I found this an enjoyable read you have to spend disbelief on a lot of the science but it is just believable enough to keep you engaged A quality read for the science fiction fan

3.5*
This was a fairly short read. I finished it in two sittings and found it quite intriguing. The concept linked space and history and gave me almost time-travelling vibes. The premise tells you about a Nazi from 1945 and I think we can all work out who that is. The writing was alright, I found it hard to get in to at the beginning but eventually became accustomed to the writing style. Overall a good read!

I couldn't finish this book. The conversation felt stilted and I didn't like how much detail was being given, heights and the like. The lead character thought to himself to explain to the reader and that didn't feel natural either. It all very very stilted and formal in a way. I think all the reminiscing about the good ol' days was to give personality to the character but they all seemed the same really. The 'science' wasn't believable and because of how stilted the rest seemed, I couldn't even try to go along with it. All in all I felt it wasn't well written, or perhaps just not my style, and I didn't enjoy it.
I'm still grateful to Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

History and science mingle in a speculative story that is sure to please. While fictional, there is enough reality to ground this high flying book.

A quality read for the science fiction fan in your life.
