Tricia Downing is such an imaginative and descriptive storyteller.
I definitely think if you are looking for something fresh, yet something that will make you think a little deeper in the process of reading, and even after, this one is for you. She does a great job of melding all of these elements to make the novel cohesive.

Rainey can push through most other obstacles in her life, she's dealt with extreme changes and come out with a fierce determination. Put her in competition mode and she will bring it, yet inside she's scared of letting go. Her past has shaped her views on love and relationships. No one can live up to her parents storybook romance. When her best friends Natalie urges her to give online dating a try, she's resistant, but not one to turn down a challenge, she jumps into the unknown.
Brian had realized he's done with casual hookups and is looking for something meaningful. When he meets May Belle online he's open to taking things slowly. Getting to know someone without the face to face can break down some walls. Yet things get more complicated as they move on.

I love Rainey! She felt real to me. I could some how relate to her. I finished this book in a day. It was sweet and i enjoyed it very much

This is about Rainey who is trying online dating. She is not upfront from the start about being in a wheelchair, which orcourse causes an awkward situation. What I liked was that it's an emotional story. Part of the story through online conversation on a dating site. I normally don't like this, but in this book it's well executed. It helps to get to know the characters better. At times the pacing was too slow. I thought it took too long before Rainey finally felt less insecure. And some things in the story went a bit too sudden. Especially the ending felt rushed. All in all it was an enjoyable read, but not something great.

I’m not always drawn to romance novels, but was a great read! I started the book and finished it in just two days! I absolutely loved the characters and storyline. I look forward to reading more of the author’s work.
