When Bermudian salt heiress Caitrin Beckett drops out of a tree in her haste to escape a brothel, she comes face to face with Lord Daniel Westham and instantly catches the rogue’s attention. Luckily, she secures his promise to help her locate a childhood friend who’s gone missing in London.
Another very enjoyable read from the author. The story flows effortlessly & the characters have plenty of depth . Cait & Daniel are very likeable, their attraction is immediate but she’s going to return to Bermuda to run the family business & he’s no intention of settling down. Their verbal spats are highly entertaining, the secondary characters are also delightful especially a matchmaking Duchess, I look forward to Corinna’s story. My only quibble was that I was left wanting more
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

This was a wonderful story. It is book 2 in the series and I had not read book 1. Thats said I did not feel like I missed out by not read the first book. This series is about 3 sisters who come to England to find husbands but also to keep their Bermudian Salt Mine open by lobbying to parliment.
In this story we meet Daniel, a huge rake and Caitrin. One of the sisters of the mine. C has a friend of a friend missing and so this story is about her finding her friend. Daniel helps her find the friend and that is how they meet, get to know the other and fall in love.
It was a fun, sweet and romantic story and I really enjoyed the story/plot, the characters and writing.

I received a free ARC from Netgalley.
I really enjoyed this Regency romance. The heroine was different because she was from Bermuda and yet her aunt was a duchess. While she has good intentions, she gets into situations that could have been prevented if she thought ahead. The hero is sufficiently roguish with being crass. He is helped along by good friends to grow in character.
There might be another book before this one. Her sister is getting married and had a few bumps in her courtship. A villain from her story plays a part in this one.
The story is told from three viewpoints. The focus isn't on parties but rather finding a girl from Bermuda that grew up with the heroine.
Clean of bedroom scenes
