SUPER STEAMY, OUTRAGEOUSLY FUNNY, A UNDOUBTEDLY LOVABLE ROMANCE THAT I COULDN'T PUT DOWN!

Damn, this book was SO FREAKING GOOD! I fell in love with Andi and Reid. The sparks that seemed to snap up between them had me grinning from ear to ear. The story was wonderfully entertaining. It was fun and sexy and brought pure joy to my senses. There was a lot of great snark and wit that made me chuckle and the sex made me giddy because it was HOT. AS. SIN.

Hot For His Girl gets a SO GOOD ITS A MUST READ FIVE SHOOTING STARS!

A cute story about 2 bloggers, who fall in love. I enjoyed how the story was how life as a mom really is, sick kids and all!

First of all I am totally in love with Reid! This was a fun, sweet romance that I couldn't put down. The blogging background was unique and i loved the snarky, sarcasm of Andi's secret blogger persona and Reid's relationship with Andi's daughter Gabby was adorable. Rachel Blaufeld said this rom-com was a bit of a departure for her but I hope she continues to explore this genre in the future.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I absolutely loved this book. I was not expecting a rom/com but it was a terrific one by Rachel Blaufeld. Andi and Reid were terrific characters and I loved the blog concept storyline. I did not want this story to end and the epilogue was great!

I absolutely ADORED this book! I love a guy who is a little nerdy and a whole lot of sweet! And who doesn't love a kick ass single mom who will do anything for her kids! Reid and Andi are the type of characters that I absolutely love; they are bloggers (yay), kinda funny in an awkwardly sweet way and just absolutely perfect. I would read this book again in a heartbeat!

Hot For His Girl is a bloggers romance. Lol. Who knew there was a subgenre for bloggers? It's cute and every bit the sweet story the blurb says it is.

A single mom's second chance.
A single guy's intrigue.
A blog that pulls them together but also keeps them apart.
He works overtime to catch the time of day from her. He's an optimist while she is in the cynic realm.

Together it makes for a cute story.

I really, really, really wanted to like this story but there was so many factors that just did not interest me. I love reading blogs but a romance based in the blog world just did not work. Andi and Reid's love story existed more in their blogs than shown in this story and I quickly grew bored with this book. I will read this author's books in the future, just not this one.

This was a super cute read. Andi and Reid both have blogs, while Reids blog is him barbecuing and grooming habits Andi’s is more secretive where she critiques other blogs. It had great wit and banter with great characters. I do wish Andi would have told Reid her “secret” sooner it all works out in the end.

I have never read a book about bloggers and I am glad I grabbed this one because it was funny, sweet, and a perfect read for a lazy Saturday. I learned so much about the "successful" blogging industry (as opposed to my attempts at blogging when I was 17 and writing really bad poetry).

Andi is a single mom who runs an anonymous blog that criticizes other bloggers who are fake or mean. It started as a reaction to a bad experience but has blossomed into a profitable business. Her whole life focuses on her daughter while she tries to be both mom & dad while trying to keep her sanity. I loved the very real moments of mom thoughts yet still being dedicated to picking her daughter up from the bus every day. I also enjoyed how Andi kept time for herself to run and set routines to combat anxiety.

Reid is a statistics professor who started his Grill and Groom blog on a dare. He often grills shirtless which makes his college administration nervous about granting him tenure. Reid contacts Andi's blog to ask how she does it anonymously. In a perfect meet cute they run into each other while Trick or Treating and a relationship slowly develops.

My favorite part of this book was Reid's willingness to date a single mom and place himself on her level. Instead of being disappointed in not having more alone time, Reid includes Andi's daughter in their dates. There was a very sweet scene where Reid realizes he pushed Andi too hard in making time for him when she was feeling "mom guilt" over quality time with her daughter. "I've been known to go to bed in Darth Vader pajama pants."

I was left cheering these two on for the whole book. Reid and Andi were realistic and the banter was hilarious. I haven't read this author before but I will definitely be searching out more of Rachel Blaufeld's work.

