Caitrin Beckett, one of the Beckett Salt hostesses is in London for the wedding of her sister, Cara. One of her friends from her home in Bermuda asked her to look in on his sister who works in a dress shop. Cait goes to the address of the dress shop but it turns out to be a brothel. When she goes inside, she is mistaken for one of the girls. She escapes thru a window by climbing down a tree. At the bottom of the tree, there is a Lucien, her friend from her hometown and Lord Daniel Westham. Lord Daniel is known as a rouge who likes women, a lot. There's another side to him. He has a young niece who adores him. While taking taking his niece for a ride thru the park, he runs into Cait and her Godmother. There is a spark between Cait and Lord Daniel. Her Godmother notices and a matchmaking plan is implemented. As Daniel tries to help Cait find her friend, she confides that Charles Ballentyne jilted her for a girl with more money. She confides things to Daniel that she has told no one else. The attraction grows but she knows that she could never live in England. I love the Beckett girls. They are fun and spirited. Love these books and Ava Stone. I received this book from Net Galley and Night Shift Publishing for a honest review and no compensation otherwise.

The Becket sisters have been running their father's business after his death and will do anything to keep it going. Caitrin isn't your typical miss and when she drops out of a tree in front of Daniel, he is instantly smitten. Caitrin has no intention of staying in London. It is dirty and smelly and she really misses the Bahamas. Daniel has no intention of getting mixed up with any young miss but there is just something about Caitrin. Daniel is Caitrin's knight in shining armor and Caitron is the ideal woman for Daniel. Daniel realizes that life is short and he doesn't want to live without Caitron. Will she feel the same way?

When Bermudian salt heiress Caitrin Beckett drops out of a tree in her haste to escape a brothel, she comes face to face with Lord Daniel Westham and instantly catches the rogue’s attention. Luckily, she secures his promise to help her locate a childhood friend who’s gone missing in London.
Another very enjoyable read from the author. The story flows effortlessly & the characters have plenty of depth . Cait & Daniel are very likeable, their attraction is immediate but she’s going to return to Bermuda to run the family business & he’s no intention of settling down. Their verbal spats are highly entertaining, the secondary characters are also delightful especially a matchmaking Duchess, I look forward to Corinna’s story. My only quibble was that I was left wanting more

My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

This was a wonderful story. It is book 2 in the series and I had not read book 1. Thats said I did not feel like I missed out by not read the first book. This series is about 3 sisters who come to England to find husbands but also to keep their Bermudian Salt Mine open by lobbying to parliment.

In this story we meet Daniel, a huge rake and Caitrin. One of the sisters of the mine. C has a friend of a friend missing and so this story is about her finding her friend. Daniel helps her find the friend and that is how they meet, get to know the other and fall in love.

It was a fun, sweet and romantic story and I really enjoyed the story/plot, the characters and writing.

I received a free ARC from Netgalley.

I really enjoyed this Regency romance. The heroine was different because she was from Bermuda and yet her aunt was a duchess. While she has good intentions, she gets into situations that could have been prevented if she thought ahead. The hero is sufficiently roguish with being crass. He is helped along by good friends to grow in character.
There might be another book before this one. Her sister is getting married and had a few bumps in her courtship. A villain from her story plays a part in this one.
The story is told from three viewpoints. The focus isn't on parties but rather finding a girl from Bermuda that grew up with the heroine.

Clean of bedroom scenes
