Another Leslie North novel that I found myself enjoying quite a bit. It's a definitely entertaining story with interesting characters.

The Sheikh's Royal Seduction is the first book in the Desert Sheikhs by Leslie North and a complete stand-alone. The book is written in the way Leslie North usually writes, but some stuff bothered me. Once Zatar gets over the fact that Alexis is a woman and she can help with Sala he forbids her to leave the premises and she is basically his captive. I was not a fan of that trope. Another thing I didn't like was how easily everything was resolved in the end. There wasn't a moment of worry and everything seemed to fall into place very easily and without much effort or communication from all parties. It wasn't awful and there were some parts I liked which is why I am giving it 3 stars and a read at your own risk recommendation.

What happens when Prince Zatar and veterinarian Alexis (Alex) come together. She is only there for one reason and that's to help Sala the lion who is heavily pregnant and has an infection, but Prince Zatar doesn't want her to go incase something goes wrong with his lion. So he imprisons her in the palace. What happens when the harem see her and think she is too plain for him and 1 of the girls runs and tells his dad King Patar about the foreign woman. All hell breaks loose when King Patar wants her thrown out but Prince Zatar won't allow it as he needs her. But does he need her for just Sala or does he really want her for himself?

A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the first in a series, but as always reads well as a stand alone. Prince Zator has a sick lioness, so along comes Alex (oops a female veternarian!!). She fixes up Sala, but gee guess what?! They call in love. The Sheikh is a jerk (Prince Zatars dad). This was a bit different and so it appealed to me. Women in unique roles in foreign countries!! Yeah!! 3.5 stars.

Generally, I enjoy romances. Just not this time. The whole story seemed implausible. And there was more sex than actual romance. Female veterinarian is summoned to tend a pregnant lioness. Male rule of this country refuses to let her leave until the birth of his cubs. Less than 48 hours later she is having sex with him. Unfortunately, I didn't care about either of the main characters. I was disappointed.

I found this to be a very enjoyable read. An entertaining story-line and great characters keep your interest extremely well. Watching the evolution of the relationship between these two was a treat. Add in drama and steamy passion and you have a good read.

Zatar had one goal and it was to save his precious lioness and would stop at nothing to see her healthy once again. It was the only thing he had left from his beloved mother and soliticig Alex’s help was the only thing that mattered. Having a exotic veterinarian fulfill his needs was a step in the right direction. What was not however was finding out Alex was a woman. She was not just any woman but someone he could finally connect with. He could not abide by one of his father’s harem girls and Alex shared the same views he did. A quick and mutually beneficial relationship will help them both achieve their dreams.

Alexis must resist Prince Zatar as she is called to save his exotic pet. Sparks fly as they get to know one another in their task. Book one in the Desert Sheikh's series that will keep you turning the pages.

Ebook from netgalley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.

Exciting, emotional, sexy and action packed romantic adventure with two charters that are more than reluctant to let their undeniable passion over run them both for different reasons..... Really enjoyed reading this thrilling journey that kept me entertained all night.

Alexis Seaton is a wildlife veterinarian. When she is called to attend an emergency in Kattahar she meets Prince Zatar Balizar.

When the Prince verbally attacks Alex and commands her to leave, Alex of course gives him a piece of her mind and refuses to go until she at least examines her patient.

Prince Zatar has never met a more frustrating but beautiful woman before and it doesn't take long for the two of them to act on their attraction. Unfortunately the King is not happy and Prince Zatar finds himself having to defend Alex from the threat of losing the one woman who means more to him than breathing.

Thanks to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Dr. Alexis and Prince Zatar's story was a fun read. They were brought together by Sala, the Prince's beloved lioness, as Alexis, an exotic wildlife veterinarian works to save her. Not drama filled, it was more of a sweet sexy story of two people from different cultures revolving around Alexis and Zatar, with a common goal, saving Sala. A short read, it was pure entertainment. I love books like this as it always gives me as a reader that aha moment of pure enjoyment. I would like to thank NetGalley and Relay Pub. for gifting me "The Sheikh's Royal Seduction". My opinion is my own. This is mine. 4.25 Stars!

What a great read the book was so worth it. At first you see Prince Zatar's arrogant side when he demands Alex cannot leave until Sala is safe from harm, and then you see the way he changes his attitude towards her not just falling for her beauty but her caring heart the passion and love they have both have for injured animals warms my heart! Throw in a Harem of meddling women and a King whom doesn't want the zoo his deceased wife had or a foreigner under his roof. Makes for an amazing story! A definite must read. I voluntarily read and reviewed and advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

WOW! Turned out so much more than I expected. It is an absolutely fantastic contemporary romance. Prince Zatar is not your regular price, you love him right away. He is a huge animal lover and takes them in to care for ones that were mistreated. His lioness named Sala holds a special place in his heart and she is not well, and close to close having cubs. Zatar sends for an exotic animal veterinarian, and we get to meet Alex. We are taken on a journey that was easy to follow, I felt like I was right there with them. Extremely well written. I will be looking for more novels by this author. Must read!

