There is an instant attraction and he can't help but start to fall for the smart, strong fiesty woman!

The antics these two get up to are so much fun and I enjoyed the supporting characters as much as the heroes! You will want to check out this story!!

This one was a bit slow getting into but once I did , I fell head over heels in love. The characters are fun and sweet and loveable. The story has you rooting for a happy ending on all fronts. Just as the previous story, this one is worth reading.

A short and tame romance novella with a strong willed, yet sweet heroine. I hadn't read any of the other books in this collection, but I'm interested to see where it continues. There are a lot of characters, and sometimes the names get confusing, because everyone has a title and a name, but I'm very interested to see what happens with Cait's younger sister.

How to Tempt a Rogue Without Really Trying by Ava Stone is a delightful Regency page turner peopled with wonderful characters. It is part of the Hearts of an Heiress series featuring the three Beckett sisters, who are Bermudian heiresses.

Caitrin is a feisty young woman who longs to return to Bermuda and run Beckett Salt, the family's business. She has only remained in London for her older sister Cara's wedding to Lord Darling and to search for a missing friend. Her search lands her in trouble at a brothel and, when she escapes, she encounters roguish Lord Daniel Westham.

The attraction between the two is immediate and grows as Daniel helps Caitrin continue the search for her friend. The couple is helped along by the matchmaking talents of the Duchess of Hythe and the Countess of Upwell. They don't stand a chance against these pros!

I really enjoyed this story and look forward to reading about the youngest sister, Corinna, to see how she lands Daniel's brother, the Duke of Linthorpe.

I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for a honest review. This book was very enjoyable. The story hit the ground running, starting without building up the characters or story. I liked that the opening had action. It later filled in the blanks. The main characters were very likeable.

Lord Daniel Westham hardly believes his eyes when he spies Miss Caitrin (Cait) Beckett escaping from a brothel by climbing down a tree. He's never known such a brave and beautiful woman and soon he's spending most of his time with her. Cait has no interest in a London season or marriage but she does enjoy Daniel's company and steady presence. Will she remain in London with her sister or return to her home in Bermuda and what about the attentions of Lord Westham?

Thanks to the publisher and to NetGalley for an ARC; all opinions are my own.

Caitrin Beckett is in England for their eldest sister Cara's wedding, but she’s also made a promise to a friend in Bermuda to find his sister whom he hasn’t heard from for quite a while. During her search for Iona, friend’s sister, she finds herself at a brothel trying to escape. The heiress drops out of a tree in her haste to escape the brothel and she comes face to face with Lord Daniel Westham and instantly catches the rogue’s attention. Daniel luckily decides to help her and the two grow closer. This is a sweet friendship that develops into a smolder romance. Caitrin has trust issues with men, her fiancé broke off their engagement and she finds it hard to take the rogue serious. This is my honest opinions after I voluntarily read a copy of this book that was provided to me with no requirements for a review.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Caitrin and Daniel. Cait makes her own way and doesn’t care about London society at all. She would prefer to be home in Bermuda running her late father’s business. Daniel is a rake not looking for love, but it finds him anyway when he meets Cait.

As good as the romance are all the other relationships in this book - I especially love Daniel’s relationship with his niece. The story kept me captivated and it was hard to put down. I look forward to the last Beckett sister getting her HEA.

3.5 stars

I enjoyed this book. The romance between Caitrin and Daniel was good. It built throughout the book. I see that this book is part of a series and I think I missed out a little by not knowing the back story of some of the other characters especially the villain.. For me, I could have done with a bit more passion but it seems that the fashion is for more clean reads. Not sure that I'll read the others in the series but I would recommend this book.

Caitrin Beckett is searching for an old friend, but instead finds herself being held prisoner in a brothel. Luck is on her side, as she manages to get free. Unfortunately, her cousin and his gorgeous friend, Lord Daniel Westham, witness her daring escape. Caitrin has no choice but to spill the beans, and enlist their help.

Daniel is in lust with Caitrin the minute he sees her leap from a brothel window and climb down a tree. But alas, he is not the marrying kind. Daniel finds himself agreeing to help Caitrin if only to be around her, but he is finding it hard to remember that she is a relative of his friend. Caitrin makes it clear that she will eventually be returning home to Bermuda, but suddenly, Daniel isn't so sure he can let her go.

