This was an enjoyable story, perhaps not the most unique out there but I actually like that sometimes.

There are times when reading a steamy romantic story that doesn’t twist you about with the shocks, is actually the perfect distraction from the fast changes that happen in life.

It was wonderfully engrossing, the characters were fun and entertaining, and all told the story was a joy to read! Well worth adding to your collection

Love Whiskey River and Eve Gaddy!!!! One of the best series of hers I have read and re-visited I should say.

Readers will love Levi Chapman and Dana DeLong as they navigate the present, with the past bringing insecurities and fears into their relationship. And it's always a treat to be visited by her other characters.

Great read!

Dana and Levi have tried the relationship thing. While they are smoking hot in the bedroom, real life is more difficult to balance. She ended up taking a job in the city and ultimately breaking his heart. Now she is back in Whisky River working on the airport project. They manage to keep their distance until he asks her for help getting his house ready for his brother to move in. The time they spend together making modifications to his house to make it wheel chair accessible only reaffirms their love. The question is... is love enough to heal the past and give them their happily ever after?

Levi couldn’t stay away from Dana. He really tried but after their failed relationship he tried to move forward. She was everything he needed but she never really knew about the demons of his past he never really dealt with. Secrets hidden. With his injured brother returning home he needs help once again as an architect. Redesigning his home to help his brother bring them closer. One thing holds them back. Trust. How can you trust someone who broke your heart? Love this series. Definitely curious about Laurel and Zack and how their life is progressing.

Eve Gaddy delivers another amazing and wonderful book with “No Ordinary Texas Billionaire”. Romcom at its finest, as this author pulls you into a perfect blend of romantic sexiness and sweet sentimentality. Eve Gaddy books have heat and soul - a potent combination. Absolutely recommend

I think No Ordinary Texas Billionaire is my favourite Eve Gaddy book so far. Dana and Levi are both strong characters with history that has impacted on their ability to be a couple in the past and threatens their ability to be a couple in this story. Both are exceptionally talented, Dana as an architect specialising in accessible buildings and Levi as an inventor.
This is a sexy story — the physical relationship is off the page — but there is emotion too as Dana and Levi face their demons and grow together. The story is well paced and pretty short so it’s perfect for a lazy afternoon.
No Ordinary Texas Billionaire is the third book in the Devil’s Rock at Whiskey River series. It works well with the first two stories, though you won’t struggle to work out who’s who if you read this one first.

This was an okay read. The writing flowed pretty well, but the story wasn't something that grabbed me. Levi and Dana dated previously, and it ended mainly because they never talked to each other about anything. After they get back together, they still don't talk much. I'm not sure how mature adults have a relationship without ever talking about anything of importance. Asher helps them along in that regard, but it's almost like pulling teeth. When the drama happens, and Levi jumps to conclusions, Dana acts like she can't believe he did it. Uh, maybe because you did that exact thing before. Granted she explained herself, but I understood the reaction. The ending was sweet, and they get their HEA. This was a first for me in this series, but it didn't change the way I read this story.
I voluntarliy reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

No Ordinary Texas Billionaire by Eve Gaddy is book 3 in the Devil´s Rock at Whiskey River series. It´s a stand alone type of book so you can easily read it alone.
It´s such a great romance story about two people who did not make it the first time around but are so meant to be together that they just seem to be drawn back together again. And should they make a go for it or not. That´s the big question.

NO ORDINARY TEXAS BILLIONAIRE by Eve Gaddy is a great read. This is my first book by Eve Gaddy, I'm definitely interested in checking out any additional books! I really enjoyed the back and forth dialogue between the characters. You could feel the warmth of friendship in the words of the story.

This was a nice second chance romance. There was a nice sexual tension and heat between Levi and Dana. Like most second chance romances I was a little frustrated by their inability to communicate effectively but of course they eventually find their Happily Ever After and it is worth it. There are also some engaging side characters here and although this is part of a series it works as a standalone as well.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and feelings are my own.

I totally enjoyed reading His Best Friend's Sister by Eve Gaddy, book three in her Devil’s Rock at Whiskey River series. Billionaire inventor Levi Chapman prefers his small town Texas hometown and old friends to big city life. A job remodeling Devil’s Rock airport brings the only woman who ever touched Levi’s heart, architect Dana DeLong. Dana leaves her life in the big city to work on this project. When Levi's Green Beret brother is injured in combat, Levi’s need to take care of him forces him to turn to Dana. Dana’s specialty is designing accessible housing and she can’t refuse to help his disabled veteran brother. Although Levi and Dana agreed to remain apart, passion continues to glow strongly between them, encouraging them to give in to their desires. As these two work together they learn so much more about each other, information that might have saved their earlier relationship. With all of these changes in their lives, hopefully they can find the answers to save their relationship.

Ms. Gaddy wrote a wonderful and moving story that is not to be missed. This story is filled with sexual chemistry, fun dialogue, and endearing characters. I highly recommend this book to other readers.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

The third book in the series has Levi, the billionaire needing to remodel his home for the return of his brother who was injured in Afghanistan. He turns to Dana DeLong who you find out that the two of them have a past together and you as the reader wonder if they can have a future together. Besides having a past with each other Levi’s past, his childhood comes into play and he must deal with that in order to move forward with Dana. She as well tells him of something that happened to her and this also clears up something that took place for both of them years before. Now can they work through all of that and have a future together, read this wonderful story and find out. The characters from the others books are still here in this one and you feel like you are reading about real people which is always good when reading a story.