I was given a copy of his book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

unoriginal story, poorly written, stilted dialogue. I didn't get more than a couple of chapters in before giving up because of the silly story. Would not recommend.

When I first saw this book, I really wanted to read it and I had many expectations. By the end of the book, I was a little disappointed by the story. It was the first time I read a book about a sheikh and I really wanted this book to surprise me.

The story develops very fast and sometimes even too fast. Alex Seaton is a young veterinarian. She is called by Prince Zatar of Arabia because his lioness is sick and he is ready to do anything for his pet, even kidnapping Alex Seaton so she could take care of the matter. From the moment they meet, love sparkles between them and their relationship develops until they eventually become lovers.

Prince Zatar is a prince, has troubles with his father and doesn't want to look like him. His father keeps reminding him what his duties as the future king are. He wants to be a better ruler than his father. He is dark, seductive and every woman would like to spend at least one night with him. I liked Alex. She tries her best to resist the sheikh's seduction but progressively falls in love with him. According to me, she was a strong woman and I would like to see more characters such as Alex. I would have liked for the story to last longer and to develop more slowly.

The books contains around 100 pages so you can read it quickly. The story is very predictable. But for those who are searching for a quick reading, this book is for you.

Alexis/Alex had just got to the palace. Alex was a veterinarian who specializes in exotic animals care her love was big cats. Alex had got a call from a man named Timak the night before to come rescue his employers ailing lioness. Alex was used to late night calls and it was why she was so revered in her field and one of the highest paid vet in Europe and the Middle East. Timak was the palace zookeeper and met as she got off the helicopter. The lioness was Sala and she was pregnant. Prince Zatar Balzar was upset about Sala. He had received Sala as an orphaned lion cub for his twenty fifth birthday for his mother. Two years later she had passed away so Sala was his last link to his mother. When Alec came upon Sala she was panting in the shade at the back of the enclosure. Then the prince said there had been a mistake acting like an immature spoiled prince Alex turned to walk away from the prince and Sala when his hand grabbed her arm and the prince said “ wait” Keeping Sala alive and healthy was all that really mattered to Zatar. Zatar had promised his mother to continue her work by rescuing abused and endangered animals. Alex’s attitude both incensed and intrigues Zatar, no one would speak to him like Alex did but his father -with such disrespect. Te harem girls did not like Alex first because of the way she looked and then because the prince had dinner with her. The next day the prince had Alex moved to a guest room two doors down from his own room. Alex was very attracted to the prince and she knew she had to control it and not give in as she also knew an affair with Zatar could ruin her reputation. Zatar were also very attracted to Alex she was different then the women he was used to. The prince refused to let Alex leave until Sala gave birth. Which would be two weeks. Sala had an infection which was common in pregnant lionesses. Zatar thought about Alex and his strange circumstances. She wa spart employee, part guest, part intoxicating temptation that grew by the second. Then Alex wat his door but he seen his father and had her go in his closet and he would explain to her later. This his father-King Patar said that he had a foreign woman in his home and Zatar said what he did in his personal life was none of the kings business but the king disagreed and brought up it was time he got a bride and had a son for his heir. His father had always been demanding and impatient but since his wife's death it seemed his father noe believed he could walk over everyone who stood in his way. Zatar kept his face neutral as his father hates the zoo. Zarat figured it was the link to his mother the king couldn’t handle. After King Patar left Zatar agreed with Alex his father was a pig about women and only used the for playthings. Then Zatar admitted admitted to Alex the first three months after his mother, he had done things he regretted . He was drunk out of his mind, he tried to numb himself with sex. He also gambled but for him it was a phase. Zatar wanted love and a real relationship with the woman he someday marries. Alex tells Zatar could only control himself. Then he moves closer and kisses Alex. Never once- before Zarar had Alex in all her years attending the rich, powerful, and famous, had she been remotely considered hooking up with a client. But Zatar’s gaze and mind wiping kisses made it impossible to pass up the chance.
I loved this book. I hope I get to read the next book in this series on Zarat’s sister. Again ms North did it with another excellent book and with a delicious sheikh but no surprise. I loved Zarat and Alec together and how they interacted. A little bit of insta/lust/love but not enough to take away from this book - I guess in my opinion just that great of a book. I could find nothing to really criticize that took away from this book happily. I loved the plot. But would like to see a book on Alex before she met Zarat and maybe her marriage and her dream happen. I loved the characters and the ins and outs and I highly recommend.
