I think I was hoping for a bit more from this volume but it's a good continuation. I'm definitely interested in reading more from KAMO in the future.

This is definitely more of a 2.5 but I decided to round up. A nice continuation from the first book, but it's pretty formulaic so it doesn't necessarily make me that excited to read more. I like the characters and the designs in general, but the ARC copy that I got was so small and almost impossible to read that I probably won't continue with the series . Still, if you really love manga and you have a physical copy instead of an ARC I can see this being a much more enjoyable read.

On this second volume of the series, Kamo continues hunting down spirits in order to capture them and regain his health. Along with Crimson, the spirit he has a pact with, he now has the company and support of Shokola, a clairvoyant young woman who helps him along the way. But when a strong spirit starts turning children into stone, Shokola's young sister is in danger. Kamo will have to use all the power he can get his hands to in order to save her.

The story continues to built up in a very interesting way. The characters Kamo meets along his adventure are interesting, and there are also some heart-breaking parts about his past. A very good Book 2 in the series, recommended to fans of mangas and fantasy.