HOW TO TEMPT A ROGUE WITHOUT REALLY TRYING... the title really says it all. I love a clever title as well as clever characters, and author Ava Stone, delivers in this gem. Daniel is a rogue, through and through, so it is fun to see him struggling to do right by Caitrin. We all know a rake's nature will win out sooner or later. After that it is up to him to prove he is a true gentleman. HOW TO TEMPT A ROGUE WITHOUT REALLY TRYING is witty, fun and fast-paced.

This was such a sweet and romantic story.
Caitrin “Cait” Beckett is in London for her sisters wedding and though she loves her sister she longs to be back home in Bermuda. When she left for London she promised a friend she’s look up his sister who he’s not heard from for a while.
Daniel Westham while out for the evening with his friend meets Caitrin when she literally drops from a tree in front of him. Intrigued by the beautiful hoydon he must get to know her. Needing to find out more about Cait, Daniel seeks her out and she persuades him to help her find her friend. The last thing he wants is for her to fall from anymore trees.
Not looking for a future Daniel and Cait spend more and more time with each other and begin to depend on the other. Daniel sees Cait as a strong, smart and loving woman not the fragile one her family says she is. Daniel may be a rogue but he is Cait’s night in shining armor and she will not believe he is bad for her reputation. With the secret help from aunts and a little give and take, Daniel and Cait just might realize their future can be more then they dreamed of.

This was a quick, sweet read. It didn't have enough steam for me, but I enjoyed it and breezed right through it. Caitrin is the second of three daughters, all salt heiresses, and in England from Bermuda for her older sister's wedding. Upon arriving there and attempting to retrieve an old friend from Bermuda, Caitrin meets Lord Daniel, second son and brother of a duke. He agrees to help her locate her lost friend and they rapidly fall in love, despite Daniel's poor reputation, roguish ways, and his friends warning him away from her. The ending felt a little rushed for me and everything came together very rapidly, but it wasn't enough to put me off. All in all, this was an enjoyable read, if perhaps not a very memorable one.

A lighthearted romance with characters you will absolutely like. The story and the romance progress naturally and the end comes quicker than you realize. The Rogue melts your heart, especially when he is with his niece Hannah and you feel sorry for him a bit as all his friends think the worsted of him. There were a few slight typos, but nothing distracting. I enjoyed this so much I'm going to hunt for the other stories in this series.

I quite liked this quick clean regency romance. There were some funny moments and the H&h worked well together. There were a few areas/situations that seemed underdeveloped IMO that if fleshed out or continued would have added some tension to the story. Overall, a good story with interesting characters. *I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and this is my voluntary and honest review.

This is the fourth book of the series but can be read as a stand alone. It was a fun Historical Romance! I loved the characters. While some things were sad we did get a happy ever after. Well written! Would recommend.

I was delighted to read the story of another Beckett sister by Ava Stone. I enjoyed the first book about Cara and this one is just as good. All of the books that I have read so far by this author are quick reads that keep my interest from start to end. The story has romance, strong, independent, smart, female with an alpha male who recognizes and appreciates those traits in her, some intrigue in this story, and of course an HEA.
I am not one to retell the story as so many reviewers do. I find it beyond irritating when someone tells the story even if they give a spoiler warning, and if I want a synopsis I can read that from the back cover or description about the book.
I recommend this book and am looking forward to reading the story of the third Beckett sister Corinna.

How to Tempt a Rogue Without Really Trying by Ava Stone is book Four in the Regency Hearts Series. This is the story of Caitrin Beckett and Lord Daniel Westham. I haven't yet read the previous books, so for me this was a standalone book.
Caitrin is in London for a sister's wedding but they live in Bermuda, which Caitrin loves it there. While in London Caitrin is looking for a friend from childhood that no one has heard from. Caitrin meets Daniel and their is a instant attraction to each other. Daniel doesn't plan on marrying anytime soon after witnessing his friends attempt at marriage. But there is something about Caitrin that he can't seem to resist. It doesn't help that she seems to find herself in some predicaments he has to help her through while looking for her friend.
This was a cute enjoyable read!
