I really enjoyed reading this book. Other books on Vietnam Journalists I have read focused on the well known names of civilian journalists. In this books the author finally puts the spotlight on the military journalists who covered the war. These men were soldiers and journalists rushing into the battles. The author does a wonderful job of bringing the war to life by interviewing those who there. I liked it that he presented a complete picture of each journalist. Not only their war years, but their before and after years. Anyone with an interest in war and wartime journalism should read this book.
