'Wrapped Up Vol. 2' by Dave Scheidt and a host of artists is a graphic novel about Milo, the mummy boy and his adventures.

As in the first volume, this book contains a series of unlinked stories, but by different artists. Milo goes on a camping trip and find a hungry sasquatch. Milo's dad is in a fighting contest. Milo's weird wizard friend does weird wizard stuff. These are just a few of the stories.

As in the last volume, things get a bit weird, so I'm not entirely sure who the target audience is. It seems like a kid's title, but I'm not so sure. The various artists are fun, if a bit uneven.

I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Diamond Book Distributors, Oni Press, and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.

Loved this! Such a sweet, wholesome book! The characters are even more relatable than the first book, and the magic is just fun!

Super silly but wonderful for kids! The pages are filled with colorful illustrations, action, monsters, and pizza. The stories are short and satisfying. Definitely a win for reluctant readers.

A fun read. I'm not sure what it was trying for, but the story wasn't my favorite. I did enjoy the art though.

*Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the review copy.*

This was so cute! A book of short stories. The illustrations were by far my favorite part of the book! We read this book around Halloween and my little ones enjoyed it so much! This book would make a great Christmas gift for the little spooky kid in your life.

This started out silly and fun enough, but I'm not entirely sure what book this wants to be. The art by Scoot McMahon was my favorite part of this book by far. I wasn't in love with some of the backup story artists, but most were serviceable (see Shan Murphy & Yehudi Mercado.) The tone for this was kind of all over the place and I don't know that I'll read it with my 6 year old. Milo's mom is seemingly the only character who's all that great as a person. I'm not saying all kids books need to have morals and lessons, but there wasn't anything resembling that here and it didn't feel like free-wheeling fun which might have excused that fact.

I really wanted to like this more and share it around, but I was left with that sort of flavorless-non-fat-frozen-feeling: I should have enjoyed this and I didn't dislike it, but I'm somehow still unsatisfied. Would 100% try other Lion Forge comics with Scoot's art.

Heh, this was so cute! I really enjoyed the fact that once again it wasn’t just one story, but rather little vignettes. Reminded me of Saturday morning cartoons back in the day.

Almost every story had me smiling (there were one or two that I didn’t like as much). The dialogue is witty and snappy and the illustrations were gorgeous.

I’ll definitely be recommending this.

This is a cute comic book for older children 9+. It centers mostly around Milo a Mummy boy and his family of Dad Mummy, Stepdad, Sister Jill and Mom. They have various adventures together like camping, visiting witches, going to tombs and more. It is well illustrated and very detailed. Milo and Jill come across as normal children even though they are not so children can relate to them. It is a more advanced comic and some of the monsters may scare little children. I think it would be a great comic for your comic reader for Halloween. It would fit in very well with the Halloween theme.
I received this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
