A touching novella about choices all of us make. Narrator must decide if he should obey his father and go to business school or chase his dreams instead. A strange old man overhears the argument and tells his own story. A story of a wasted life that started so well. Some readers may find supernatural elements out of place, but I’m not one of them.
Short, quick to read and genuinely touching. It’s an anthem for rockin’ rather than rememberin’.
Well worth the read.