This book had it all, sex, angst, drama and this addictiveness to it too. I love Andi and how she’s found a way to make a living off her blog. I mean it feels like a dream, to make a career out of something you love to do. It doesn’t happen to everyone.

Reid, I liked him but I did find his reaction to the blog to be a bit crazy and over the top. However for a story where it’s meant to be a bit lighter, it definitely balanced the story out which I appreciated.

It’s definitely a sweet read that I recommend to all.

What what will you get when you add the right amount of romance and humor to two bloggers and a child?
The perfect rom-com!

Andi is a single mother who supports herself and her seven-year-old daughter with blogging. She started as a regular parenting blogger, but as it turned out, brutal honesty with a bit of humor brings her greater profits. That's how UnAffectionate Blogger was born.
Reid is a professor by day and turns into a barbecue master after dark. He updates his kitchen revolutions on the vlog under the name Grill and Groom. Did I mention that grilling takes place without a shirt? ;)
One day, fate leads Andi to Reid's door (literally - Andi and her daughter get to his door on Halloween). Our heroine instantly recognizes the sexy vlogger she has already seen on the Internet thanks to her sister. He does not know that a top blogger is standing at his door. He just sees a beautiful woman with a child who immediately attracts his attention.
They start to run into each other more and more often. Reid is fascinated with Andi and tries to approach her. Unfortunately, Andi was hurt badly in the past, so she surrounded herself with high walls. Fortunately, Reid is consistent, so he slowly manages to demolish these walls and take Andi on a date. The chemistry between these two is amazing! A huge plus is also how great Reid is with Andi’s daughter- Gabby. Generally, it should be noted that Reid is a walking PERFECTION!
But it can’t be too sweet - there's only one and only drama in this story - Andi never revealed to Reid her virtual personality, and Reid contacted Andy's online alter-ego to seek advice. No wonder that a guy feels cheated when the truth comes to light.
Fortunately, these two (plus little Gabby) are created for each other, so we have a happy ending :)

Wonderful story. Sweet, adorable and funny.
Rachel Blaufeld has created the perfect rom-com that will melt your hearts!

When the barriers come down the temperature rises for two cynical bloggers. Blaufeld drew me into her intricate web of smoke and mirrors. On the surface, And I is a blogger with an edge. If the chip on shoulders gets any bigger she'll be leveled under the weight. Reid is the guy who is constantly overlooked, but has a great deal to offer. Beneath the masquerade, two lonely hearts are yearning to become one. Love is risky business, but the reward is a happy ending. Hot For His Girl is a sarcastic kick in the heart that flirts it's way into your soul.

Enjoyed this book. The characters were believable and not 'perfect', so you could really feel like you knew them. I think it is such a great idea to have stories about single moms, who may not have it all together, but are making it. The only thing that I would have enjoyed is if there was a little more to the story at the end. Otherwise, well done and recommend it!!

Fun, original Rom Com

While Andi is a little cynical both she and Reid are likable realistic characters thanks to Rachel Blaufeld's wonderful way with words. I had never read any of Rachel Blaufeld's before, it was the initial book blurb that caught my attention and I'm glad I took a chance on this well paced story that kept my attention from beginning to end. I especially loved how the epilogue made me smile.

***4 Stars***

The description was the lure. I mean, I do the reviewer/blogger-ish thing so that peaked my interest and when you add in the whole single parent thing I and my curiosity got the better of me. And I have to say I really enjoyed the book. I was hooked from the first page and found it to be fun and sweet, and though relatively low on angst and drama, it had just enough moments of frustration to keep things interesting until the very end.

I really liked Andi, even when there were times where I wanted to reach into my Kindle and shake a little (or a lot of) sense into her. She was burned, badly, and while it could have totally crippled her, she pulled on her shitkickers and did what needed to be done for her daughter, and I have nothing but admiration for her in that respect. But she does have walls and while I don’t blame her at all, they blind her to quite a few things, including herself.

Reid is hard not to love. I mean the man is laid back and yet underneath that is a stubborn determination that screams alpha AF male. But what got me was his honesty. The sincerity in his words, and more importantly, actions, made it easy to fall for the man and be #TeamReid, at least in most cases.