Levi had to ask his ex girlfriend- that he had lived with for three months in Florida before it fell apart- a favor and he didn’t want to. Dana was the architect for the Devil Rock Airport remodel and expansion. Dana was the best at what she did. Levi had spent the last eight months avoiding Dana. Unfortunately Levi’s always wanted to rip off Dana’s and his clothes and go to bed whenever he sees her. Asher was Levi’s brother and was a wounded warrior he had been in the service since he was seventeen and had been critically injured but miraculously he pulled through but one of his legs was gone from the knee down. Then Levi went to Dana's apartment and explained Asher had been a Special Forces Green Beret and he needed to remodel to accessorize his house at least the lower floor to fit Asher’s needs. There were all the entrances and ramps to be done. After Asher’s bedroom suite and bathroom Levi wanted the kitchen and his den accessorized also. After that they would see what else they could do to help Asher in any way possible. Dana had no choice to accept she would be helping a wounded warrior and he was Levi’s brother. But how would she handle seeing Levi every day she had never got over him. Harlan had a construction company and said he would do everything he could to accommodate them. He had built accessible housing before. Asher was due home in a couple of months. But Dana was the expert and they needed her to tell them what to do. Dana thought how she had been with Levi twice since she moved back to Texas . Before that it had been six almost seven years. But Levi still affected her like he always had. Levi looked and dressed like a regular guy with jeans and tee shirts not the billionaire he was. Levi was no one’s idea of a billionaire or even millionaire. Dana and Levi had never been able to talk about why they broke up or had never talked about their pasts. But Dana knew Levi was one of the good guys. Dana thought it didn’t matter what she felt she had to do this job. Levi still had feelings for Dana as well and he made it his business to know if Dana was dating someone or not and she wasn’t.
I loved this book. I loved Levi and Dana together. I was glad they learned how to talk to each other. I liked Asher and thought he was a great secondary character and definitely added to this book. He told Levi what he needed to hear. I loved the ending. I loved the veterans/wounded warrior aspect of this book and I felt the author did a good job on showing some of the problems veterans/wounded warriors have after coming home and after they are home. I happily found nothing to criticize in this book. I didn’t want to put it down. I have a new favorite. I loved the plot and pace. I loved the characters and the ins and outs and I highly recommend this.

I think one of the most notable things about books by this talented author - as well as me thoroughly enjoying them - is that they are so realistic it is easy to believe they could actually happen. Her characters are portrayed, warts and all. None of them are perfect, they all have flaws which make them human and believable. In this case the story is a second chance romance with a couple who have been together, split up, got together again, split up - you get the idea! They are irresistible to each other, the chemistry between them explosive but life usually forces them apart . . . but maybe this time they can discover their way to their HEA together?

Levi Chapman is a highly successful inventor, a billionaire who prefers life and living in his hometown. He has close friends who are now also business partners in the local Devil’s Rock Airport. When they employ Dana DeLong to help remodel the airport they brought the only woman Levi can’t resist back into his life. When Levi’s brother is seriously injured in combat, Levi asks Dana to help redesign his home to make it accessible for his brother, Asher. As the flames of passion burn brightly can the two overcome the differences which separated them in the past to discover lifelong love together?

With great characters who are easy to relate to this is a delightful book to escape into. As in real life, sometimes the behaviour of the characters is predictable but at others surprising but they are always realistic. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who enjoys second chance romances with fantastic, believable and easy to relate to characters.

I requested and was given a copy of this book, via NetGalley. This is my honest review of the book after choosing to read it.

Tension, intense feelings, chemistry: all are playing havoc for Levi Chapman and Dana DeLong as they try to keep away from each other in this delectable, engaging book. There is a constant battle against chemistry when Levi and Dana join together to revamp his home for his injured brother. Should they take a chance on the impending love explosion between them or keep running away from it? They may lose the battle of the wills but win the war until a monkey wrench is thrown into the works.

A second chance romance with no denying the sexual passion that they share but they have a hard time figuring out the rest. Loved Dana and Levi, great characters that had a hard time finding their way but with few obstacles in their way they manage to find their HEA.

Levi, I just loved him!! Such a kind heart to everyone including his brother. Since growing up with a single abusive father he is very use to protecting everyone and himself included.

Loved Levi's brother, Asher. Asher has just returned home as an injured veteran. He is now trying to find his way. I so want more of his story!!

This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone.

Book three in the "Devil's Rock at Whiskey River "series.
This is Dana and Luke's story. Can two ex's rekindle their relationship? Can they learn to trust each other?
Luke needs the best person available for his house remodel and that person is Dana! Luke's brother Asher is coming to live with him after rehab. Asher is a injured army veteran who is reluctant to move in with Luke and makes it very clear that it is only a temporary arrangement!
Read on to see how this amazing read unravels!

No Ordinary Texas Billionaire is book three of the Devil's Rock at Whiskey River Series by Eve Gaddy. I enjoyed this story but I am not sure how to classify this romance. It could be called a second chance romance but for Levi and Dana it is more like the third or fourth chance. Still I like the idea that a couple could finally get it right.

Besides the romance relationship, this is a story of brothers standing together. Levi became a more complex character as the past and his brother came to stay with him. From what first looked to be a predictable romance turns into a strong story of family, loyalty and resolve with a hint of humility too. Unusual for a billionaire story to have that in it.

An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher through Net Galley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
