Unfortunately this book was not for me, it was a bit slower than I would like and it just didn't hold my attention. I am sure other people will love it!

As always Alex keeps the reader intrigued with his fast paced storytelling and trying to figure out what will happen next. Always clever twists and turns and never disappoints with the ending. Well done Alex.

The prologue starts out with a bang! I am hooked at this beginning and and ready for my reading journey.

I really wanted to read this book after reading the publishers blurb but once I started I had a hard time trying to keep up. It was ver slow and dragged on in parts. The reader is given too much information way too fast that causes you to reread some of the paragraphs. While the story did have good parts to it, it was very easy to figure out how it would end. Certainly a great plot with lots of liars all around but way too predictable.

Thank you to netgalley as well as the author for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

When Grace's husband John suddenly dies, Grace struggles to put her life back together. She is sure she keeps seeing John in the distance, but she watched him die so it cannot be him.
Questions begin to arise and Grace has no answers for them. It seems that John was hiding something from her, but what?

This book just dragged on and on without a whole lot of plot, and the small amount of story it DID have was very predictable and not exciting at all.

The setting wasn't for me, the author is Australian and yet this was set in America, whereas there are a lack of australian crime thrillers which is a bit confusing as to why it was set elsewhere.

This was a little more of a slow burner for me, rather than a gripping psychological thriller.

Main character Grace is devastated after witnessing the death of her husband in a hit and run vehicle accident. Strange things start to happen around her, but she can't work out if someone is playing a sinister game or she is truly losing her mind.

The author does a great job of describing Grace's thought process as someone who is grief stricken, frightened and potentially mentally unstable. However, I didn't ever gel with Grace, in fact, I grew incredibly frustrated with her (which is probably what the author intended). It was good to see a transformation in character at the end of the book. I also had trouble connecting with Grace's friend Jennifer and didn't find their friendship believable.

I read the book quickly and didn't see the twist coming, in fact, I got it completely wrong. I would definitely read more books from Alex Sinclair.

I love Alex Sinclair and was so excited to read this book. Unfortunately, the story took a long time to get going and I was constantly waiting for something to happen. The action does not really occur until the end of the book.

Too much gaslighting, too little plot. Friends who are actually enemies and husbands who are liars, what's not to love? This book- I was underwhelmed and bored.

Tell Me No Lies by Alex Sinclair is such a twisty, suspenseful, and, at times, downright scary read! I loved it!

I would like to thank Bookouture Publishing and the Netgalley website for this partnership.

I loved "The last think I saw" this one even more.

There is Grace who is trying to start over after her husband's death in a hit-and-run. She finds herself alone. She will go through her husband's belongings and find a list of hidden names, a bank account she didn't know existed and a shocking revelation about her family that it was well hidden to tell her when they met.

She will try to find information on this list and realize that something is not right.

Being a big fan of psychological thrillers I wasn't disappointed with this book, I put myself in Grace's shoes how to do when you learn a lot of things hidden about your partner?

A captivating psychological thriller, full of suspense and twists and turns and endearing characters.

When you are married you are supposed to have no secrets from your spouse anymore. Supposed.
Grace's husband is killed, and she has to pack up his life, his things, his memories. Then she discovers all the lies and deceit that he hid from all the year. This was a solid read, and recommended.

The premise of the book was OK, but only OK, I can't say any more without giving the game away, so I'll just have to leave that there. The execution of the book needed some refinement. I was frustrated with Grace existing in a vacuum, apart from Jennifer. Where were her parents and family? There was a reference to her parents coming to the funeral but that was it. So after their daughter buries her husband following a tragic accident they don't pick up the phone once or pop in to see her? They must be the worst parents ever. Where were Grace's friends? Why on earth would Grace feel guilt over her husband's death? Why was telling him she wanted to start a family so difficult? And why on earth did she lose the power of speech? It was too laboured, too contrived, it just didn't really work. But there were elements that were really good and Mr Sinclair definitely has something there. Maybe a re-edit is called for as the need to tell Jennifer everything and then Grace's loss of speech was too repetitive. The psychiatrist just wasn't right either. His behaviour was most odd. The ending was very rushed and it was all over so quickly. I hate to seem so negative but I feel that with a little bit of work, a cut here and there and a few sprays of Pledge this could be a very enjoyable book. As it stands, I'm sorry, but it didn't do it for me.

It's John and Grace's wedding anniversary, they have been married for 5 years. They went out for dinner to celebrate, but when they leave the restaurant John is killed by a hit and run driver.
Grace is devastated... She thought she new the man that she married. Grace learns things about her husband that are unbelievable to her. She thought she knew her husband, but really she didn't know him at all..
As the story unravels it is easy to see where the plot line is.
Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to read this book.

This is a modern mystery thriller. Graces husband John dies in an accident. As she sorts through his possessions, Grace discovers that she didn't really know him. Read on!

Seeing some of the reviews, I didn't know what to expect from this book. However, I really enjoyed it. The sense of lives led as lies because of secrets kept was well done. We didn't really know whether Grace was grieving or something more sinister. And the ending was a shocker. Well worth reading.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an advance ARC of this book.
