this book was very hard for me to follow. I ended up not finishing it. This is nothing against the book or authur but I just could not get into it.

I loved Destiny's Whirlwind. I look forward to reading more by Catherine Ulrich Brakefield in the future. 5 plus stars.

A loving Christian type story that is full of love, God, faith, struggles, and tribulations. Collina May is left in charge of Shushan at age 16 after her father passes. Collina May is a strong young woman who holds strong to her faith and Christian lifestyle. She wants to make the family proud through protecting the legacy handed to her. She is fearful she will fail everyone! A young man working on the ranch, Franklin, catches her eye and vice versa. Franklin is going off to war..will he return? Will Collina May make her family proud by working the farm and fulfilling her father’s last wishes? Will she be an old maid? The book is a wonderful tale that fits the time era perfectly. I received this book as a gift and am voluntarily leaving a review.
