A really lovely selection of very different garments for everyone! Really good, clear photos and clear, easy to understand pattern instructions. I loved everything about the book.

Oh my goodness. This has to be THE best children’s knitting book I have ever seen.
I don’t know where to start. Blanket, headband, mittens, hats, cowel, dresses, pants. The list goes on and on. Over 60 ptojects to choose from.
The instructions seem to be very clear and concise and everything is beautifully photographed.
And all the children are beautiful models.
Looking forward to making many projects from this book.
It is s now my number one reference for any child knitted items.

Tnat the title of the book is "Knitting for Little Sweethearts," and the firat pattern I saw was a crochet hat threw me a little bit. Other than that this is a beautifully designed book, The overal aesthetic and photography more than do justice to the classic and timeless paterns. I have been looking for a hat pattern for a newborn and found many to choose from.

If you knit for little people you NEED this book in your life. Usually when I buy a knitting book, I’m buying it for one or two projects. But this book? I’m sure to make almost all of them. Well detailed patterns. Gorgeous pictures so you know exactly what your project should look like.

I love this collection of knitting patterns! Most of the patterns are designed for infants, toddlers and children, but there are a few adult patterns in the mix as well. An experienced knitter could also fairly easily upsize many more if they wished. The collection includes hats, sweaters, blankets, mittens, headbands, cowls, capes and more. It was a nice addition to include headband versions of many of the hat patterns. Yes, this is an easy adaptation for an experienced knitter, but a newer knitter would appreciate the option. While I don't have children myself, I can see this book being handy for making baby shower gifts and birthday presents for friends' kids for years to come. The patterns are classic enough that they won't look dated years from now. There's enough variety here to please just about any knitter's style. And can we talk about the photography? The children used are adorable and the images are beautifully shot, but I especially loved that they used images with "real" kid expressions rather than waiting for perfect smiles. So charming. The images included also show the details of the patterns well. This book would be a perfect addition to a knitter's pattern collection.