Andi and Reid’s journey was a sweet and awkward journey, but overall it was a fun one. I won’t deny that there was a good amount of eye rolling going on as Reid charmingly bulldozed his way into Andi’s life (with the help of Gabby and Leona) while Andi waffled between her need to be an island and wanting to go all swoony over Reid, but it also kept me turning the pages to see what would happen next and while I didn’t get a that deep unabiding connection from them, I did see something that could grow with time.

As for the big elephant hanging out in their relationship. I’m on the fence on how I feel about it. While part of me feels that Andi should have come clean about being the UAB, I also get why she didn’t because trust comes in many forms and she trusted Reid with what was THE most important part of her world. And as for Reid and his reaction. I also don’t blame him at all. He gave everything and to expect the same in return is something I understand, so hence the fence. The other thing is that I wish there had been a bit more grovelling. I don’t mind a relatively simple reconciliation, but I just needed a little more in the end.

This was my first read by the author and I was hooked from the first page. The writing was engaging and I enjoyed the dual first person POV’s. As for the secondary cast of characters, Gabby and Leona were a lot of fun and I loved what they brought to the story. So, if you’re in the mood for a romance more on the sweet side, then this is the one for you!

Hot for His Girl introduced me to Rachel Blaufeld for the first time, and now I know to be on the lookout for this author.

First of all, this cover has got to be one of the best (and hottest) that I've seen in awhile. That's what initially drew me to this book.

But the love doesn't end there!
The premise of Hot for His Girl intrigued me, and I wanted to see where the author would go with it.

Furthermore, both Andi and Reid were such likable characters I couldn't help but be invested in their HEA, and the dual POV was engaging. The secondary characters were nothing to flinch at either, especially Gabby (Andi's daughter) and Leona (the neighbor).

The chemistry and attraction between Andi and Reid was delicious, the banter entertaining, the nerves and persistence sweet, the angst and drama low-key.
All in all, it was a wonderful romance. The thing that bothered me was how long Andi held out before revealing her secret, but again, at least the resolution was not overly dramatic.

WOW!
Just...WOW!!!
I read a lot of good books. Some great books. And some exceptional books.
To me, this book was exceptional! I could hardly put it down in order to go to work, sleep and take care of my son.

Andi is a single mom who blogs anonymously. Reid is a blogger who has his name out there. Both are successful. They do not know each other in the beginning. This is an important fact you will notice while reading this story. Andi comes across his blog when her sister asks her to check it out since she thinks her husband is up to no good and now reads it. (LOL!) Then on Halloween, she ends up at his house while her daughter and her friend are trick or treating. Add in another few run-ins and they finally go on a date. Only, Andi refuses to call it a date. With her daughter. To fun-zone. (Insert another laugh here!)
I loved the blogger aspect of this story since I have never read this exact type of story. Talk about Refreshing! I truly enjoyed this book from the beginning until the end.
I'm sad the book is over. I highly recommend it!

3 stars. When I started this book I was really enjoying it. I loved Andi's voice. She was funny and snarky and doing what she need to raise her daughter on her own. I loved Reid. He was an adorable geek who loved his blog. They kept running into each other and Reid wore Andi down (with the help of the cute daughter and nosy neighbor). Then Andi made a mountain out of a mole hill. I'm still not sure why she didn't just tell him. He loved her blog and was in contact with her alter ego about it. I got really irritated with her nonsense. It was not that big of a deal. And then when Reid found out, he reaction was WAAAY over the top. How, exactly, was he a pawn??? Very confused. This was a good concept with an interesting view into blogging. However, the execution of the plot was tepid.

A fantastic romcom read! Loved how Reid is a stat professor by day, sexy blog griller by night. Andi is a single mom, supporting her daughter the only way she can and be home with her at the same time. When their paths cross... flirty banter and hot chemistry ignite. Hold on to laugh out loud moments, and times you’ll swoon hard. I really enjoyed this story. I highly recommend this book.
