Traffic safety is a very important topic, but it is not that easy to get your toddler focus on the rules when there are so many distractions outside. Fortunately, the super cute inhabitants of Broomstown are ready to come to your rescue. If your child is familiar with the characters of Robocar Poli TV show, they already have a good idea of the best qualities of these wonderful creatures. The lessons themselves focus on misbehaving children (what not to do) , while Poli, Amber, Roy and Helly save them just in time. Then there is a ‘Learn to ...safely’ section which clearly states the rule and the reason for it.
The children will be definitely attracted to the bright and colourful pictures, while the adults can use the text a prompt for a game or provide a further explanation if necessary.

It's super short but full of great illustrations. It basically goes over some of the basic rules for kids regarding safety on the road.

We've never watched the Robocar series on TV, so weren't familiar with the characters. I think the message of the book (road safety) was good, but it needed an adult to explain the pictures. If you'd seen the relevant episodes, maybe it would have been clearer to follow the key points on each page. (ARC received from Netgalley)

This is a fun and great way to teach traffic safety to your little ones. Full of cute characters and bright colors this book will keep any child interested in the lessons. You have Poli the head of the Broomstown Rescue Team, Amber the Broomstown Ambulance, Roy the Broomstown Firefighter, Helly the Broomstown Helicopter and Jin the Broomstown Rescue Operator. Each of the characters has a special mission and message from crossing streets to riding bikes and more. They also have some fun facts on the page about the characters. I recommend this book for 3-5 yr olds.

Fun book to read with kids about traffic safety. Great illistrations! Popular character and kids can relate. Would recommend!
